@MrMagic Indy has 4m players according to the figures Microsoft released this week. They've said it's a huge success but its playerbase is mostly on GamePass.

I'm really sure Hoyo settled for $20m to "offer" transparency to players, not just because they were worried about being fined many multiples of that amount.

Sony's strategy of trying to turn strong single player IPs into live-service nonsense has been so wildly misguided.

Heads at the top should roll but sadly it's just the developers who will lose their jobs.

Having seen how this generation has performed I wouldn't be in any rush to get a PS6 and will likely wait a few years after its released. It feels like we're pretty much at peak technology and generational leaps are now much more minor.

With all the recent price rises, I'm starting to feel Sony are really fleecing consumers. Not having any viable competitor is really not good for gamers and is only going to make them more complacent.

This honestly just looks largely similar to other games currently on the market? Very graphically pretty but I wouldn't say it's leaps away from most recent AAA titles.

The PS4 Pro was in announced in September 2016 and released in November 2016, still plenty of time for this unnecessary model to make it to market by the end of 2024.

It'll be exciting to finally own this on a CD-R if Limited Run are involved.

It's so bizarre that the anniversary re-release is literally done and it's just sitting on Ubisoft's servers despite already getting a partial release.

Calling this a teaser feels generous, it literally could have been for any game.

This looks great, hopefully with gameplay demos this summer a release can’t be far off…

@Haruki_NLI The Switch is actually the biggest platform Japan has ever had but either way it's a bit odd this is missing PS4.

HD-2D remakes haven't historically been the most graphically demanding titles so PS4 should be well able to run it.

Thought this looked like a day one purchase until I realised it's some live service co-op nonsense. What a pity.

I didn't think I'd be into Ghost of Tsushima but it's an absolute blast. Fun to play, great story and visually stunning. There's definitely some open-world bloat but you can totally ignore it and have a really good experience.

Curious how Rebirth sales compared to Remake. The latter launched during the height of the pandemic but digital sales have drastically increased since 2020.

Is it normal to be 4 years into development without a publisher? That seems like a worrying sign when you've no guaranteed income or way to release the game.
