Resident Evil Requiem Is in Demand, Reaches 1 Million Wishlists

I've wish listed the game. Personally, I cannot wait...

I haven't really properly played a Resident Evil since the remake of the first. I'd love to see what this is all about.

Just give us the damn pre-order date (for physical) already! I'll be all over a collectors edition of this game.

Nope, but I've added it to my Steam wishlist, to purchase later on after a discount.

There is no need to add it to my PlayStation wish list, because I will be picking up a physical copy day 1! So hyped! RE Code Veronica Remake next, please.

Loved Resis 7/8, super keen to see where they take the series next.

@Oram77 I'll take RE0 also, but I hope they add local and online co-op to it. Personally, I was not a fan of swapping back and forth between two characters and having to manage both inventory slots. It was very cumbersome and took me out of the experience.

@DTfearTheBEARD The one thing they need to change in a RE0 remake, either get rid of the hook shot or make it a key item instead.

Looks great the last few resident evil games have been amazing except the resident evil 3 remake which was just average but I expect this game be amazing resident evil 4 remake is probably the best resident evil game ever made for me

It's so crazy to me that we live in a time when Capcom is pumping out actual survival horror Resident Evil games on a regular basis. Not to mention the resurrection of Silent Hill. It's just a great time to be a horror fan now.

Still think it should be written Re9uiem since VIllage was 8. Unless someone tells me this isn't 9, in which case that would just be stupid. 🤪

I hope you are correct - I really want a remake of Code Veronica. Aside from 2, it was my favourite of the original games and included some great characters (I didn't even dislike Steve once you learned what he had been through). But, it is looking its age really badly now and a remake could be very kind to it.

Didnt watched the trailer or gameplay whatsoever neither will watch any trailer in future; going in blind for this one

@Rich33 The worst thing about CVX (part from Steve) you can easily get soft locked, especially when you change from Claire to Chris, so hopefully they can change that in a remake.

Horrible feeling that the Capcom showcase is going to show the same footage and have “you can look forward to more news in the coming months”

@BusyOlf Nah it's going to be footage from the upcoming demo. don't forgot how iconic the demo was for RE7.

Not surprised. It's one of the biggest franchises in gaming and the last 2 mainline games, as well as the 2 and 4 remakes (3 remake was disappointing but still a fun game) have been fantastic

I didn't know that you could (I played it multiple times but it was a time ago) - what causes the soft lock?
The only thing I can think of is if you dont have enough ammo for the tyrant on a plane fight.

@Rich33 Yeah the Tyrant fight is one incident, like I said above when you switch from Claire to Chris if you don't put the weapons in the box they stay with the person you left....

Ah - Im the sort that would only take what I needed, so probably wouldn't fall into that too often. But as you say, yes Im sure they will probably handle it differently in a remake.

Prepare to escape death in a heart-stopping experience that will chill you to your core.

Much scarier than RE7? Heck yeah CAPCOM.

Can this top 8? If it does in anyway it will be an instant classic.

@DonkeyFantasy I had that on the Wii it was great i remember the days of time crisis on the original playstation and time crisis 2 it was great having a gun back in those days

I already have the on my wishlist but this thing companies do "x amount of players wishlist our game" celebration don't mean d1 sales or pre orders some ppl have the games on the wishlist and only buy the game many months later
