I might be in the minority, but I'm not a massive fan of the setting. One of my favourite things about the Silent Hill games, especially the Silent Hill 2 remake, was exploring the modern, rundown setting.
@Boucho11 @KilloWertz Nintendo used to let you claim Gold Points for physical games, so it's not that much of a stretch to think Sony could of done something similar.
If it's anything like the first game then I'm almost certain I'll enjoy it. I didn't agree with the 6/10 score that the first game received. I thought it was a high 7 at least.
@Cry_Zero I agree. I kinda find it baffling how Sony choose what games to release. There's so many iconic games to pick from and they just seem to be sticking to the same series'. If I was to upgrade to Premium it would be to play the PS1 games, but what's the point if it's just going to be a Twisted Metal or Syphon Filter game every month.
I had a good time with this. I went into it expecting a linear cinematic game and got exactly what I wanted out of it. I know it has it's issues, but I don't think the cinematics and the cast were one of them.
My PS5 has taken a back seat to Switch 2 atm. Currently playing through Yakuza 0 Director's Cut with Mario Kart World on the side. It's actually nice to play games without trophies.
Switch 2 mostly. Been playing Wind Waker for the past week and loving it. Collecting all the Triforce pieces atm and I'm finding it quite enjoyable. I can see why some people don't like it, but I'm having fun exploring all the islands. Just wish Tingle didn't charge so much to decipher the maps!
I've never been a fan of how Push Square refer to themselves as "we". It makes it sound like all the staff aren't too keen on Gears of War, when I'm betting a lot of you like it.
Anyway I'm looking forward to playing through the campaign in co-op.
I just finished it and got the platinum trophy. I had fun with it. It's fairly basic - there isn't any melee combat, blind firing or dodge rolling. It's baffling that there are no graphics options, not that it would of been able to hit 60 FPS when it can barley manage 30! The open world is underutilized. I think the story kept me interested, but the ending was pretty underwhelming. Seems they are expecting to do a sequel because it ends on a cliffhanger.
I've been playing Zenless Zone Zero. I've always loved the look of Hoyoverse games, but find it hard to get into them, but I'm happy to say this one has clicked with me. It's like if Persona and Jet Set Radio had a baby.
Recently I've played through The First Descendent, Infinite Nikki, Throne and Liberty (even got the plat) and I'm currently playing Disney Speedstorm and Zenless Zone Zero, so it's safe to say I enjoy free to play games. I'd like to see Sony attempt a single player live service game. Ideally I'd prefer it to be a new IP and not something already established.
I really hope it drops on PS5. Free to play doesn't necessarily mean it's not going to be a good game. I recently managed to get the plat for Throne and Liberty without spending any money whatsoever, so as long as the free-to-play mechanics don't get in the way too much I should still enjoy it.
Going to try and carry on with Clair Obscura: Expedition 33. It's not really clicking with me unfortunately, so I might take a break and start something else. I'll also be playing Forza Horizon 5 and Disney Speedstorm.
It's also co-op night, so we'll be carrying on with a survival game called Oppidum.
To be honest I'm just happy to see Microsoft release games on PlayStation, regardless of how they're doing it. 3 of the best games I've played this year have been from Microsoft.
Looks like an anime... I love it. I've always thought the Trails games look good (Ys too). Falcom has a way of making their games look visually appealing, despite their dated graphics. This does look like it's in a different league than previous entries to though.
I'm perfectly fine with that. I've had less and less interest in the series the more open world it became, to the point that I never finished the third game. Looking forward to this.
I'm loving it. It's got a great feel good vibe. Probably my favourite racing game. One of the best features is the sat nav. I like how you can just select race and you're directed to the nearest race you haven't done. The Horizon Stories are good, too.
I'm not far into Act II and I'd probably give it an 8. It's good, very good, but it's not hooking me as much as I'd hoped. I find myself playing Forza Horizon 5 over it.
@GirlVersusGame Well I got all the trophies at least! Far far far from 100%ing the game. The trophies are exactly the same as the achievements on the 360 version, so complete the main quest and all guilds.

@Balaam_ Doubt it. I'm pretty sure there weren't any the last time it was meant to shut down.

@kevinm360 That song was an absolute banger.

Re: Battlefield 6 Out on PS5 This October, Tons of Gameplay Revealed in Grand Presentation
@Nepp67 Exactly. It's called a gameplay loop and every game has one to different extents.
Re: Swery65, Suda51's Wild Collab Game Hotel Barcelona Hits PS5 in September
I've never been high before, but I imagine it feels similar to watching that trailer.
Re: The Vibes Are Impeccable in This Upcoming PS5 Cosy Game
If this has full co-op multiplayer then I'm interested. I bought Fantasy Life i to play co-op with my brother and was really disappointed.

Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Extra, Premium Games for July 2025?
Do we really need more Twisted Metal games? The PS1 has some amazing games, so I dunno why Sony seems to pick the least interesting ones.
Re: PS Plus Will Make Two Twisted Metal Titles Playable in Europe for the First Time

Really enjoyed my time with this.
Re: Opinion: Diablo 4's Story Campaign Is Well Worth Playing on PS Plus
I just treated it as a single player, open world RPG and had a good time with it.
Re: The Next Tales of Remaster Could Finally Be Announced This Week
Better not be Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World!
I'm hoping for Tales of the Abyss. I had it on 3DS, but never finished it.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 587
More of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.
Co-op day, too, so I'll be playing Grand Theft Auto V tonight.

Re: Blood Message Is Uncharted Meets Ancient China, and It Looks Phenomenal
@Dan12836666 Nintendo do have the Splatoon and Super Smash Bros. games.
Re: Blood Message Is Uncharted Meets Ancient China, and It Looks Phenomenal
@Frmknst I''m sorry, but what does what you said have to do with this article? Is it because they said it's Uncharted meets ancient China?
Re: Blood Message Is Uncharted Meets Ancient China, and It Looks Phenomenal
Looks too good, but then so did Black Myth: Wukong when that was announced. These Chinese developers know how to work magic.

Re: Start Your Journey in Space Fantasy EDENS ZERO on PS5 Now
I quite liked it. Reminded me of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.
Re: Start Your Journey in Space Fantasy EDENS ZERO on PS5 Now
I'm not familiar with the anime, but I do like me a good anime action RPG, so I'll give it a go!
Re: Hands On: MindsEye Is a Boring Mess
I just finished it and got the platinum trophy. I had fun with it. It's fairly basic - there isn't any melee combat, blind firing or dodge rolling. Re: Site News: Where's Our MindsEye PS5 Review?
I'm actually quite liking it. Sure it definitely has issues, but I'm having a good time with it.
Re: Site News: Where's Our MindsEye PS5 Review?
@Dan12836666 I'm no expert. It might try and go as high as 60, but if it does it never hits it. No graphics modes either.
Re: Site News: Where's Our MindsEye PS5 Review?
Seems fairly basic so far. Frame rate seems to be capped at 30 FPS, but dips fairly often.
Re: Yep, PlayStation's PC Games Will Be Playable on Xbox's New Handheld System
I would of been more interested if this was an actual portable Xbox console, rather than another handheld PC.
Re: Anime Racer Screamer Shows Real Promise in PS5 Gameplay
@sanderson72 the Hot Wheels Unleashed games had great handling, so I'm expecting this will, too.
Re: These 9+ New PS5, PS4 Games Are Coming Out Next Week (9th-15th June)
Pre-ordered MindsEye. Just seems like my cup of tea based on all the trailers.

@naruball I read that too, but I have a Pro with over 900 GB free. I'll delete it and download it again and see what happens.

@naruball I'm at work so I can't check, is it working for you now?
Re: Uh Oh, Anime Fans! There's Another Free PS5 Time Sink Out Now
Can't seem to make it past the first load screen atm.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 582
Going to play more Zenless Zone Zero and also start Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon.

Re: Play One of This Month's Most Promising PS5 Games Right Now
Didn't really enjoy the demo. I was interested in this and tbh I'm kinda glad I didn't like it as it's one less game to spend money on.
Re: Gacha Spin-Off Persona 5: The Phantom X Skips PS5 for Worldwide Launch
I'm actually pretty disappointed.
Re: Mortal Kombat Fans Are Fuming MK1's Support Appears to Be Over
Surely this is a good thing? They can now focus on their next game. 2 years of support is plenty.

Re: Xbox's Forza Horizon 5 Is Selling Extraordinarily Well on PS5, Surpasses 1.2 Million Copies Since Launch

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Clair Obscur: Expedition 33?
I'm not far into Act II and I'd probably give it an 8. It's good, very good, but it's not hooking me as much as I'd hoped. I find myself playing Forza Horizon 5 over it.
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Oblivion Remastered?
9 out of 10. I love and appreciate it more now than I did in 2006.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 579
@GirlVersusGame Well I got all the trophies at least! Far far far from 100%ing the game. The trophies are exactly the same as the achievements on the 360 version, so complete the main quest and all guilds.
