I'm curious as to how they plan on justifying the normal price tag without including a single player campaign. I'm not seeing a wealth of extra MP content. They're not hiring A-list actors for roles in a campaign, so they had better include a HELL of a lot more MP modes and maps if they're going to charge full price. And no, a BR mode doesn't count as a mode, because it's a fad, and they could very easily make a standalone free to play BR COD game and just charge $40 for this.

My condolences to everyone except Cliff, who has flip-flopped more than xbox one has in the past decade. Gears of War was your flash in the pan sir, time to retire and not draw anyone else into your next sinking ship.
Probably bouncing between God of War and Destiny 2. I finally got a certain gauntlet for Kratos, and i'm looking forward to testing it out on a valkyrie! In Destiny my friends and I got the exotic sword and sparrow and are now working towards the sleeper stimulant, although for me, I'm not getting the required parts needed from patrols/events for unlocking the crystals. Hopefully it's a fixable bug.....
I'm very confused at the heroic strike light level of 350. It's impossible to reach unless you spam raid runs, and the modifiers are borderline dumb. I don't mind a challenge, but if they're gonna make heroics more like night falls, the rewards better match the difficulty.
I like the first game, but it wasn't mind blowing like it seems to be for other people. Honestly I'm going to wait it out for the pc version, I really don't enjoy games like this with a controller. GTAV on PC proved that it can be worth the wait.
@ToddlerNaruto Yeah, I mean if they go back and forth between past and present, I'm ok with that. I'll still play it if it is a full blown prequel, would just prefer it not to be.
@ToddlerNaruto They left the first RDR open for so much potential for a sequel, and we already know what happens in the past that led up to it. I don't feel like it needs to be fleshed out, I'd prefer something new.
@EVIL-C Name calling is a definite sign of an immature child, so please, continue your efforts of making yourself look contradictory! Based on your comments, maybe you should just stay at NL since you're clearly one of these so called "fanbois" that you seem to detest so much. I'll wait another 4 days for you to come up with a semi-readable response
Personally I could care less if labo outsells anything, different strokes for different folks and all that. But to purposely create clickbait articles around it, in one territory, is sadly becoming the status quo at NL.
@EVIL-C Maybe you should go to Nintendolife, where they literally had a clickbait article pitting God of War against Labo in Japan? I own both systems too, and I can guarantee I've played more zelda games than you. Get off your high horse and pull that stick out of your bum, sir.
Edit: My mistake, there's two articles over there making the same comparison you lauded me for, and you're in there commenting on them
Better than EA I guess. Of all the studios to buy though, this seems to be an odd choice given their last game's mediocre response and the controversy following it.
@rjejr I already canceled it, still hadn't shipped out as of 8PM EST. I'll have to start transitioning to Best Buy from now on I guess. It's already 90% downloaded on my PS4!
I'm really fed up with Amazon in terms of game preorders. They screwed up my Fallout 4 pip boy edition, wiiu breath of the wild, and Uncharted 4. There are very, very few games I get excited for enough to want to play day one, but the ones I get from Amazon always seem to get messed up.
Good for him and his team, i'm glad all of their hard work has paid off. The world of gaming needs more of this type of dedication and less false promises and backpedaling like we've seen from the likes of.....well I'm not going to name them, but we all know who they are.
@rjejr Well, mine still hasn't shipped out. I'm gonna give it another hour and cancel it and go digital. This will be the third of fourth time Amazon has screwed up a preorder day one delivery, needless to say this will be the last time I do it.
@rjejr I did, pre-ordered back in February. Haven't checked to see if they charged the card yet, i'm going to keep an eye out for it to ship here soon. Says arriving by 8pm tomorrow thoigh
GTAV has a 97? How? It's a good game but 3 points away from perfection? What are these critics smoking? The same stuff as the critics that rated BotW nearly perfect? Kudos to God of War though, 4 days to go!
@RainbowGazelle Are you sure you read the same review the rest of us did? What I got out of it was excellent combat, storytelling, world building, puzzles, side quests, post game content, optional bosses, and some RPG elements thrown in for good measure, all wrapped in a beautiful package.
Getting ready to start an overpowered God of war 3 new game plus run after having powered through the first two this week! Might work on Celeste if i get GoW3 done.
Hmm, looks like I'll have to give these a chance. I briefly played one of them years ago and wasn't feeling it, but i'm willing to give them another shot.
Hopefully this is all that "leaks" so they don't get fake or unreliable story elements out, get a negative reaction from the internet, and cancel the game altogether.
@Bonbonetti Playing a 100 hour Co-op adventure of DOS2 with my friends was one of the most memorable multiplayer experiences I've ever had. There was laughter, salt, confusion, more laughter, more salt, and genuine "wtf" moments that I haven't seen elsewhere in a co-op game. Very deserving of that award!
@BranJ0 Having played through both, i'd easily give the upper hand to hollow knight. Don't get me wrong, Axiom verge is a great game, but it didn't hit me the same way hollow knight did in terms of atmosphere, combat, level design, audio, lore, and story. I'd recommend playing both without question, but hollow knight is definitely my top choice.
Finally completed my second playthrough of Hollow Knight with 106%, probably the best metroidvania I've played in a long time. I have this voice in the back of my head telling me to play through the God of War trilogy before Friday......and i think i'm giving in to it.
That.....really sucks. All of those games look fantastic to me. I already had to skip out on Ni No Kuni 2 because of far cry 5 and God of War, I definitely won't have time for a JRPG, two large open worlds and a 3D platformer trilogy in the same month!
Zen architecture would be a great thing to see in their next system. Hopefully a minimum of 12GB of RAM, 2TB hard drive, UHD drive, and of course, some level of backwards compatibility with previous systems.

Definitely more God of War, maybe some Ni no Kuni 2, and of course, avengers!

Re: Soapbox: Why God of War Will Scratch Your Zelda Itch
The amount of salt over at NL because this released the same day as cardboard is overwhelming
Honestly this game reminds me more of the past two tomb raider reboots in terms of exploration, and combat wise a lot like a darksiders game.
