I know it's unlikely at this point, but an expansion (or just a hard mode update) for Dragon's Dogma 2 would be awesome.

Not to mention Mifune portrayed Miyamoto Musashi in a trilogy of classic films.

Imagine a new, mega budget single player (or co-op) campaign, with a multiplayer mode, set in an original universe from the creators of Halo. God damn, it seems so obvious.

It seems like a game to pick up in a few years for £3.99 and be like... "Huh, wasn't so bad."

Some top-notch butt-rendering on the main character.
Between this, SHF and (maybe?) Sinking City 2, it's looking like the darker months of 2025 will be full of quality horror.

Im not sure what their strategy is here. Microsoft is tapping into the Playstation market with twice as many potential customers than their own console, then pricing their games at a level that completely turns them off. If Doom flopped, what hope does this have? Is it just to make gamepass look good? The sad thing is, Obsidian will take the heat for it.

@lindos lol. Sure, but that's discounting the money saved on all the other games I would play. 6 more full-priced new releases and I'd break even for that year. Sub for a month when there's a few of them out. Then there's the back-catalogue which puts ps plus to shame.

Its actually making me consider buying an xbox. Apart from KCD2 and AC: Shadows (which was naff anyway) pretty much every game I've played so far this year has been on the gamepass. Indiana Jones, Oblivion and Clair Obscur on there now, Doom in a few weeks... that's £235 on ps store just for those 4.

AC: Unity is the one I'm waiting for. By far my favourite in the series and a super smooth PS5 version will finally complete the redemption arc.

As for Far Cry, I really liked 5 and hated 6. Haven't played the others. Based on this, would anyone recommend picking up 4?

I'm still in the middle of KCD2's hardcore mode so probably a month or two down the line for me. Maybe a bit of Indiana Jones and Doom in between. Def looking forward to it as I loved Oblivion back in the day.

Remember when Veilguard had 80k players on steam and was therefore really successful? Yeah.... I don't buy these stories until the dust has settled or there's some actual sales figures.

It made a great first impression, but I'm liking Shadows less as I get further in and the repetition starts to grate. Just more tasks for cookie cutter characters I won't remember an hour from now. Oh, for an Ass Creed that rolls credits under 20 hours again.

It's a good sign for the game tbh.

The global illumination tech makes the world look stunning. I usually struggle to tell the difference tbh, but this looks like a clear quality mode game.

Tried the demo. I find it a bit hard to reconcile the traumatised gangster from Yakuza Zero with this wacky pirate dude who has magic powers.

It's a wonderful game. Very immersive and creepy. Great sense of progression when building up your car too. Just wish there was more of it which, hopefully depending what this next update is, is not too far away.

Unless the reviews are stellar, this one can wait a while.
I hope they've improved the p*ss-poor voice acting for npc's.

Finished it yesterday. Utterly fantastic game. A well deserved 10/10. Bring on hardcore mode!!

Max Payne was my favourite when I was a kid. Can't wait to see the remakes and quietly hoping for Sam Lake's beautiful mug for Max.

It's interesting in games that individual creators aren't valued and followed more than companies. Maybe apart from Kojima. Like you don't go see a Chris Nolan film and think "damn, what are Universal going to do next?" No. You wanna see the next Nolan film. We should look forward to the new games from the talented people who made them, not the zombie brand names they left behind. Eg. Exodus from the Mass Effect creators, not whatever Bioware scraps out.

Had this on Dreamcast. Really loved the concept but always got a bug where a certain location wouldnt appear on the overworld map and that was that. Would pick up a remaster for sure.
