I've read rumours that it's KCD devs Warhorse Studios working on it...... Probably safe hands to avoid a Rings of Power style atrocity.

Are there any recomendations for gaming novelisations? Maybe an article idea Pushsquare. The only one I've ever read is Bioshock: Rapture a few years back. It was okay, a bit of Rand-lite that tied together the first 2 games and gave some interesting backstory on the buliding of Rapture.

Looks like a nine year old in underwear, but has the voice of a thirty-seven year old. Yeah... anime.

The dark horse of the series. Rough around the edges but with so much heart. Fell off the series hard with Infinite Wealth, but happy to see a remake of 3 and looking forward to shedding some more manly tears.

Unless this is across the board 10/10 stuff, will be leaving it for a while.
Enjoyed the Silent Hill 2 remake mostly, but killing 350 of 3 different enemy types while dying zero times on a first playthrough isnt exactly what I look for in this kind of game, and kills any desire to replay it.

We know the gear and loot crap is vital for implementing the full scope of microtransactional opportunities.

And having a thinly veiled Ubisoft as a big unethical corp is a bit too close to the bone these days.

That said, get the sailing right (it was already) and I'm there.

They were releasing the base edition for under £50. So does the price go up, or stay the same with the classes added?
Also didn't Like A Dragon have character classes (or jobs) as day 1 dlc?
Anyway, hope they get it cleared up as the game looks way better than expected otherwise.

How about the option to have the game not force me to lose easy fights? Or some sort of plot progression?
As a Dreamcast fan since 2001 the squandered opportunity of this game, after a 17 year wait, boils my blood.

@Oram77 Nice I just passed 300 hours on it last week, which makes it my 5th most played PS game ever just 6 months after release. That kind of playtime usually means multiple playthroughs over several years for me!

The next KCD2 expansion is meant to be revealed, hopefully with a release date!

@James_42 I think the difference is, nobody really loves Remedy games for the gameplay. (And I say this as a huge fan since Max Payne 1).

@AverageGamer when I was a kid, there were only 3 movies. And they were all great. Now there's 12 movies and 8 seasons of TV . . . and most of them aren't very good. I think Disney has absolutely run the brand into the ground with quantity over quality. Se also: Marvel.

Oh wow. Hellraiser 2 broke me as a kid... the mattress scene.... Anyway, the red band trailer in the website shows they aren't shying away from the sexual aspect... Looks very authentic. This could do for Hellraiser what Rogue City did for RoboCop. Can't wait.

Looks great. Really sold by the presentation... Atsu seems cool. But a checklist where you choose what to check first? It's just not listed until you find clues? Okay. I suppose it's a bit different from just having question marks in the map.

I was a bit cold in this initially. No Jin etc. But then is the original Ghost the best samurai game ever? I think it might be... Let's see what this one has to offer. Then DL the directors cut and finally play through Iki Island.

Replayed Mafia 3 a few months ago. Liked it a lot more with the DLC missions in there to break up the grind (thanks ps plus). Will wait for reviews on this one though.

I actually have the platinum for the first one. Just stick on podcasts and do some deliveries, entire map zip-lined.

I know it's unlikely at this point, but an expansion (or just a hard mode update) for Dragon's Dogma 2 would be awesome.

Not to mention Mifune portrayed Miyamoto Musashi in a trilogy of classic films.

Imagine a new, mega budget single player (or co-op) campaign, with a multiplayer mode, set in an original universe from the creators of Halo. God damn, it seems so obvious.

It seems like a game to pick up in a few years for £3.99 and be like... "Huh, wasn't so bad."

Some top-notch butt-rendering on the main character.
Between this, SHF and (maybe?) Sinking City 2, it's looking like the darker months of 2025 will be full of quality horror.

Im not sure what their strategy is here. Microsoft is tapping into the Playstation market with twice as many potential customers than their own console, then pricing their games at a level that completely turns them off. If Doom flopped, what hope does this have? Is it just to make gamepass look good? The sad thing is, Obsidian will take the heat for it.

@lindos lol. Sure, but that's discounting the money saved on all the other games I would play. 6 more full-priced new releases and I'd break even for that year. Sub for a month when there's a few of them out. Then there's the back-catalogue which puts ps plus to shame.

Its actually making me consider buying an xbox. Apart from KCD2 and AC: Shadows (which was naff anyway) pretty much every game I've played so far this year has been on the gamepass. Indiana Jones, Oblivion and Clair Obscur on there now, Doom in a few weeks... that's £235 on ps store just for those 4.

AC: Unity is the one I'm waiting for. By far my favourite in the series and a super smooth PS5 version will finally complete the redemption arc.

As for Far Cry, I really liked 5 and hated 6. Haven't played the others. Based on this, would anyone recommend picking up 4?
