I play it at some point. It's just hard to get too excited. Every Platinum game is either a failed experiment, or a functionally identical character action game.
I'll stick with the Japanese action game currently on Playstation for now.
A strong 9, bordering on a 10. The exploration and combat are so good, and the side quests and open world stuff are crazy addictive. The only thing that's holding it back is the story, but the characters are engaging enough to keep it interesting. Sucker Punch really outdid themselves with this one. I'm not even halfway through, and I'm already excited for what the eventual new game plus is like.
Magnificent. Everything from the controls to the build variety just feels great. If anything is annoying me so far, it's how easy it is to get side tracked when you set a goal. I'll just say it, they made this game too good. Sucker Punch, you may have set your own bar too high.
Frankly, they only have themselves to blame. Xbox has never been properly managed, and throwing money at the problem only ever works in the short term. I just hope that all the hard working people about to lose their jobs can land on their feet somewhere.
Isn't that like asking g Nintendo fans if they're tired of saving princesses in Mario and Zelda games? Or Xbox fans if they're tried for fighting aliens in Gears and Halo games?
I was probably going to buy this regardless, but I'd much rather see Musou games evolve and iterate like it's been doing for years. Origins gives Omega Force a strong new foundation to build off of, and that's more exciting to me than any remake would be.
I'll be exploring Nod Krai in Genshin Impact.
As one of the three people who really loved Natlan, I enjoy the vibe Nod Krai gives off, but the world mechanics feel a little basic in comparison.
Maybe I'm just a little bitter because Lauma gave me one of the worst summon sessions of my life, but I'm still waiting for this region to grow on me.
I haven't played it yet, and based off of early impressions, I don't think I'll be playing it for a while. Silksong sounds like it's doubling down on everything I loved and hated about Hollow Knight, which means I'll more than likely not finish it.
In an interview with SkillUp, Matt Nava said this also happened with The Pathless. I respect that Giant Squid wants to stay independent, but if Sony has to keep bailing them out, maybe an acquisition might not be a bad idea
Not yet, too much on my plate right now. Honestly, I might just wait to see if those playstation handheld rumors turn out to be true before I make a decision.

My guess is this will be shut down within a year and Square Enix will still try to blame it's failure on Sony.

Still hooked on Ghost of Yotei. I'm about 30 hours in, and I might finally be ready to do some story quests soon.

I'll be playing Ghost of Yotei while listening to AFI's new album. Turns out this game pairs really well with atmospheric goth rock.
