Netmarble has dated its free-to-play adaptation of manga The Seven Deadly Sins, attaching a 28th January release date to the Genshin Impact-inspired RPG. (Well, every other game is coming out early next year, so why not another one, huh?)
This is an original story with additional lore for fans of the franchise, created under the supervision of original author Nakaba Suzuki.

Here’s the story premise, via the PS Blog:
“Players will take on the role of Tristan, a young adventurer drawn into a multiversal crisis that threatens to unravel the world. With mysterious powers awakening within him and strange anomalies appearing across Britannia, Tristan sets out on a quest that will lead him through forgotten ruins, legendary battlefields, and rifts in space and time.”
Among the activities you’ll be able to engage with in the game is creature catching, fishing, resource gathering, crafting, and environmental puzzles.
There’s also character-switching real-time combat, as you’d perhaps expect from a game influenced by Genshin Impact.
One other thing worth noting is that while the title does have optional co-op features, it can be enjoyed individually if that’s more your thing.
