It's a really good game. I just hate that it's tries to shoe-horn dodging and parrying into it's battle system. It feels like a turn based game that's ashamed of being a turn based game.

The first season was awful. And a turnaround this fast means that it was made concurrently with season 1, meaning they likely didn't have time to listen to feedback. So I expect this season to suck as well.

Absolutely unfinished. These are the kind of patches that make it seem like the game wasn't beta tested at all. I'm glad Pearl Abyss is so responsive to feedback, but the don't deserve credit for releasing an incomplete game for money just to fix it after it made them money.

This all sounds great. It's nice to see Pearl Abyss being so responsive to criticism. I wish I could say the same for the player base.

@PercyChuggs I've seen multiple previews of this game that say Housemarque built the biomes from the ground up to be more cohesive as a way to address criticisms they got from Returnal.

I finally got the platinum for Returnal. I've never been more ready for this.

You don't know the true pain of Ursula until you've fought her on the PS2 version where you can't skip cutscenes.

I'm also playing Returnal. It's crazy to think I had to step away from this ga e back in 2021 because I couldn't beat Nemesis. Now I've cleared all three acts and am just a few Xenoglyphs away from the platinum. I never thought that would happen.

Probably the last award Crimson Desert is going to win.

This is my second most hyped game behind Saros. Just tell me when it's out and I'll be there day one.
