I've never understood the love Suikoden III gets. It just didn't resonate with me at all. I found the graphics babyish and the writing a massive step back from the first two.

I'd be more interested in a localisation of the Suikogaiden games, which never reached these shores

Just finished it. It's absolutely superb, looks like there's going to be lots of replayability too.

There are accessibility/difficulty options for anyone worried about that, although I played it on the standard settings without too much trouble, and my reactions aren't what they used to be

We're in a golden era for retro-styled games. It's like 1994 on steroids

Great game, a lovely game to play through and take your time.

In hindsight I probably shouldn't have bothered 100%-ing it, as the busywork took some of the shine off the experience. I'm hoping the sequel will take a more freefrom approach to side activities

This is how all rally games look when I close my eyes. I played way too much Colin McRae and Sega Rally back in the day

My girlfriend left the Switch at mine so it's Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart time. I've never played BotW before and it's a great game. Playstation controls are just so ingrained in my mind that I can't get used to anything else. So I keep pressing the wrong buttons.

Meanwhile I'm carrying on with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order where I know how to hit people.

You don't get to be a cult favourite for nothing. He had that tenacious quality that made him liked by all fans, no matter who they support. But putting football aside, it's just plain sad news. Hopefully Sony will answer the call on this one

Normally I'd be starting to feel ready for next gen by now, but I just don't have any appetite for ps6 yet at all. Feel like my ps5 is only just getting going
