@KundaliniRising333 I won't listen to anyone with blind loyalty to a corporation, but I also won't listen to someone who probably blames Sony if they so much as spill their coffee.
That seems a little harsh. All she wants to do is fire as many people as she can and replace them with A.I. to make make shareholders think they aren't wasting their money.
Just a reminder that the only reason the Switch 2 beat the PS5 in December is because retailers went rouge and dropped the price just to get them off the shelves. Even then, a 5 year old console running neck and neck with a debut system in it's first holiday season is pretty impressive for the former, and pretty embarrassing for the latter.
@Oram77 It's pretty good. It's a little too long and the pacing isn't great, but Mark anchors the movie with a solid performance and his cinematic eye is damn impressive for a first time director.
This game won employee of the year at my work. I asked my boss how that even makes sense and he told me it had absolutely nothing to do with the French government.
@nessisonett I get where you're coming from, but casting a black actor just to cover him in white body paint is a minefield I don't think anyone wants to step in.
This role was going to be whitewashed one way or another. At least this choice has some reasoning behind it.
Yes and no. The core concept is cool as hell, and it probably could have worked out with a more fleshed out campaign. But the hell Bioware put it's staff through just to release a live service grind makes it really hard to defend.
I'm playing Wuthering Waves, I said I'd give it another go once Cartethyia got a rerun. I tried keeping my distance from this one because the last thing I need is another gacha addiction. But I also didn't expect them to add an 8 foot tall sword mommy to the game when I wasn't looking.
According to this game: being indie means coming from a wealthy family, leaving a high ranking position at one of the biggest publishers in the world to make a game funded by the French government and largely put together by an outsourced team that got no credit.

Re: Zanerdin: The Unbound Promises to Be a PS5 Gacha RPG Without Any In-Game Purchases
Sorry to be pedantic, but isn't gacha gameplay monetized by definition? The term comes from the capsule machines you're expected to feed money into.
Re: God of War: Sons of Sparta (PS5) - Series' Boldest Bet Is Also Its Slowest Burn
Fair review. I'd bump up to an 8 just for the inclusion of Scott Menville as the voice of Deimos, but I have weird priorities sometimes.
Re: 'One of the Worst Decisions Ever Made': God of War Creator Tears 'Total Crap' 2D Title Apart
Jaffe waived his right to be taken seriously when he started hanging out with lol cows. He's pathetic. I can't believe I used to admire him.
Re: Saros Succumbs to the Pay Extra to Play Early Trend
Still very excited for this game, but I'll be playing it day one, not day negative two.
Re: Sony's PS5, PC Co-Op Shooter 4Loop Is Somehow Interesting and Uninteresting at the Same Time
'Intresting and uninteresting at the same time' pretty much sums up everything that comes from Bad Robot.
Re: Round Up: What Was Announced in Sony's State of Play Livestream for February 2026?
Considering how much marketing Microsoft has done for Beast of Reincarnation, it's kind of a baller move that Sony got to announce the release date.

Re: 6 PS5 Games That Cut Through the Noise at Taipei Game Show
Still holding out hope for a Kyouran Makaism localization. That game looks right up my alley.
Re: PS Plus Essential Games for February 2026 Announced
Really excited for Subnautica, and Ultros is a great get if you haven't played it. The other two I can't really comment on though.
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Highguard?
I'm not really interested in this game, I just wanted to say that the hate for this game feels incredibly forced.
Re: Random: Someone Made Their Very Own Portable PS4 Handheld Console
The analog sticks are asymmetrical. You had one job!
Re: PS5 Fans Just Can't Wait to Play Xbox's New Fable Game
People are way too complacent in giving their money to an evil warmongering corporation that bends the knee to multiple facist regimes.

Still in London, still no gaming.
I went to Paris the other day, and it was awesome

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 616
No gaming for me because I'm actually on vacation in London. That's why I was able to comment early this time.

They're also releasing the Character Creator as a free demo before launch.
Re: Talking Point: Did ANTHEM Deserve the Hate?
Yes and no. The core concept is cool as hell, and it probably could have worked out with a more fleshed out campaign. But the hell Bioware put it's staff through just to release a live service grind makes it really hard to defend.

I'll stop calling it slop when he stops colluding with the Israeli military.
Re: Talking Point: What Are Your PS5 New Year's Resolutions?
My resolution is a full boycott of Xbox. Because I refuse to be complicate with a company that's aiding and abetting a genocide.
Free Palestine.
Re: Game of the Year: Push Square Readers' 20 Most Anticipated PS5 Games of 2026
I think Wolverine taking the top spot might be an indicator of how confident (or not) people are that GTA6 is coming this year.
Re: Game of the Year: Top 10 PS5 Soundtracks of 2025
If Sword of the Sea wasn't on this list, I would have started a riot.
Should have been number 1 though. Clair Obsure's music was honestly kinda mid.
Re: Episodic Sensation Dispatch Will Be Eligible for The Game Awards 2026
They only judged this rule so GTA6 can win GOTY in 2027.
(Assuming it releases in 2026)
Re: Game of the Year: Best PS5 Indie Game of 2025
Absolutely disgusting leaving Sword of the Sea off the list. You should be ashamed.
Re: Game of the Year: Best PS5 Remake or Remaster of 2025
I actually didn't play any remakes that came out this year. I'm sure they're all good, rebut remakes just weren't on my radar.
Re: Game of the Year: #10 - Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds
Best kart racer of the year. I can't think of anything else that comes close.

Re: Talking Point: With Expedition 33 Winning Best Indie Game, What Does 'Indie' Mean to You?
According to this game: being indie means coming from a wealthy family, leaving a high ranking position at one of the biggest publishers in the world to make a game funded by the French government and largely put together by an outsourced team that got no credit.
But it's turn based. So indie I guess.
