This is a tough one! I went with Oblivion Remastered, but I could of just as easily voted for Indiana Jones and Forza Horizon 5. Tell you what, Microsoft is killing it this month.
@Scouse_Pirlo Apparently a fix for that is to close the game and then load your save rather than go to continue. Not sure if that will actually work or not, but it's what I've read online.
I'd like for them to get rid of or at least reduce the texture pop in when moving between areas. It took away some of the magic of leaving the sewer for the first time.
While I do enjoy turn based Final Fantasy (VIII is one of my favourite games) I really enjoyed XVI as well. Playing Clair Obscura did make me think that Square-Enix should release Final Fantasy XIII on modern hardware though.
Yep. I'm bouncing between this and Oblivion. Really liking the combat. It's so satisfying to parry an attack. The art direction is nuts, too. Flying Waters is amazing.
Isn't someone else making a Blade Runner game, too? I remember reading an article on Push Square about one, but I don't think Supermassive Games was the developer.
Working until 2 today, then I have two days of gaming! At the moment I'm juggling Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Assassin's Creed Shadows and Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
I'm meant to be playing through Assassin's Creed Shadows so I can have it done by the time Indiana Jones and the Great Circle releases, but I've been mostly playing my Switch recently and that's probably what I'll play this weekend. I'm playing through Metroid Prime Remastered for the first time and playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the side. Hoping I can finish all my Switch games before I get my Switch 2 pre-order. I probably won't get Indiana Jones on release like I planned to.
Seems like Microsoft is trying to release all it's games on PS5 as quickly as possible, what with this, Forza Horizon 5, Indiana Jones and the potential imminent release of the Oblivion remake.
This is nothing that other developers don't do. I think that when you buy a game that states on the box that it requires an internet connection you can assume that at some point down the road it will become unplayable. It would be nice if they patched it for use offline, but not many developers do that, it's the exception, not the rule.
I've never been against Square-Enix breaking the game down into a trilogy, but after playing Rebirth I think I can say with confidence that they made the right choice. Rebirth is one of my favourite games ever. I loved Remake when it first realised.
I don't know when I'll get round to it, but I'll definitely be playing Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory at some point. The first game was a big suprise for me.
8/10 from me. The amount of things to do is quite overwhelming and I mean that in a good way. Should keep me busy until Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is released.
Move over GTA VI, The back end of the year is all about Trails for me! I have two weeks off at the beginning of November, so hopefully at least one of them will drop then.
I'll mostly be playing Assassin's Creed Shadows for the rest of the weekend, but I'll also be dipping into Throne and Liberty every few hours to get the trophies for doing the Dynamic Events and Bosses.
Saturday is also co-op day, so we'll be carrying on with Minecraft and maybe playing a few rounds of Midnight Murder Club.
I wasn't originally going to buy it day one, but there was maintenance for Throne and Liberty, so I decided to get it. Looking forward to playing more once I've shifted this ruddy headache.
@clvr What do you mean X-ray vision doing all the work for you? The game gives you vague directions and you have to find the objective on your own.
I'll be finishing off Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. Might even get the plat, which will be my first Yakuza/Like a Dragon plat. Then I have to decide what to play next. I'm leaning towards Throne and Liberty.
It's also co-op night tonight, so we'll be playing more Minecraft.
Nice. I've always been interested in this series, but there have never been demos before. I've nearly bought the remake of the first game multiple times.
Definitely looks like a step up from the Trails through Daybreak games, which I think look pretty good despite not being technically amazing. I think Falcom have a knack for creating visually appealing games despite not having cutting edge tech.

Re: Plenty of People Are Playing Expedition 33 on PS5, Despite Having to Actually Buy It
Seems like the perfect game to play on PlayStation. Reminds me of classic JRPG's like Legend of Dragoon.
Re: GTA 6 Publisher Supports Rockstar in 2026 Delay, Commits to 'Excellence'
@Dan12836666 Not exactly true anymore, what with updates.
Re: Poll: Vote for Your PS5 Game of the Month (April 2025)

Re: Iconic 90s Dating Sim Remake Dokyusei Makes Surprise Appearance on PS4
I had no idea what this was, but I decided to try the demo and like what I played. Definitely going to grab it when it's on sale.
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Forza Horizon 5 on PS5?
Yep I'm playing it. To me it's such a feel good game. I love just driving around listening to the radio.
It's also pretty impressive when it used my Microsoft account to know my name.
Re: PS Plus Essential Games for May 2025 Announced
Typical! I not only bought ARK: Survival Ascended for myself a few weeks ago, but I also brought a copy each for my brother and his girlfriend.
Re: Sony's Long Anticipated Lost Soul Aside Has Been Delayed Again on PS5, PC
Aww, I was literally telling my brother a few hours ago how much I was looking forward to it. August seems so far away!

I'm loving it. I was really impressed when it used my Microsoft account to know my name.
Re: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered (PS5) - The Largely Fantastic Revival of a Landmark RPG
I'm loving it. I used to think Skyrim was better, but this remaster reminds me how ahead of Skyrim Oblivion actually was.

I get that. After working on a game for several years it's probably nice to move onto something fresh.

Re: Not Everyone Loved Oblivion Remastered's Shadow Drop
Post Trauma is £11.99. it's cheap enough that if someone wants it then they'll buy it despite already buying Oblivion Remastered.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 578
Not back at work until next Saturday, so I'm bouncing between Clair Obscura: Expedition 33 and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Indiana Jones and the Great Circle?
8 out of 10. Really enjoyed it, but it reminded me how much I miss the Uncharted games.

Well.. this came out of nowhere.
I have 9 days off from Thursday. Looks like I chose the right week.

Re: Oblivion PS5 Remaster Is Real as New Screenshots Leak
I don't like that they seemed to of toned down the green. I was hoping it would be like Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

More PlayStation for me!
It's also co-op day and we'll be starting Ark: Survival Ascended.

Comes out the day my 9 days off starts. What a happy accident that was!
Re: PS5 vs Switch 2: Full Tech Specs Comparison
This is all jargon to me. I'm interested to see if Cyberpunk 2077 will look and run closer to the PS4 version than the PS5 version.
Re: The Best Yakuza Game's Getting a Director's Cut, But Not on PS5 or PS4
I must be a sicko then because the English dub makes this a buy for me if I get a Switch 2.

Going retro this weekend!

The trailer sold me on this. Doesn't hurt that the price is reasonable, too.
Re: Split Fiction Duo Beat Gruelling Hidden Level, Get to See Hazelight's Next Game Early
Hazelight can do no wrong it seems. Can you imagine a world if all videogame developers were like them?!
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Split Fiction?
9/10 from me. Fantastic game, but A Way Out is still my favourite.
