I know playing through the same game multiple times to understand the full story might not be for some. But I'm enjoying it. And I'm currently on my second playthrough.

I want to see all the endings and unlockables this game has to offer. Plus, I need that Platinum trophy.

I'm still patiently waiting for Amazon to deliver my copy today. The longer they take the later it will be. I don't plan on playing until nighttime, anyway.

I just hope the issues on PS5 Pro aren't enough of a distraction for me.
If so, maybe playing on the smaller Steam Deck OLED screen via remote play would make the shimmering less noticeable?

I expected nothing less from Sucker Punch, especially after Ghost of Tsushima.

Seems like Ray Tracing Pro mode will be the way to go on PS5 Pro.

Is there gyro aiming with the bow/rifle? If not, I'll have to use the Steam Deck OLED to force gyro aiming.

The Gears of War franchise holds a special place in my heart. These games were a technical showpiece on the 360 back in its heyday. Almost 20 years later, it's hard to believe Gears of War is available on PlayStation, and it will look and run better on my Pro compared to the Xbox version.

Even though I have a digital copy of Reloaded free on my Series X (since I own Gears Ultimate Edition) I had to order a physical copy for PS5. I'm excited to jump back into the campaign and maybe dabble, with a little bit of online multiplayer. My copy will be arriving today!

I thought it was digital only at first which made me sad.

I noticed it was up for pre-order on Amazon yesterday and put my order in for a PS5 copy.

If the Switch 2 version wasn't a game key card, I would have double dipped. Oh well, I'll use that money towards Silent Hill f instead.

@kmtrain83 Yes, it's becoming more difficult for us physical collectors, especially with these portable devices. (PS Portal, PSP 2?)

PS Premium has made my Portal experience more enjoyable with a large library of digital games to choose from.

I think since the PS6 will be backwards compatible with PS4/PS5, that we will have at least one more generation with an optional disc drive.

I'll keep my PS5 Pro to play all of my disc-based games, just in case.

Another Plus is having years of PS Plus monthly games tied to my account.

Most of my PS4/PS5 collection is on disc. So a disc drive is important to me.

At least it will be another long cross gen. So if the PS6 is digital only. I'll stick with my PS5 Pro and see what PS6 Pro has to offer.

I'm interested in the handheld. To natively play through extra/premium subscription games and remote play.

@kyleforrester87 Exactly! 45fps feels almost like 60fps to me on the Steam Deck.

I'm sorry to hear that. For the most part, my Steam Deck experience while docked to the TV, has been good.

After the last Steam OS patch, my docking experience has been even better on both of my TVs (LG C1 OLEDs) I use the official Steam Deck Dock from Valve with an HDMI 2.1 cable. Which dock and cable do you use? And what kind of TV? If you don't mind me asking.

@kyleforrester87 After adjusting the settings, yeah. I have it at a mix of medium/high settings in portable mode and cap the frame rate to 45fps and it's smooth, stable and looks better than the 360 version. Plus I use gyro, so it makes aiming so much more pleasant!

I can also play docked to the TV, if I cap the frame rate to 40fps at 720p and it still looks better than the 360 version.

I know that might not sound impressive since it's an older game, but unfortunately the GTA IV port on Steam has frame rate issues, if you don't cap it to 40/45fps on Deck, then it fluctuates all over the place.

I'm not knowledgeable enough to download mods to fix it. It's a game issue, not a Steam Deck issue.

Having just played through GTA IV on my Steam Deck OLED. The game holds up and it's such a joy to play. I prefer it over GTA V.

I'd love physical copies of GTA IV for PS5 & Switch 2, please.

The 360 version runs at 60fps on my Series X, but the 720p low graphics settings look very dated on a large 4K OLED TV.

@Oram77 I'll take RE0 also, but I hope they add local and online co-op to it. Personally, I was not a fan of swapping back and forth between two characters and having to manage both inventory slots. It was very cumbersome and took me out of the experience.

Nope, but I've added it to my Steam wishlist, to purchase later on after a discount.

If they have a proper physical release (no game key card) i'd gladly double dip and pick up a copy of Stellar Blade for my Switch 2, instead of the Steam version for my Steam Deck OLED.

With all of the hentai games, flooding the Nintendo Eshop. I don't see why it couldn't happen, lol.

Maybe the Switch 2 version could have some custom skins for Eve (Samus, Zelda, Princess Peach, ect) kind of like Fatal Frame, had for the Wii U back in the day.

Not a big deal for me. Play it on Day 1 via Game Pass on my Seriex X. Pickup a physical copy for PS5 Pro after a price drop.

I know most people do not have the luxury of owning multiple platforms per generation.

This is just how I plan to do it.

I recently took advantage of the Day's of Play sale and renewed my PS Plus Premium subscription for another year. So I'm good to go!

I'm glad they didn't abandon it. And they're still working on it, at least. I've had the game since day one and Platinumed it within the first week of release on my base PS5. By the time the Pro released, I had already moved on.

Gyro working as intended is the main update I like to see!

Balanced mode at 4K 40fps on PS5 Pro is also nice to see!

Now we need a physical release and I'll be satisfied!

Decent month for me! Now I can keep my physical copies of Sand Land & Granblue Fantasy sealed and play the PS Plus versions instead.

I never finished Soul Hackers 2, so I can go back to that without having to put the disc in.

Good old GTA 4. I didn't appreciate you as much back when you originally released (Xbox 360). But I made up for it and thoroughly enjoyed my experience on Steam Deck oled last year.

GTA 4 is now my second favorite game in the series. After San Andreas, of course.

That's fine. I'll pick up a physical copy a year after release. All patched up and ready to go for $10. Like I did with Borderlands 3.

With the rising costs of current gen hardware so late in its life cycle, purchasing my PS5 Pro at launch feels more worth it by the day. Games that take advantage of the extra power are very noticeable indeed.

Even if PS6 is only a few years away, I wouldn't be surprised if it's $800 or more at launch. Plus, cross gen will be a thing for years to come, meaning my PS5 Pro has plenty of life left in it.

But does the Playstation version support gyro aiming? Probably not. Looks like I'll wait a few years when it's dirt cheap to play it on Steam Deck 2 with mouse like gyro support. Or mabey even Switch 2, who knows...

@GirlVersusGame I'll give it a shot. I disagree with Gwent in Witcher 3, though, because I did not enjoy that. I haven't played Slay The Spire. Pokémon The Trading Card Game for GameBoy Color, I really enjoyed back in the day.

But I want 120fps with gyro aiming! I'm tired of devs pretending like gyro isn't a thing.
That's why I'm so thankful for the Steam Deck OLED! Give me the option to turn gyro on or off on each and every game if i want at a system level, Sony.

It looks like fun, but I'm definitely not paying full price for it. Especially since I could pay for Game Pass and play it on my Series X along with hundreds of other games. I'll wait for a sale and pick up a physical copy for PS5 and play it on my Pro later this year.

@dschons I appreciate the information. However, I've been using my Steam Deck OLED to force any and every game to use gyro on my PS5 Pro. Depending on the game, it can work pretty well 😏

Actually, I just went back and played the PS4 version of Days Gone a few weeks ago to finish up the last few trophies I was missing for the platinum. I'll probably just transfer my save over to the PS5 version for another platinum since I'm not in the mood to play the game again anytime soon.

What about for us PS5 Pro owners? 4K and 120fps? But with this art style it seems like this game will be perfect for playing in bed on PS Portal. I suppose I'll find out soon enough.

I want to download the PS4 version of Hogwarts Legacy on my PS5 Pro, but all I see is the PS5 version, which I already own and have Platinumed. It shows that the PS4 version is locked behind buying the Deluxe Edition. Anyone else having this issue?

@NitrousX I hope it has gyro aiming as well, but if it doesn't and you have a Steam Deck, you can force it and any other game on Playstation to have gyro, and it works pretty well, depending on the game of course.

@NeonPizza I agree with gyro being poorly implemented with the PS5 versions of RE4 Remake and RE Village, but it's better than no gyro at all. I think Capcom did a decent job with gyro support for RE Revelations 1 & 2 for Switch.

I can't speak on VR since I've not tried it. I'd assume the motion controls are on another level compared to standard controllers.

I doubt it, but maybe Nintendo will bring back the sensor bar for Switch 2...

Give me 4K with 120fps and gyro aiming, please. Also, physical copies of RE 5 & 6 for PS5. I'll gladly buy again if so.

At the moment, I prefer to play these games on my Steam Deck OLED, 90fps in handheld mode and 120fps while docked to my TV with gyro is so much more enjoyable!

I've played a bit of Space Marine 2 on my PS5 Pro, and it's very impressive so far. But I wanted to play Space Marine 1 first before I continued the second, so I went with the Steam version to play on my Steam Deck OLED and it's so much fun.

The series gives me Gears of War 1-3 vibes. I can't believe I never heard of it until recently. I'm now a fan and looking forward to any new releases in the future.
