If you've been wanting to sit down and watch a whole chunk of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot gameplay, then you're in luck. The ever-reliable Arekkz has fished up 27 minutes of action from Gamescom 2019, starting with Gohan's epic clash with Perfect Cell. The game's looking like a good amount of fun, but it's undeniably familiar. There are huge whiffs of the XenoVerse titles here, although we dare say that combat looks a bit more in-depth. We suppose that's the expanded RPG mechanics at play.

i LOVE that it has the original anime music in it
Hmm... seems interesting. Hopefully it covers up the the end of the Buu Saga.
Oh that is delightful.
It honestly amazes me how strong Dragon Ball games are still going. I feel like they have long since done pretty much all there is to do.
I wish they'd throw a wrench in the formula and give us like, a Dragon Ball JRPG or something off the wall like that.
I hope they make an open world MMORPG game set in the DB universe. Just like in Xenoverse 2, you would be able to create your own characters from different races.
@Vegetto They did make a legit Dragon Ball MMO, but it was never released in the U.S. or Europe etc.
Sadly it got shut down, only fan projects remain.
