PS Plus Essential December 2025 Poll

Don't panic, but we're somehow just days away from the beginning of December — and that can only mean one thing: It's time to weigh up the final batch of PS Plus Essential games for 2025!

Five games are up for grabs before the year comes to an end.

LEGO Horizon Adventures leads the charge — the cutesy block-based retelling of Guerrilla Games' open world property. This admittedly peculiar adaptation reviewed fairly well, and it's perhaps a good shout if you're looking to game with younger family members over the coming holidays.

In contrast, if you're looking forward to a more blood-soaked or scary Christmas, you've got frantic co-op shooter Killing Floor 3, and co-op survival horror The Outlast Trials. Let's hope you've got reliable friends...

Then, there's anime-styled romp Synduality: Echo of Ada, which seemed to fly under the radar when it launched near the beginning of the year. It's an intriguing third-person action-shooter that was met with mixed reviews — but it's benefitted from quite a few updates since.

And finally, we've got Neon White — a blistering first-person platformer that's probably worth a look if you're up for something a bit... weird (and potentially wonderful).
