I had to redownload Dreams to try it out and it's pretty awesome. I've now fallen down the rabbit hole of DreamSurfing.

I've played Quantum Error and you can tell that there was effort put into it, but unfortunately it's not very good. This looks like it will have a similar outcome. My friend is looking forward to this, so I hope he's not disappointed.

After a bit of a break I'm back on Cronos: The New Dawn. Absolutely loving the atmosphere. It's also co-op evening, so I'll be playing Coral Island.

I actually started playing this again yesterday, after putting it on hold for a couple of months. It's really hooked me and makes me question why I stopped playing it. I love the sense of isolation.

@Propaperpusher If you played the game for more than 30 minutes then you'd know that you can upgrade your inventory slots. 🤷‍♂️

@Frmknst It depends on the developer/publisher. Just because one company is disappointed when their game doesn't sell it millions, it doesn't mean another company can't be happy to sell 500,000 copies of their game.

I went into it expecting to not enjoy the dispatch segments, but ended up enjoying pretty much everything about the game... Except the wait for new episodes! I gave it an 8.

On Switch 2 I should hopefully be finishing Luigi's Mansion. If I do I'll be moving onto Donkey Kong Bananza. Plus a bit of Mario Kart World on the side.

On PS5 I'm playing Where Winds Meet. It definitely has issues, but overall I'm enjoying it.

I like the more realistic look of this one. Their previous games look fantastic, but graphically they all look identical. I'll give it a go. I couldn't get into Genshin Impact or Honkai: Star Rail, but adored Zenless Zone Zero, so be interesting to see where I land on this.

The quality of free to play games atm really impresses me. You could play nothing but free to play games and still be completely satisfied.

Should also be playing some co-op Coral Island later as well.

It's weird to me that in the statement they try to spin it as a positive thing.

This is the sort of live service game Sony should be putting on PS5. I think this would do better than Marathon and it'll 100% do better than Concord did!

@KawakiisaFraud All you need to do is look at the PS5's sales figures to see that Sony are selling plenty of consoles, despite releasing games on PC for the last few years.

Can you really call the dispatch sections a mini game? It takes up quite a big portion of each episode.

Going to download this the second it becomes available (10pm Friday apparently). I'm hoping it hooks me like Wuthering Waves did. It really impresses me how much you can get out of free to play games without having to buy anything. I put over 80 hours into Wuthering Waves and didn't spend a penny. I also got the platinum trophy for Throne and Liberty and spent nothing.

And of course it's another bad month for Premium subscribers. I don't expect any different anymore.

I don't have a PC and my phone isn't good enough to run this, so I'd like to see a PS5 release. Surely Sony has seen the success of games like Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves on console, so they must at least be considered a PS5 release.

@Batesy125s If you want to get started now then try the demo. It's 7 hours long and your save carries over to the main game.

Oooh, I'll get to this tomorrow. I'm really interested to see how it ends.

I'm just happy to hear more from the game. It has been so long that I was concerned it had been cancelled.

Can't wait. Loved Chapter 1. One of my favourite games released this year.

This doesn't bother me as much as how the games installation works. It's a mess.

Really looking forward to Where Winds Meet. I've enjoyed several free to play games recently (I absolutely adore Wuthering Waves), so I'm hoping I can also get into this with out any of the usual free to play faff getting in the way.

I'm still playing my PS4 backlog. I started Rage 2. I'm also playing Minecraft: Story Mode on the side. I'm trying to finish one episode a day. I'm enjoying going back and playing older games.

I'll also be playing Coral Island co-op.

Damn it! I booked a week off work for its May release!

I went with 8. I wasn't a fan when I played the Server Slam solo, but I bought the game to play co-op with my brother and we're both really enjoying it. I like how friendly the community is. We've bumped into a lot of friendly players and only a couple that have tried to kill us on sight.

Any word if this has multiplayer? I enjoy these types of games when I play them with other people, but would never play them on my own.

BioShock Infinite. I finished the main campaign last night and am now currently making my way through the Burial At Sea DLC. I've not played the game since it released back in 2013, so the DLC is new to me. I'm really impressed with how well the game holds up.

I owned the Mega Drive version growing up. I have fond memories of it, so it'll be interesting to see how well it holds up.

According to the overview page One is also available on the Switch Eshop. Is that right?

@themightyant You'd hope, but Microsoft know that the game will sell, so I reckon it'll be at least £49.99. Hi-Fi Rush is another game with a fairly short single player campaign and that's £28 on the PlayStation Store, so who knows, maybe Microsoft could charge under £30 for Halo as well, but I doubt it.

I agree that it should be a trilogy release. Having said that, will I buy each individual game the day they're released? Yeah, probably.

I think I'll be playing some PS1 horror games on my CRT this year. Resident Evil 2, Clock Tower and Parasite Eve.

Had a look through my backlog for something to play and landed on Mirrors Edge Catalyst. I've only played for little over an hour so far, but it seems like it's going to be good.

Like it or hate it, this will become the norm in the future. I don't really think it's that much different than a developer choosing to use Unreal or Unity to make their game, instead of creating their own engine. It's just another tool to make game development easier.

Definitely interested in this, but I'm trying not to buy any games atm. I have a feeling I'll end up buying it on a whim though.

I think what they should do is give Dirge of Cerberus the Crisis Core treatment.

@themightyant I'm just using Rover, Chixa and Baizhi. I'm not really that interested in getting lots of characters, I'm just happy to use the trial characters throughout the story.

@themightyant Just done the quest "The Maiden, The Defier, The Death Crier". Definitely one of the best games I've played this year.

Still playing Wuthering Waves. Coming up to 60 hours of playtime and it's still a game I look forward to playing when I get home from work.

That's a shame, I was hoping it would pull a Dead Island 2 and turn out to be really good. Was considering getting this to play during my 16 days off, but now I'll probably wait for a sale.

I'll be playing more Wuthering Waves. I'm pretty addicted to it. I'll also be playing Battlefield 6 and Sea of Thieves with my 3 brothers. It's not often we all game together, so looking forward to it.

It'll have to try harder than that to pull me away from Wuthering Waves!

I've spent the last few hours playing the campaign and have enjoyed it quite a bit. I haven't played a military FPS since Modern Warfare 2, so I don't mind that it does nothing new.

I watched my brother play it yesterday and the gameplay looked boring. Definitely looks the part though.

Today I'll be making some progress in Silent Hill f and playing Coral Island in co-op. Tomorrow I'll be playing Borderlands 4 in co-op.

High 7 for me. I'm enjoying it, but I miss the actual town of Silent Hill and the more modern setting.

I completely forgot Horizon Forbidden West existed. When I saw Death Stranding 2 get the second spot I couldn't think what game could possibly look better.

I do want it, but I can't bring myself to buy it day one. I think it's because both Rise of the Ronin and Assassin's Creed Shadows are fresh in my mind and this just seems like more of the same.

I just want an open world Middle-Earth, is that too much to ask!?

I'm interested, but the name is terrible. It can be inspired by Parasite Eve without having to shoehorn the word parasite into the title.
