PS Plus

With today's announcement of the single PS Plus Premium title for March 2026 now public, PlayStation has gone seven months in a row providing the most expensive tier of its subscription service with just one new title per month.

The last time that it stretched to two was in August 2025, when the PS1 versions of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 joined the service. Since then, however, PS Plus Premium members have been treated to only one new classic title per month. They are:

September 2025
Legacy of Kain: Defiance (PS2)
October 2025
Tekken 3 (PS1)
November 2025
Tomb Raider: Anniversary (PS2)
December 2025
SoulCalibur III (PS2)
January 2026
Ridge Racer (PS1)
February 2026
Disney Pixar WALL-E (PS2)
March 2026
Tekken: Dark Resurrection (PSP)

Before August 2025, monthly drops with just a single PS Plus Premium game were still common, but they were usually followed by busier months, such as March 2025, when three Armored Core titles and a PSVR2 game joined the service.

There's been nothing like that for PS Plus Premium subscribers to look forward to for over a year now.

As our All PS Plus Games Available Now guide proves, the service has built up a fairly decent catalogue of classic titles at this point, providing anyone jumping in at this point with lots to choose from. However, if you've been here since the start and have already played the classic games you want to, the monthly title drops are the only way you can justify the highest PS Plus price point.

It's important to compare and contrast what you're getting with a PS Plus Premium membership, in comparison with the tier below it: PS Plus Extra.

For a 12-month subscription, PS Plus Extra costs £99.99 / $134.99 while PS Plus Premium is £119.99 / $159.99. This represents a £20 / $25 charge to access the exclusive benefits of PS Plus Premium for one year — that would work out to roughly £1.60 / $2 per month.

While we know most PS Plus Premium members are there for the classic PlayStation games, Sony would point out that it also offers time-limited trials for a long list of PS5 and PS4 games.

Therefore, on its current schedule, Sony is working towards offering 12 classic PlayStation games across a year for an extra £20 / $25 over what is already part of PS Plus Extra. It may not seem like a great deal, especially when in months gone by, it's offered multiple classics at once.
