Would love a remaster for PS5 at this stage.

It has to be either a tax write off or money laundering scheme at this stage. Beyond Good & Evil 2 is sadly never coming out.

How does an independent studio even afford to pay its staff wages when they've spent so long making a single title and have no other income? It feels like vapourware at this point and still sounds a long way off.

Good. There is no rush to next gen considering it doesn't feel like we've even fully harnessed the power of the PS5.

@Max_the_German Apparently they didn’t pay to feature their trailer. The Game Awards producers just really liked it.

I don't understand why they couldn't have delayed the Pro until this update was ready. It would have saved a lot of exhausting discourse and been a much better PR story for Sony. Though I suppose we are getting closer the launch of PS6.

Excited for this but I'll likely hold off for a bit. I'm not sure why they've released it so close to the I-II remakes.

I'm not a MH fan but it's actually disrespectful they've waited this long for such a significant performance patch. Fans have been crying out for it for months.

The irony of Rockstar turning into the very company the GTA games used to parody.

It's a shame they seem so incredibly greedy and ruthless with their staff. They are one of, if not the, most financially secure video game developers out there.

Maybe they could get one game out before considering another.

I wish they'd just get on with re-revealing it or else announcing its release date.

I’ve played a lot of games to completion and have yet to get a single Platinum. I’ve just never felt the desire. A lot of them seem to amount to busy work or tedium and I’d rather just play another title.

What I wouldn't give for a HD version or remake of Populous. A pity it's in EA's bin of abandoned IP.

The combat looks just like FFXVI. Depends on reviews but I'll probably wait for a deep discount or for it to end up on PS Plus/Gamepass.

Now imagine how much they could be selling with a few first party single player games.

Does anyone know what the PS4 had sold at the same stage for comparison? PS5 sales seem to have largely mirrored its trajectory so far.

I can't wait to pick this up in 12 months time when the game is finished and €20.

This is such PR nonsense. The games of the PS Extra service in particular have been really poor lately with more getting removed than added each month.

It goes to show how incredibly talented he is to it all done within four hours. His voicework in the game is excellent.

I know it's trendy to bash Xbox on this site but it's actually a really worrying path for Playstation fans if there's no competition to keep prices competitive and a steady stream of quality first-party titles.

When this title alone has now pocketed Microsoft an extra $72m (1.2m x $60) then it's hard to argue with their multiplatform approach.

Nintendo having a patent on creatures offering players the ability to glide is insane. Will they be trying to patent gliding with a glider next as it infringes on Zelda?

I'll probably sign up to Ubisoft+ to try it out, not the biggest fan of the AC series but Shadows looks super promising.

As someone who's not a huge fan of the franchise I must say this is looking incredible. Think I'll give Ubisoft+ a 1 month trial to check it out.

So many great deals here. Doom and Wolfenstein are essentials at that price if you're a shooter fan, same with Rayman and Spyro for platformers.

Would Push Square consider a better format, perhaps a table, for sharing this information like this? It's something your sister sites like NintendoLife do really well. The walls of text are quite dense and not super digestible.

I'm expecting it to be 35 minutes of live service slop, followed by 5 minutes of cinematics for AAA releases that are releasing in 2029.

Game execs take note: You don't spend to $200m on a game. You just need to deliver a solid, single player experience for a reasonable budget and profit will follow, even if sales aren't astronomical.
