Not even the might of Marvel is powerful enough to quell the UK's love for the beautiful game. While FIFA 22 is still sitting pretty in number one, Square Enix's great superhero action caper, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, makes a strong start, debuting in second place. As has been the case with many high profile, third party releases, the physical version of the game is selling best on PlayStation 5; this version accounts for 63 per cent of the share.
Elsewhere, Ubisoft has a new release in the top 10 with Riders Republic. The online extreme sports title debuts in eighth position. The publisher is also enjoying continued success with Far Cry 6, although it has moved down slightly to fourth place.
Aside from that, you're looking at a fairly unsurprising list. Nintendo continues to do very well on the physical UK chart, but Grand Theft Auto V continues to be a stronghold, currently in ninth place. Here's the latest top 10 in full.
