I already played both games in 1080p at 120fps on my LG C1 OLED and it was a great experience. The gameplay was so smooth and it still looked good, even at 1080p. I still need to go back to Uncharted 4 to get some more trophies for the Platinum. This will give me another reason to check out the VRR update. I hope Naughty Dog added gyro aiming with this update as well 🤞.

I wish Naughty Dog would patch in gyro controls for the PS5 version. It's included in TLOU Part 1 & 2, so why not Uncharted as well? Makes no sense...

@Meehanuk_1987 I felt the same way for a while. Playing with the Dualsense made my Series X controller and even the Switch Pro controller feel dated. After finally buying an Elite Series 2 controller, it made me want to play my Series X more, because of how comfortable and premium that controller feels. The 4 back buttons on the Elite Series 2 are an absolute game changer. Something I wish the Dualsense had. Even the new Dualsense Edge will only have 2 back buttons. I wish Sony would at least release a back button attachment for the Dualsense, like they did with the Dualshock 4.

@Meehanuk_1987 Collecting every color of a controller isn't something I would usually do, but I really like the Dualsense controller. It's my favorite controller of all time! My family/friends tell me I don't NEED that many Dualsense controllers and think it's a waste of money. But I'm a controller junkie, so I can't help it 😂😂.

Looks nice, and I love the color grey! I'll pre-order the controller and order the Starlight blue one, then I'll have all of the Dualsense controllers!

I don't understand why companies don't put $100 plus Collector's Edition games in a cardboard box when shipping them. I usually order my games from Best Buy, and all of my Collector's Edition games are shipped in boxes. Most recently, Made in Abyss Collector's Edition (yesterday) & TMNT Cowabunga Collection Collector's Edition (Tuesday). This seems to be a common thing with Amazon as well(using envelopes), smh it's such a shame to see Sony do the same thing.

I was thinking about waiting to order a Firefly Edition myself, and now I'm glad I just bought a standard copy instead.

I pre-ordered my copy, just waiting on UPS to deliver it. Even though I have the PS3 & PS4 versions, I couldn't resist getting the best console version available for one of my all time favorite games. Can't wait to play it tonight!

Seems like an easy and fun to get Platinum. I was happy to see no multiplayer trophies. No difficulty trophies makes it even easier. I'll still play through the game on grounded anyways, because I love TLOU so much. So hyped for this & Made in Abyss Collector's Edition tomorrow!

I'll start Soul Hackers 2 for PS5 today, when my copy arrives. Hopefully I can finish it before The Last Of Us Part 1 releases. Other then that, some more Xenoblade Chronicles 3. I should be done with it before the weekends over. And probably some Dying Light 2 co-op on Series X with a friend.

Put my pre-order in yesterday. So excited to play the best console version of one of my favorite games of all time! I'm assuming gyro controls is included in one of the many accessibility options? It was added to TLOU Part 2.

Hopefully it's around $150. I can't see it costing more than the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller at $180 but who knows. Either way, I'll be buying one asap! I have 6 Dualsense controllers that I'd like to still use, so I hope Sony releases a back button attachment for those. If not, they probably won't get much use from me after picking up a Dualsense Edge.

The 1TB WB Black SSD has been great for me this past year. I knew it would fill up quick, so I purchased a 5TB external drive for PS5 games I've completed. I prefer to have all of my games downloaded and ready to play at anytime, so I plan on upgrading to a 4TB SSD soon.
Especially since I see them on sale all the time.

Playing Blue Reflection Second Light on my PS5, I'll be going for the Platinum for that game. Still playing through Xenoblade Chronicles 3 on Switch, about 50 hours in. Nothing much on Series X at the moment.

Give me a physical complete edition with all of the DLC included on the disc for PS5, please. I'd buy that day 1!

@Lando_ Those are both good points. I was thinking the PS5 version for performance and better visuals, plus trophies. Mabey I'll wait on a review. Or pick up both versions, who knows lol.

@KilloWertz So did you quit gaming for a while? Nintendo has held on to my wallet for the past 5+ years with all the Switch releases that continue to come out with no sign of slowing down! Switch is easily my biggest collection of games (250+) I have compared to my other consoles and I still feel like I'm missing out on so many others.
So many games, not enough time to play them all...

Just finished Ghostwire Tokyo last night and i loved every minute of it! I have a few trophies to go until I get the platinum, so I'll be doing that.

I also started Xenoblade Chronicles 3 last night, it's safe to say that will keep me busy for a while.

@MulletproofPunk I agree! I have the Razor Kishi and PSPlay app for my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Both work so well together. I can play PS4/PS5 games in bed at 1080p with HDR on my phone! I don't use it very often, but when I do, it's amazing! The PSPlay app even supports gyro controls and rumble thru the phone! That app puts Sony's app to shame. That being said, I've heard good things about the Backbone, if an android version comes out, I might get one.

Someone enlighten me, why would I want to use 1440p options if my TV is 4K? (LG C1 OLED) Would that be a better option to choose for games that use a lower resolution, like for performance mode?
I understand if you have a monitor that's only 1440p but other then that, I don't get it. I'm a beta tester, so I'll check out the update today.

I've only played Persona 5 and I love it!
It would be nice to have all of the other Persona games released on modern systems. I'm looking forward to playing Persona 3 & 4 Golden on Series X for GamePass later this year. And hopefully pick up physical copies (if available) of them for Switch.

I already own all 3 games, but a great month none the less... I only have the PS4 version of THPS 1 & 2 though. So it would be nice to have the PS5 version...

All these features are great for anyone who wants or needs them. I just want gyro controls. Which I don't see here 😒

@theMEGAniggle C'mon have some faith. I'm sure Naughty Dog will show extended gameplay with new features (Hopefully) and if not, we wait and buy it on sale for $20. And still have the best version of TLOU part 1 to date. With 3D audio, dynamic 4K, and Dualsense features lol.

I'm not picky, they don't have to be built from the ground up remakes to please me. I'll take dynamic 4K at 60fps and I'd be happy. Obviously a remake would be better, but I'm sure Sucker Punch is working on Ghost Of Tsushima 2, which I want also lol...

I think Second Son looks amazing on PS5 already and it runs at 60fps so that's fine as is...

@theMEGAniggle Lmfao the PS3 version has that. I didn't really care for it haha. 1080p at up to 120fps is fine (the way I played Uncharted Collection) and dynamic 4K at 60fps, VRR, ect. But I just want TLOU 2 gameplay and gyro support, that's all.

I'm all in day 1 because I love TLOU so much! This video doesn't do it justice though. I'll wait on Sony/Naughty Dog to give more details before I make my final decision. I really want gyro aiming to be included like ND added to TLOU part 2. But they didn't add it to Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection so that's concerning...

I was late to play Persona 5. I only played it when I got my PS5 on release day, because it's part of PS Plus. I loved it so much that I bought P5R physically for $30. I'll buy P5R again day 1 for Switch only if it has a physical release. Same for the PS5 version, but I'll wait on a price drop for that. If not, I'll just play it on Game Pass day 1 on my Series X. I'd much rather play Persona on Switch in handheld mode, but not if it's digital only...

I went back and played Infamous Second Son again on my PS5 last year to get the Platinum. Wish this would have been available for free then... o well, mabey I'll get to it one of these days. I didn't care for Second Son that much, didn't click with Delsin. Infamous 1 & 2 I loved, Cole is awesome! I would love for the first 2 games to come to PS5 with a remake or remaster. That would be great, Sucker Punch! I still need to play First Light also...

I missed out on the PS4 version but picked up a copy for Switch last year. Didn't finish it but I loved what I played of it. I'll definitely pre-order a copy for PS5 from Best Buy soon!

So many horror games coming out within a few months, with this in December, Dead Space Remake in January, & Resident Evil 4 in March! My favorite genre in video games hands down, so I can't wait!
I just need to figure out which platform to go with for each game. Xbox Series X or PS5? Hmmm.....

I always go with the 60fps option. I don't mind the minor downgrade in visuals for that smooth framerate. Can't wait to see how amazing this game is going to look on my LG C1 OLED! 3D audio & Haptic Feedback also!

I played my part and bought RE2 for Xbox One & PS4. Give me physical releases of RE2, RE3, & RE7 for Series X & PS5 and I'll buy them again!

I thought PS5 already supported ALLM. I have Game Optimizer on with low latency active for my PS5, Switch, & Series X on my LG C1 OLED. I still don't fully understand what BFI does. I hear a lot of praise about it from Digital Foundry. I have my PS5 & Series X set to PC mode for the hdmi ports, so I'm assuming that's why it doesn't give me the option to turn on BFI. However I can turn it on when I use my Switch (not set to PC mode) should I not use PC mode for my PS5 & Series X so I have access to BFI settings for those? BFI being OLED Motion Pro.

@Flaming_Kaiser it's a terrible thing. I hope this doesn't become the new normal for Collector's editions from now on. I respect the will power to wait for a discount. My backlog is huge. But I'll still buy this day 1 😂😂.

I've yet to try 40fps mode on any games. By the time the features get added (Ratchet & Clank, HFW) I'm already done with the games. Mabey a few years from now when I decide to re-visit some of these games, I'll get to see what 40fps is about...

A voucher code for the collector's editions, seriously? I bought the God Of War (2018) Stone Mason Edition and it came with a physical copy of the game. I was going to do the same with Ragnarok, but now I'll get the standard PS5 version. Sony pulled this crap with Horizon Forbidden West also! Oh well, smh I'll spend that extra money towards other games...

A good selection of games this month. But not for me since I already have Crash 4 for Switch, PS5, & Series X. I also have Man of Medan for Xbox but it will be nice to have it for Playstation, I suppose.

@AverageGamer yeah, I guess if you need a smaller screen it's fine. The G7 was my first gaming monitor. It had all the features I needed for my Series X & PS5. The price was good too (or so I thought). I'm glad I returned it and bought the OLED instead 😂.

@AverageGamer The new G7 which is 4K. I believe the old G7 is 1440p. I bought the new one in April from Best Buy, it was on sale for $700 after taxes. I ended up returning it and replacing it with a 48" C1. The specs are close and the G7 cost $200 less...

It's looks nice but it's definitely overpriced for what you get. For $900 you can get a 48" LG C1 OLED and this monitor doesn't even compare to that! The 27" Samsung G7 gaming monitor I replaced with the C1 has all the same features this monitor has 4K, HDR, 144hz, VRR, ect. And it cost $700. But I know it's the monitor made for PS5 so that's why it costs more. I hope to hear some info on the rumored Dualsense Pro controller though...

RE2, RE3, & RE7 all run at 4K with checkerboard on PS5 & Series X in both ray-tracing and 120fps mode. And 1440p on Series S, confirmed by Digital Foundry. So idk where you got 1080p with battered visuals from 😝. All the games look amazing on my Series X & PS5 on both my 77" & 48" LG C1 tv's. Of course I play games on my tv's in game mode because that's what it's for and the image quality looks amazing! I see that you adjust the sharpness and use super resolution settings which I use neither. I personally prefer 120fps mode for all 3 RE games, it's so smooth with VRR enabled and it makes movement and aiming much more responsive. There is a YouTube channel on what settings should be used for the LG C1 for PS5 & Series X to get the best picture quality out of game mode. But to each is own when it comes to that... here is the link anyway, if you want to check it out and see if it makes game mode more enjoyable for you 😁...
