Did they give an option to skip the 4 hour tutorial?

I picked this up last weekend and put a few hours in, I'm definitely diving in this weekend along with Spiderman (I traded in some Switch games I don't play anymore)

I ran the raid chest exploit a few times, got some interesting gear but definitely nothing worth writing home about. Weird how they left the chests able to be opened in the first place.....

I don't trust either side's story after reading them both. Sounds like a couple of young adults that didn't know how to work on their relationship properly and didn't have any help from their parents.

Honestly it's been fun, and the bow feels great in both pvp and pve. There is a LOT of hidden content in the Dreaming City, and the enemies have certainly been given a boost which makes things more challenging.

Definitely getting this on PC or PS4. Not trusting my platforming skills to the Switch pro controller......

For them if the actual reviewer is able to justify and project the score they've given correctly. Against them if they throw words on a screen and give something a score with no reasoning behind it. Explain the process and how you came to your score, don't just post a synopsis of what is on the game's store page in PSN. The Todd Howard "it just works" doesn't apply here

@NintendoFan4Lyf When I got my HDR up and running, Horizon was the game that really blew me away, and for $20 it's well worth it. God of war also looks amazing, and is getting a new game plus playthrough from me!

At least all of the terrible animations from Andromeda got turned into some funny memes, this puddle stuff is just sad.

@LaNooch1978 @beemo Honestly I wasn't upset with the review at all, everyone is entitled to their opinion. What was suspicious to me was that the reviewer herself had openly admitted she had burnt out on the open world genre....so why did they give this to that person for their first review?

The whole situation just reeked of throwing a sacrificial lamb to the wolves to generate clicks. That one particular review had garnered more clicks than most of their articles do over the course of a few months. If that doesn't seem weird to you, well, nothing I can say will really change that.

It's been getting so much positive press and attention (puddles be damned) that it would be a great opportunity to look for the next site that is willing to give it a low score just to get clicks. The last great one was USgamer, when they let a new hire review Horizon and....well it went pretty bad. But hey, they got their clicks, right

I mean, regardless of the platform it's still an early access, barely functional cash grab. The amount of people I hear at work complaining about lag, damage numbers, hackers, etc and my only response is "stop playing the game then".

@rjejr I blocked him awhile ago, seems like he has quite a bit of leeway here compared to others when it comes to harrassing people and name calling. Better to just not see all the junk he gets away with and move on.

@get2sammyb I'm not looking to start an argument here, but do you personally have proof that no code has been altered or changed?

I have a feeling this will be the game that I finally upgrade my PC for.

I'm sure they're just using this time to prep more microtransactions and ride out the RDR2 wave, that's about it.

I'll wait to see the game for myself, but comparing the top photo to the bottom just from a phone, the top photo looks drastically better in multiple areas.

The whole time I was watching the demo, I knew this is exactly what I wanted from the new Deus Ex games when they came out in terms of how the world was built. This is going to be something special, I can feel it.

Just get the review out before the switch version launches, yeah?

My second question is, was it a metaphorical dump that people were relating to the game, and it caused mass hysteria that turned into an actual poop rumor?

I spent $150 on the X1 elite, but it also came packaged with three games. This is way, way too much for a controller on s console near the end of it's life cycle.

I backed at a higher tier, and honestly I'm not upset about the delay. Anything to prevent another mighty no 9. For Vita buyers it's a pain, but at least they're offering refunds or transfers.

So are people going to boycott this since it came out on two other platforms before PS4? I hope not. I'll be honest, at $20 I'll buy this game again just to support the devs. The switch version turned out very well, which surprised me, but they pulled it off. I expect the PS4 version to be even better.

I'm not buying either, because I'm burnt out on open world collectathons. Too many other good games waiting in the backlog.

I've seen way more people on places like Amazon and Facebook try to sell games as "new" and then follow up in the description with "only played once or twice", how about we go after THOSE people first before the person selling an actual "new" game?

Working on the Platinum for MMX collection 1 and finally completing a run of dead cells, might play some borderlands 2 as well. Biding time until tomb raider, Mega Man 11....

@DMG361132 Actually based on the success of GTAV on PC, I honestly can't see them delaying it for more than 6 months to a year. I won't lie and say if any of my friends have it for PS4 I won't be borrowing it, but I TRIPLE-dipped on GTAV, and although I have the money to do so now, I really don't have the time to play through the same open world/MP game three times.
"What would one suck over the internet?" - a lemon preferrably, to balance out the amount of salt he clearly has about someone preferring one platform over another for certain games

@Oscarjpc No, just for PC unfortunately. Still a great deal as those are just the early unlocks and usually sell for $20 or more apiece when on sale.

Going to get the last part of whisper of the worm catalyst, solace armor, and exotic ship blueprint finished in destiny 2, then will probably play some X collection and octopath traveler.

Tempting, but I already picked up the September humble bundle with sniper elite 4 and tales of berseria.

Eh, if it's following all of the open world game tropes, count me out on day 1. I'm beyond burned out on those types of games right now.

Nah, we're done here Bioware. Give those franchises some much needed love, let someone else have them.

Even if the game is much improved now, I really hope (but sincerely doubt) they've learned their lesson in terms of not giving any of their future games the Molyneaux treatment.

Also, do we have to mention that they've received threats at every turn now, like it's not the normal thing to expect when you're on social media? I'm definitely not saying it's ok or correct, but it also doesn't make me judge their game or their actions differently. No free passes or sympathy points for that.

It all looks great, but somewhere along the line I have to take a step back and look at how many truly mind-boggling f*** ups they've made with this franchise, and my wallet goes back into my pocket.

Aloy is a good character, but compared to everything we've been through with Nate? No contest.

Some ni no Kuni 2, octopath traveler, probably some RE4 on PC with the full HD mod. It really does make the game look great, worth another playthrough for sure!

I already know this game is going to be fantadti, now we just need to see it sell very well so we can get RE3 Remake!

The older model PS4 Gold Headset that I've had for a couple years has unfortunately lost its wireless capability, the battery only lasts about a half hour now. Still, a very nice headset, nothing a 10 foot USB cord can't fix.

I have those steelseries for my PC, they are very, very good! Highly recommended.

So whether or not England wins, next weekend's WAYP will be cleaning up after the riots, right

I bought the first one at $20 and feel like I was robbed, this series is dead to me at this point if they did one step forward two steps back.
