It's also worth pointing out that, as of season 6, everyone needs to connect to an Epic Games Account. Cross-progression is now enabled, much like Rocket League and Fortnite. Actual cross play (not just custom games) is coming sometime this season. Switch and Xbox still don't have a release date, but they confirmed it's not launching this year.

Sammy, forgive my ignorance, but I'm very confused right now. When I check Ghost of Tsushima's page on my PS4 right now there's only one expansion option: the Director's Cut upgrade, which includes the Iki Island Expansion. There's no mention of a second purchase of a PS5 upgrade. Is it because I'm checking on PS4?

@AFCC How long have you not played the game? They've actually been updating the graphics in the past few months. The difference is very noticeable. Here's an example: https://youtu.be/IS0zfiH4faM They're even updating character models. And the menus have been changed a fair amount as well

I don't see this as good news. Online modes shoehorned into single player games usually aren't good. And unfortunately "It's CD PROJEKT Red, they'll be fine" doesn't cut it anymore.

It's one of my favorite PS4 games. Really loved it from start to finish. Legends was a huge surprise and a lot of fun too! But now I'm wondering, we don't often see sales figures for PlayStation games. It'd be nice to see a list of best selling PS4 games now that the generation is "over". Is there such a list? I mean, obviously it'd full of CoDs and FIFAs, but I'm more interested in the first party stuff

Exclusive or not, all Bethesda games being available on game pass is HUGE. It's a good thing Microsoft is stepping up after last generation's relative failure.

Most games are happy to break 1M, this is so ridiculous it's hard to even grasp the scale

What a bummer, I'm looking forward to both of them. That being said, I guess that means I'll be able to buy a PS5 in time for the releases and get the better versions.

Let me just say that this list of games alone is VERY solid. It's not yet confirmed, but IF Overwatch 2 releases this year I'm gonna be all over it. Other than that: Horizon, GoW and Cyberpunk when they finish the game!

I went hard on the last Rocket League pass and got all the rewards. It was great, the items were awesome and I had a good time. I wasn't playing any new single player game at the time. But now I'm kinda lacking the energy to do it all over again for the new season. I've basically given up on Overwatch events as well. I think the only game I won't miss on any event or ranked season is Pokémon, other than that it's whatever I feel like

@Onion didn't the developers of Shadow of War admit that the game's loot boxes ruined the game's balance and removed it entirely?

I'm curious to see what score you'll end up giving it. It really is a shame the game released in this state. I'll gladly wait for the actual PS5 version, and maybe even for the expansion. CDPR may have lost a little clout with this rough launch, but I have faith they'll fix most problems, at least on current gen. I don't even have a PS5 yet, but after Tlou2 and Ghost of Tsushima on PS4 this year, I'll just wait to play anything else on PS5 eventually.

I wonder what does this mean for backward compatible PS VR games once PSVR2 launches. I don't have PSVR, but I'm definitely getting the new version whenever it releases on PS5. I just assumed all PS4 games would work on the new headset with the new camera, but now I'm not so sure. Hopefully it's all compatible, as it'd be kinda silly to buy a new PSVR and missing out on the PS4 VR games that supposedly wouldn't be compatible.

That's a HUGE no from me. This is beyond ridiculous. I was thinking of maybe buying Miles Morales on PS4 before getting my PS5 later down the line. That would definitely stop me from getting it, and any other game with free upgrades. It kills the purpose of the feature.

I agree. And hey, games are going on sale mere months after release nowadays, even playstation exclusives.

This really feels like "We're gonna say we added this much new stuff to the game to justify them paying for it again." Meanwhile, Xbox's exclusives are getting the same upgrades and still be "free". I don't want to be that guy, I love this game, I'll get a PS5. But this, much like Control, doesn't feel good.

A playtime counter should be a system wide feature, like Nintendo does. It's such a small thing, but I personally care so much for it. Hopefully PS5 has it from the very beginning
