A prominent member of Kingdom Come: Deliverance developer Warhorse Studios has just joined CD Projekt Red to work on The Witcher 4.
Karel Kolmann was part of the Czech outfit for just over eight years, and took on some important roles during that time. Primarily, he was a gameplay designer, but also acted as a writer and scripter.
Most recently, he was lead gameplay designer on the incredibly well received Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, which launched earlier this year, and was rightfully praised for its deeply immersive gameplay elements.

At CDPR, Kolmann will be a senior quest designer — as confirmed in his latest social media post.
It's looking like the Polish company's snagged a good one here, given Kolmann's experience and clear expertise.
The Witcher 4 is well into development at this point, but we still don't have a concrete release window. We last saw the game several months back, when CDPR partnered with Unreal Engine to showcase an impressive tech demo running on PS5.
How do you think The Witcher 4 is shaping up, based on what we know? Eagerly await more news in the comments section below.
