Intruiged to give it a try but my kids went off Fortnite earlier this year, so I deleted it to make space. Don't know if I can be bothered redownloading it...

I feel like we've had plenty worse months than this one, I don't get it.

It's an existing Codemasters property (Dirt Rally) that EA took under their banner amd changed the name, but nothing else. It's the latest in a brilliant series of games and definitely more rewarding than FIFA and the like. A truly great game if you have a bit of time (and patience) to let it get its hooks into you!

It would be doable, but you'd need a darker narrative in the vein of GTA IV. They'd have to wind back the humour, and sometimes I feel like that's a bit of a safety net for them, as much as I love the GTA series

I've played Stray and WRC. Both great games. So it's a good month if I ever plan to replay them. Otherwise, on with the backlog

I try to, but it always seems to be a busy time of year. I started Crow Country the other day but had to turn it off before I'd even got to the first save point. I need to get better at setting my own leisure time aside

I'll play it at some point, but if I'm splashing out on a new game, it'll be Yotei because I've not got to that yet.

It doesn't make sense for me to buy this game at launch unfortunately, as much as I enjoyed the first one

WRC is a superb game. Stray is great too, just an odd choice given it launched on Plus. Good for those that missed it though.

This is the best month for fans of cats and cars since we got Gran Purrismo

I like the idea but it might have meant the story wasn't half as impactful. Without wanting to go into spoiler territory, it wouldn't have hit so hard in the gut, surely

Yeah great game. Played it to platinum so I'm not sure I'll play it again but it's good to have.

I might start Crow Country this weekend, to "celebrate" the clocks going back and get myself in the mood for Halloween

It can't be a bad machine, we've seen Yotei running on it. But by the same token, all these developers can't be "lazy".

It reminds me of the Sega Saturn, in that a console manufacturer who has enjoyed years of success gets a bit carried away and builds a machine that's too hard for developers to work with.

I'm not saying Sony is at the same point Sega was then, but I think they need to be very careful going into next gen, and remember what put them on top of the pile in the first place. The PS1 was a success because developers could get their heads around it so easily.

That "I don't have PS Premium" response is creeping higher and higher each month...

My nephew is into this. He asked me to watch it with him the other day, but he was already halfway through, so I had no idea what was going on. It was pretty trippy if I'm honest

Shinobi Art of Vengeance is done, although I might keep coming back for a crack at the boss rush.

Suikoden II remaster next, one of my favourite games ever. I'm looking forward to taking my time with this as the nights draw in.

All depends on the backlog. With Shinobi to finish, Silksong, Still Wakes the Deep and Sui II remaster still on my list to play, I'm not going to get to Ghost of Yotei at release unless it jumps the queue. So that might push Nioh 3 back.

It's a good problem to have!

Still plugging away at Shinobi, I think the next level is the final one. This game is excellent

Sony could have had Bluepoint working on it all this time. But I kind of like that Bloodborne was a one-and-done thing.

They don't massively need to revisit it. The game is still playable and still brilliant.

Loved 1, 2 and the Pre-sequel. But after 3, I can't chance going back to the series, just in case. There's no way I can risk anything that unfunny in my life ever again, it was almost painful

I got one around mid-gen after my mate went away to Hong Kong for two weeks and lent me his to look after.

Best memories? Silent Hill, MGS, those Net Yaroze games, Suikoden, Worms... and those glorious game boxes, like CD cases on steroids
