@adf86 Companies never do HD remakes for "fan service" they do it because it's low cost/high profit for them. These are all businesses, and whether you like it or not, konami's business decisions have made them more money than if they would've kept kojima on to burn through millions while he "figured out" his vision for another half finished metal gear game.

I bought it on steam and promptly returned it after 3 matches. I guess I was hoping for something more akin to the original Sega game than a modified version of NFL Blitz. Oh well.

Sorry/not sorry, I voted for Squall. FF8 was a fantastic game growing up, and even though it hasn't aged well, I'd still pick playing that again over Knack.

I thought at this point they were just turning the FF7 remake into more FFXV DLC

I'll be playing some more Division, probably some FighterZ as well.

I'd like to see at least one more fusion character (Vegito, Gogeta, Kefla) and Pikkon for sure. Broly is a given, as is cooler.

I'm actually really surprised by that, I would've thought xenoverse 2 sold quicker. It just seemed to have a broader target audience, but apparently the fighting community has come out in force to support this. I'm all for it.

Perfect timing, I'll be neck deep in monster hunter world on PC by then. Then wait another year for RDR 2 on pc!

@dryrain Same for me. Won't deny it's a fantastic game, but i already own the PS2 and PS3 versions and have played it to death. I know we're slowly heading towards needing to pay $100 for a full game nowadays, but i just can't justify a full price triple dip on this.

I bet with his small team and little experience he created something that was better than the past two Tokyo RPG Factory games and Squeenix was like "he's gotta go".

Who would've thought a well crafted MH game would do well on larger platforms? Well, everyone did, who wasn't upset about the platform move.

Such a shame, I was hoping after Setsuna they'd make something better than average. Guess I'll just have to keep revisiting Chrono Trigger annually to get my 90's RPG fix.

@stueyd67 There is, to the point that for the past few nights I've had to wait in a queue to get in. They've made quite a few significant changes to the endgame that make it worth jumping back into. The underground expansion pack is basically destiny 2's infinite forest done correctly; you basically customize your own dungeon and run it.
I can see how a lot of people, like myself and a few friends, have jumped from Destiny 2 to this, looking for a good squad based game with decent gunplay.

Pretty sad that they've been working on Paragon for this long, only to ditch it because the other game they spent 5 years hyping up bombed at launch, so they had to carbon copy a game mode and add micro transactions. Epic is going to be in trouble when the battle Royale bubble pops; well probably not, they can just stay afloat from U4. Still, sucks that the PVE part of fortnite is also suffering because of this.

FighterZ and The Division for me, which has definitely gotten better since I played it a year ago. I kinda wish they would've gotten the 1.8 update out before Destiny 2 launched, i probably wouldn't have bought it.

This is definitely a "one more run" type of game. Excellent controls, plenty of challenge, lots of upgrades, overall a great game.

Usually when I watch a video on YouTube, the actual product looks way better once I get the actual game on my TV in 4K, so i don't know how these people are claiming it looks worse when viewing it through a streaming media player....

I'll be looking forward to this in August for PC, I have a lot of friends interested who have never played a monster hunter game before and are looking for a challenge.

I'm honestly surprised you're just now figuring this out, I feel like I heard about this over a month ago and thought to myself "oh it's edgy, like when kids used to say rulz instead of rules"

I had a good time with this game as a kid, agreed that it hasn't aged well. When I got it, I had only seen DBZ through the frieza saga at the time, so I had no idea who 3/4 of the characters were!

It's a shame, but honestly drawn to death wasn't very good at all. I gave it an honest try and like others said above, several issues plagued the game that made it just not fun to play. Best of luck to those who got laid off.

Meh, not worth it. Games and systems go on sale so often for so cheap nowadays, all that's required to save a bit of money is some patience.

Looking forward to this, glad to see they actually put some time and effort into the SP campaign. It would've been a shame to beautifully animate all of those fighters and not give them some dialog!

That gameplay is slick, it reminds of kingdom hearts and dark souls!

Still playing Divinity original sin 2, such a long game! Will probably get in some golf story, and started a dark souls 3 playthrough last night as well.

@BAMozzy worst mistake I ever made with arkham knight was to stop playing with less than 100 riddles left. I came back 6 months later to finish it and I had absolutely no idea where to look or what I was doing :/

I'm thinking about getting a group together for the Division. From what I've read, it seems like a lot of the free patches and updates they've done have made it feel like it has a substantial endgame, more so than Destiny 2 could ever hope for.

Who's to say that teaser they showed awhile back isn't Demon Souls 2? Most likely it isn't, but i wouldn't complain if it was.

@manu0 I wouldn't know, i stopped visiting their site awhile ago when their writing turned to clickbait, the articles looked like they were rushed and not proofread/checked for consistency, and they started withholding reviews for developers to "fix" released games that were broken. And I've never read anything from or about Famitsu, just know their reputation for handing out high scores on everything.

I often wonder if Nintendo Life throws out as many 10s as they do in order to try and catch up to Famitsu.

Gonna go ahead and sell my PS4 copy now that the PC version has a release date. The prospect of gameplay mods and a smoother framerate is too tempting!

I mean, it's free to play on 3 platforms with a combined player base of well over 200 million, so while still impressive, they've made zero money off from it, and probably got very few sales for the mediocre PVE game it's attached to. So.....golf clap?

@naruball The place I work doesn't really have the opportunity for things to happen behind closed doors fortunately, but yeah I'm extra cautious around basically everybody at work.

This is why I keep a record of each and every conversation I have at work when using email or Skype. If, God forbid, anyone was to ever accuse me of anything, I want to have some kind of proof that my behavior doesn't match what I'm being accused of.

I'll drop every game I'm playing when this comes out. RE2 is one of my favorite games ever!
