While it’s unquestionably got off to a strong start with titles like Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Returnal, and Resident Evil Village, it’d be fair to say that the PlayStation 5 is still very much at the start of its life. Word from PlayStation Studios boss Hermen Hulst this week confirmed that the division has over 25 exclusives in development for the next-gen console – and third-party support is looking strong, too.
Responding to Hulst’s comments on career social network LinkedIn, PlayStation’s Head of Global Third-Party Relations had the following to say: “Just wait until you see what’s coming from our third-party partners, too.”
Naturally, the majority of these will be multiformat – although we know Sony is a big fan of timed exclusives – but a strong third-party slate is imperative to the success of any system. What kind of third-party titles are you hoping to play on PS5 this generation? Is there anything in particular you’d like to see release? Let us know in the comments section below.

"Just wait until you see what’s coming from our third-party partners"
Can any of it not be timed exclusive garbage 😅
Also for the person above I strongly disagree, I think PS5's exclusive output in it's first 6 month is one of it's best if not the best in Playstation's history. My only complaint is the price of said games otherwise it's almost 100% fantastic quality (DA being the outlier).
@Arugula im sorry to say you might have terrible taste in games because the PlayStation 5 launch is the best console launch in years.
Does ‘third-party partners’ mean games that they pay to be timed exclusives?
@nessisonett yeah you have a problem with that.
I have a problem with that. Timed exclusives are stupid on either side. Just let us play the damn game when we want to play it and on which system we want to play it.
Unless Sony heavily invested in the game, they can piss off with that timed exclusivity nonsense. That kind of practice should not be put on a pedestal.
@4kgk2 Well yes I have a problem with it. If Sony weren’t directly involved in the production of the game, what right do they have to pay off the devs so that other people on different platforms have to wait?
Wooo let's spin this into negative fake outrage.
Go
Sony/SE already sold me to FFXVI. I just want to hear more about it maybe this June
So 13 are sequels or follow ups of that 25 mentioned.
Shall we have a guessing game as to what they are.
Here's one
The Last of Us part 3.
Next?
@nessisonett third party time exclusives have been a thing since the 360 days it might be a dirt business move but at least Sony ain’t buying big third party publishers like Microsoft.
@Futureshark
Say what you want but Sony is also not afraid to stick their neck out with new, non-mainstream IP's like Death Stranding and Returnal.
Gosh so we have to complain about timed exclusives every day?
I can't stand how so many dumb people hate timed exclusives but praise absolutely horrible moves for the industry like MS buying out entire publishers and basically any developer they can. Do you really want Sony to go and do the same thing? No, 3rd party developers and publishers are better off being 3rd party and releasing content on all platforms. Nintendo could have bought up Square, Capcom, and Konami years ago when they were the only major player in the game and think of all the great games that wouldn't have been made because of it. I don't like timed exclusivity either, but eventually being able to play a game is better than never being able to play something because a conglomerate is trying to brute force control over an industry.
I hope a lot of it is next gen only to maybe start taking advantage of the new consoles as much as they possibly can atm
@Yinx people love to complain just to complain theses days it’s seem. Sony is literally doing everything a console gamer could ask for and still get s*** for it by some people it’s unbelievable.
Maybe it's a new, actually good console exclusive street fighter 6 (compared to sf5 at launch) 😃
3rd party games can sold up to 80% on playstation, so I think it will be super easy to make it exclusive and even easier to make it console exclusive.
@mucc Yeah 3rd party timed exclusive kind of suck but I prefer it compared to true exclusive. I'm still waiting for ps4/5 port of octopath traveller since I like playing long rpg on big 4K tv with console 😕
@mucc
I think it's just different goals from Sony and MS that have different business plans. You can't really hate either approach.
Sony want to fill the blanks between first party titles so go with timed exclusives. They also have the possibility to lure people to your platform.
MS are trying to sell a subscription service so need LOTS of first party content to build subscriber numbers.
To do that they need more studios developing lots of exclusive games.
Rockstar, Rockstar, Rockstar!
Would've been equally excited for a new Elder Scrolls but alas that ship has sailed, at least on PS anyway.
@wiiware but sf5 is a really good game now .
@4kgk2 Yes, but I bought it $60 digital at launch 😭
Man I really wish sony, like steam, has 2 hours return policy. It will make people trust psn for buying digital games more 😕
@Arugula the ps5 is easily the best console sony have made however i do agree that the games have been a tad underwhelming bar a couple of titles..its the main reason i'm playing ps4 games via bc..the games that have had ps5 upgrades have been good but they are just smoother and better looking than their ps4 counterparts..what we need are full phat ps5 games to start being released that really show what the ps5 is truly capable of..
From what we’ve seen about the third party games already, I’m excited thanks to Square.
@Col_McCafferty If they finally come out with new IP this gen consider a brick sh*tted.
As a solo player I selfishly wish they never found so much success with multi-player.
@somnambulance No doubt, Forspoken and FFXVI both look super promising.
Let's hope at least half of those 3P exclusives are not timed but permanent exclusives on console, if Sony wants to compete with the Bethesda buyout this is the way. People will be mad, but is the same as Bethesda games not coming to Playstation anymore, in the end is not about how many games can you keep away from your rivals, is about being competitive.
Btw I hope to see more Fromsoftware + PS Studios collaborations (cof cof Bloodborne 2 cof cof).
@awp69 you have lots of choices. You have PS4. PS4 Pro. PS5. PS5 Digital Edition. See? Lots of choices.
@Arugula what I've been saying all along, currently it's just another way to play PS4 games.
The future looks bright for PS5, but this is all talk, I wanna see gamez!!
IF Sony did not get the timed exclusives first, would Microsoft have done it? Either way some one will have to wait on the games.
I’m here to complain but I won’t write an actual complaint. I’ll just ❤️ every complaint that I see.
If they could both stop with the timed exclusives that would be so good. Microsoft does it occasionally but Sony is a million times worse (extending the exclusiveness of FFVIIR for example). Timed exclusives are one of the worst things about the industry. And Sony brags when they secure them.
Edit: oh and I see people defending it. Just remember (as this is a PS site), Microsoft has a LOT more money than Sony and, if they wanted to, could start securing a lot more timed exclusives. Think about whether you would like that, before you defend timed exclusives.
@K1LLEGAL I'm pretty sure there is some insentive from the shareholders to reassure them in the face of Microsoft being able to snatch a 7.5 billions publisher but also there's always the risk that the next big third party game might get bought by the competition or maybe Microsoft pays upfront the right to put it day one, for free in GamePass making the 60-70$ alternative on Sony, not that sexy.
It's probably gonna get worse
@K1LLEGAL dude third party games sell like trash on Xbox compare to PlayStation. Microsoft will have to pay big third party developers a lot of money to keep their games off PlayStation with a short time.
@velio84 being day one on Gamepass doesn’t mean it’s not on Playstation though, so PS only gamers can still play the game. Also Final Fantasy may have benefited from Sony in the past, but it’s one of the biggest Gaming franchises now. Microsoft shouldn’t pay for a year of Assassin’s Creed exclusivity just because it benefits Ubisoft.
I always feel weird commenting on this site with something that is defending Microsoft; but I just feel like people here bring up what Microsoft is doing to justify what Sony is doing; rather than imagining if Microsoft did the same as Sony how would they feel. I’m lucky enough to have access to all the consoles (too many) but it sucks straight up for people that don’t.
@4kgk2 if they sell that badly on Xbox then why the need for Sony to secure exclusivity? At that point surely the goodwill is more valuable than a few lost sales.
Also yes of course if a game comes out a year later on Xbox it’s not going to sell as well.
@Katsuhono I mean the price discrepancy is a different story. I don’t know what to say about that. Sometimes (in sales for instance) games are cheaper on Xbox and sometimes they are cheaper on Playstation. I guess at that point it’s up to the individual to decide if the value is worth it.
@K1LLEGAL you want Sony to have good well but it’s ok for Microsoft to buy Bethesda a big third party Publisher lol 😂. I hope Sony keep doing third party exclusives deals all gen long screw Xbox and it’s players.
@K1LLEGAL Then don't come on here then.
😉
Really nice users Push Square has! Lol.
@Northern_munkey That's definitely what I'm waiting for, a real proper PS5 title that makes me want one. So far, there's nothing of interest (R&C is a maybe) plus the Pro+SSD combination is still working well for all the new big games.
By the time I can be bothered, you never know but I might be able to buy a PS5 from a shop....?
Exclusives are exactly what make a console! Simple fact xflop can't get any great ones is down to the company! They just buy up companies and then ruin them! Xflop without MS as their cash flow would have died out generations ago. So stfu crying cuz Nintendo have been doing it since NES day and noone is moaning at them! PS has won this gen already just like last gen, and if they keep all devs and get new ones. PS6 will be top dog again! By the time xflop has halo trash out there will be near 50 games for PS5 released / announced. Failfesda will not close the gap ever!
@Northern_munkey yes, but if you look at this same time in the PS4 cycle, we were getting Bound by Flame and Octodad. With Spider-Man, Returnal , Resident Evil and Demons Souls, the PS5 already has several massive exclusives, not to mention Ratchet and Clank right around the corner. And you can play all your PS4 games, many of which have graphical improvements and all of which have way faster load times. Taken as a whole, the PS5 launch has been absolutely amazing.
@velio84 I never said Microsoft doesn’t have any and in fact I said the opposite. The Gamepass deal is separate from something like timed exclusivity I should think.
@velio84 yes you have found a game that is on Gamepass and isn’t on Playstation. But as my quote says “being on Gamepass doesn’t mean it’s not on Playstation” - that still stands. It’s not a rule.
Your original comment was about Microsoft spending money to get games onto Gamepass. Which yes they do but being on Gamepass is different to being a timed exclusive. That was my point.
"People" seems too eager to bash Sony about the timed exclusive thing, they just forget it is a two-way contract, Sony has to do something beyond just pumping money, the have to help to support the developer.
RE Village for example, for the demo exclusivity Sony had to help promoting the game, same deal was applied to Shenmue 3, Nioh, FF7 Remake, Death Standing and so on.
Microsoft is the only one I know who just pumps the money for exclusivity and, well, just dumps the developer afterwards. The Medium and The Falconeer are great examples of that.
@CielloArc
I think you are getting confused between a marketing deal and a timed exclusive deal.
A marketing deal just means they pay to actually market the game for the developer as part of trying to push their console brand.
See Sony with RE Village and Xbox with Scarlet Nexus as recent examples. Both have timed demos as well as part of the deal.
A timed exclusive deal means they are paying for the game to be exclusive to their console for a set amount of time.
Hopefully we'll see the next Yoko Taro project as he's back working with Keiichi Okabe.
Hopefully something set after Nier Automata, specifically after ending E (since E is typically the canon ending)
DEAD SPACE 4 (I can dream right?). Truth be told, there are so many titles that could be on the list. I just hope Sony have a showcase planned for mid june to start sharing info on what they have cooking for the second half of the year!
Dead space 4, Dantes inferno 2, dream on hey!!
I'm still waiting for the Silent Hill rumors to come into fruition.
@K1LLEGAL tbh, What does MS buying Bethesda have to do with Sony paying third party developers for time exclusivity? Absolutely nothing. Timed exclusivity is bad for the consumers, no matter what platform is involved. Mentioning the competition doing the exact same thing wouldn't make it any better. I swear many Pushsquare users in here always have the need to flash their badge of loyalty to Sony and defend their anti-consumer practices, all the while bashing MS for the exact same thing.
@Yinx
Oh I absolutely agree with you, it's one of the things that make me a big fan.
I seriously was wondering what the sequels we would be seeing would be.
Timed exclusives...the biggest waste of money in the gaming industry.
@BrainHacker I think you replied to the wrong person? I 100% agree with your comment though. Timed exclusivity is bad.
@K1LLEGAL Nah, You're the only one I replied to, because I don't want the hordes of PS fanboys coming after me lol. it's alright to be a fan of one platform over the other, but defending them, even though their business practices affects the consumer such as themselves is ridiculous in my opinion.
@BrainHacker Haha yea I get you.
And exactly. Thing is, If Microsoft steps up and starts doing timed exclusivity as much as Sony (which is very possible) then it’s just going to get worse and worse. And then both bases will suffer unnecessarily; and then the fanboys will complain, but it will be too late. Actual exclusives are a different story and are a necessity.
@K1LLEGAL MS have all the money to be so much worse than Sony. I'm actually shock that Stalker 2 will only be timed exclusive for 3 months, while Sony extended their deal for FF7R intergrade for another 6 months.
@nessisonett uuhhh, disagree or agree with the practice, I think they have the right to pay for that contract quite easily. It’s the devs games. I get you don’t like and I’m not saying you’re wrong, but yeah, they have the right...
more multiplayer games ?
Who care about timed exclusives? Sony should invest more in 1st & 2nd party game studios and create fresh IPs.
So again, timed exclusives are bad but MS helping out Uncle Phil by splashing billions of pounds to purchase the rights to several well known and popular multi-platform IPs thereby removing them from a competitor is fine?
Hmm, okay.
🙄
@K1LLEGAL. You dont know what you talking about.stick to your x box😄🤔.word up son
@K1LLEGAL timed exclusives have existed since the retro days. But the practice kicked up a gear in the last decade. Best example in 2014 Rise of the Tomb Raider. The company who moneyhatted it? Microsoft.
Sony may be still giving the practice some life this gen but they have all been at it.
Xbox had a timed exclusive on Yakuza 7's next gen patch. A patch....
@Col_McCafferty one is timed exclusivity. The other is trying to gain a monopoly. I have a Series X but Microsoft are being painted as some pro consumer saint this gen. I dont get the hype. They are not a charity they will make that money back later.
If as rumour is to be believed a few more acquisitions are in pipeline for Microsoft I expect some drama.
Exclusives matter and are arguably the most important factor when deciding a system. Just look at all previous generations of consoles and try to recall the best games that released on them. I'm willing to bet that most people will find that exclusives (timed or full) are going to be in their top 5 picks for the system.
In my opinion, the best generations have always been the ones where each platform had multiple exclusives. I hate how Xbox have forfeited exclusives to PC, I want them to entice me to their platform not give me a reason to avoid them. The original Xbox and Xbox 360 had great exclusives that are fondly remembered to this day. The same can't be said about Xbox One or Series S|X.
There's people that love to spread the rhetoric that "exclusives are anti-consumer" and feel like they're entitled to every game under the sun on their system. Imagine if that were to happen, how awful would gaming be if every system was just a homogenous box that played games like a DVD/Blu-Ray player. Nintendo would be dead and buried, nobody would want to deal with their feeble hardware and their quality and innovation will plummet just like Sega did after they became a multiplatform developer. Competition will be non-existent since everyone will just buy the system they can afford - they'll all play the same games so who cares! There will be no drive to push the medium forward since every game will be beholden to release on every platform to maintain the "pro-consumer" stance and none will be able to take advantage of any unique features for the sake of parity.
Look at the big video streaming services like Disney+, Amazon Prime and Netflix. It's not like they share their original content amongst themselves. They know the value of their own shows that they've invested time and money in, so why should they go on their competitor's service to benefit them? Where's the anti-consumer crying here? I don't understand how this belief that exclusive games are anti-consumer became so popular in recent times, it's a business not a charity!
Hopefully most of them are AAA quality games with big focus on story/plot.
@nessisonett
Yeah, 3rd party moneyhatting is the dumbest thing in this industry.
But I have enough games to play atm! I really don't need another 25 added to my list. 😂😂😂
@RBMango Not saying the practise should be put on a pedastall but I don't think it's something that is 100% wrong as the money Sony gives for a timed exclusive can help smaller developers raise the capital they need but I agree its not the best practices for big AAA third party games.
@4kgk2 3rd party exclusives have been a thing since way before the 360. The NES was the king of that.
https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2014/08/the-rise-and-fall-and-rise-and-fall-of-gamings-third-party-exclusives/?amp=1
And you saying the PS5 launch is the worst is ridiculous. You must be mad young and haven’t seen many console generations.
@djdizzy I didn’t say ps5 is the worst console launch I said the opposite of that. You should actually read all people comments before replying. Also I been gaming since the ps1 and n64 days.
@4kgk2 you’re right, I had a dyslexic moment. My fault.
@nessisonett every right! It's a buisness at the end of the day. Doesn't mean it's good or bad.
@Futureshark The 25 games Hermen Hulst was referring to are games that are in development currently. Considering TLoU 3 was confirmed pretty recently to not be in development yet, I’m guessing it’s not included in these 25 titles.
@ILikeStake can’t wait for them both. Forspoken was, to me, the most exciting looking game at the original PS5 reveal other than Pragmata. I hope we get some big news from Square about XVI for E3. I can’t wait to see the overall Line-up for the second half of the year. 2021 started slow, but I’m hoping it’s just because it follows what 2019 did and backload the year (though my wallet doesn’t appreciate that so much).
@somnambulance Yeah totally. When Project Athia was shown it blew my mind. Surely Forspoken is a 2022 title, right? I think we may see XVI in 21, but Square Enix is known for delays. I'm really hoping for an adult story, more so than XV, maybe like Tactics was. The previews kind of bears this out too which makes me even more hyped. Hoping also for a return to late game open world, like so many of the series earlier titles.
@ILikeStake I know I’m in the minority, but I loved XV. Granted, I played it a few years late after the Royal version was out, but still, one of my favorite games of the last generation, which I wasn’t expecting, as I’d been sort of burnt out of the series on XII and especially XIII. I hope XVI keeps the good streak going from XIV-7R. Hope the rumor is true about those V and VI remakes too. I’ve read that XVI is further along than Square would like us to guess, so maybe they’ve learned their lesson on delays?
Forspoken has a soft January ‘22 release date, unless that’s changed? I know it’s not been announced, but I thought it was listed on some Sony presentation a few months back.
Square really made my year last year. I played through FF7R then XV then DQXI all in a row last summer. Made me appreciate being laid off in the pandemic.
@somnambulance You know, I enjoyed XV, but Ardyn was a bad villain in my opinion. The end of the game was pretty strangely done too. I did like some of the secret dungeons, but I wish there were more secrets throughout the game. We all know the development hell the game went through, but it just seemed lacking in meaningful side quests and activities. I played the game day one though and I understand Royal added a lot to the game, it almost sounds like some of that stuff should have been there from the beginning. I don't know, it was a solid game though with maybe some wasted potential.
You are spot on with VIIR. That was my '20 game of the year no doubt about it. Sorry to hear about you losing your job, but the brightside was the gaming binge sounds like!
@truerbluer I wholeheartedly agree and from a personnal point of view it touches some of my concerns with GamePass. Not having to shell out 70 bucks for a game on opening day is great, of course but what I am afraid is that if there is no incentive to justify the price why should developpers care ? You're still gonna be able to play it day one, that's one of the problems I have with Netflix, it's quantity over quality, they don't care so much about quality since everybody get access to everything as long as you're subscribed.
And on the same note, there is a completely subjective link between what you've paid and how much you might be patient with a game. I've picked up a lot of games through PS+ that I just played for an hour or two and abandonned and I feel like if I had paid for these games I might have played them for longer.
That's just the way I see things and I still think GamePass is a great concept.
@nessisonett I hate timed exclusivity too but they have every right if the developer/publisher is willing to accept money to put it in a single place for a timed period.
We should be pointing our fingers at the developer/publisher for putting those rights on sale in the first place.
@Axelay71 @ViolentEntity Dante's Inferno 2 would make me adopt a ps5 earlier than I plan haha but I doubt that would happen.
You know, I was gonna get a ps5 about a year in but tbh if the supply isn't there I'm gonna wait until it is readily available. Currently it's about £530 for a disc version second hand (but obviously not used, scalpers) and that's not happening. I will wait until it's readily available in a store for around 400 or so. Either way, I do think they will need non-cross-gen games at some point, because it's obvious the current games aren't taking full advantage of the system.
@Axelay71 ooh man you have good taste ! I'd love to see those
@KingPev thanks mate, I still play Dantes inferno today its just such an underrated gem. Gets compared to God of war. When personally Dantes is better in a lot of ways. Just imagine a sequel on ps5. Unfortunately games like that don't get made anymore, if its not open world, crafting forget it.
@Jayofmaya yes mate I can dream, didn't happen last gen so doubt it will this one either. Trouble is today's gamers seem obsessed with open world, fetch quest, crafting. Which honestly bores me, Dantes and Deadspace were just pure fun and exciting yes upgrades but didn't get in the way.
@Axelay71 What on Earth are you going on about?
Just what we need, another gamer snob bemoaning that 'games aren't what they used to be'.
🤦
@Col_McCafferty hey you've got your opinion, I have mine. I know exactly what I'm talking about im sure plenty will agree with me.
@Col_McCafferty No matter your difference in opinion, please don’t attack other users and call them snobs. You’ve been here more than long enough to know that.
It just astonishes me how some people actually try to gaslight others into thinking that ps5 launch lineup was weak. I just can’t find enough time to play! It’s the best launch year a PlayStation console has ever had 🤦🏼
This is just words at the moment. Sony might have the best line-up ever to reveal, but until that happens, I couldn't care less. It's like Nintendo claiming they have loads of new games ready for this year; sure you do Nintendo, sure you do. I know this sounds negative, but I would rather the industry start showing us some of these games than teasing. The constant "hype" is starting to grate on me now.
Crazy game prices aside, the PS5 has had some superb games in its first six months. If the games keep coming and what we've seen so far is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of what the console can do, we're set for a killer generation.
I just hope the numbers bump up sooner rather than later so the online retailers can start selling the games cheaper.
New ip hype train
@ILikeStake Eh, I got a new job, so no big deal, just took a while. At least the government was generous enough with unemployment benefits here in the States for a while. Didn’t quite pay my salary, but enough of it to where I was able to just resume life afterward... and I got through my backlog. Jeez, I probably beat 30-40 games or so last year, which is definitely more than I could do this year by a wide margin. I’ve only got maybe 10 backlogged games now, which I can live with. Might as well let them off the backlog and admit I’m never going to play them.
7R was my pick for goty in 2020 for sure. No real contest. I mean, sure there was TLoU2, GoT, Animal Crossing, Hades, etc, but that stuff was all paled in comparison to the experience of FF7R, even if there might’ve been more objectively better games in the year. I mean, yeah, the side quests were pretty awful in 7R, but, for the overall experience, I looked past the faults and just truly loved my time in a way that stands above most games I’ve played. Same thing with XV. I could rate XV like a 7.5/10, but that discounts the fact that I had more fun with it than I had with the Witcher 3, which is a game I’d give a 10/10. Last year made me really rethink the logic of my number ratings. Lol. I can see where people had problems with XV at launch, but I’ll give Square credit for fixing it.
@Axelay71 ..yeah I played it when it came out and again recently on EA Play. Still superb, a PS5 version would be stunning. Dead Space as well. Dead Space 2 is one of the best games ever
@KingPev I'm with you my friend, totally agree. Love these games. Unfortunately the larger gaming community doesn't. If it doesn't sell well enough get rid that's the way developers look at it especially EA.
@Arugula yea... You're definitely in the wrong place for that opinion lol
(I agree with you!)
Would love to see Jak and Daxter return in some form
The third party timed exclusives are such a waste of resources.
How much money does Sony put into them anyways? Like 50 million? More? Less?
For big triple A Blockbusters like FF16, it has to be something between 50 and 75 million right? Imagine using this money to invest into own even MORE new IPs, sequels and resurrections. Just sayin. I don't really get it. It seems to be just a cheap attempt to buy time until the own studios got their ***** together.
I sincerely hope it's just their short term plan and doesn't extend that too much.
For example, Sony, acquire Housemarque already. And while you at it get Bluepoint Studio with it. That'd seem like long term plans.
Great to see more content coming. I’m happy with timed exclusives. The best games on the ps4 were pretty much the Sony exclusive ones and that’s been the case for me since PS1, Xbox and N64. Interesting comments here but I don’t see anyone saying Mario should be on all platforms…. It’s a company’s IP and they have the right to make all the money they can off their investment. If it means better games for us and talent being able to show us what they can do then great. If not, don’t buy it.
Im not impressed so far, in terms of next gen quality games all we have had so far is basically a DLC (spider man) and a remake (demon's souls). Returnal is too expensive for a game im not that in to, and I refuse to pay more than $100 aud for a game out of principal especially on a Sony console (massive user count and therefore sales). The rest have been on PC as well or PS4 already like Yakuza and watch dogs, Valhalla etc...
I don't understand how you can be impressed by essentially 3 big games in almost 9 months, I'm having a hard time finding anything decent to play that is not on PS4 as well. If we take off the fan boy hats (of which I have a big one for ps5 don't get me wrong) then you seriously can't sit here and tell me you aren't in the same boat as me in this regard? If so what are you playing lol?
At least it's even worse on team green side at the moment as well, I haven't even bothered buying one yet as everything is on PC anyway.
@Arugula you’re not wrong. It’s early yet, but very little has been “wow!” I am hoping things improve. And I think they will.
@4kgk2 for console sales maybe, but that doesn’t stop that fact that lets say only 100 PS5’s have been sold, only 4 people have one.
@K1LLEGAL It doesn't suck this has been a part of gaming since gaming has been around. Atleast with timed exclusive you get to play the game on another system. The problem is the people have changed. Just like before launch oh no's PS5 blows because Sony isn't telling us everything!!?? Yet when SNES dropped you didn't know its guts you just bought it or Sega. Now people gotta gotta have it all! No no you don't.
What good is a timed-exclusive to lure you, when the lure-ee can’t even find your console in stock anywhere? Now nobody is playing the exclusive!
Hi everyone.
Not much news going on PushSquare so I'll just point out again the info linked in the article says 25 'games in development for PS5" but almost every where (including on PushSquare) I see misinformation that Sony said 25 PS5 exclusives . It's false. Some people will be raging at Jim Ryan or whoever for 'lying' in some outrage article and so and only the press is getting the benefit of the unnecessary fuss.
25 games in development in PS Studio is vague enough and sounds great to me as it is.
Majority are, of course, PlayStation exclusives we can only assume. Definitely not all are PS5 exclusives.
