Creative House 4 is obviously the backburner.

This is the best Double Dragon released in a long time. Initially, i was turned off by the artstyle, but the music slaps and the gameplay more than makes up for it. It comes off simple at first, but its surprisingly deep. Add that with 20 characters to master & thats loads of content. I love rougelite elements bc they always encourage different playstyles. This is a STRONG 8.5/10 for me and i would say its a top 5 modern beatemup.

I think its ok for a studio to experiment. The industry is ALWAYS in need for new IP.

Part of me wants the physical copy just because ...lol

FarCry 3 & Blood Dragon are the best games in the series. They are usually dirt cheap on the PS Store.

Looks fun. I would play something like this portably.

These games are running on 20 year old hardware. I think its time to ditch the PS3 (which was poorly designed to begin with) and invest in proper emulation.

Fighting Force, one of the worst purchases I ever made in the 90's. I can't believe this trash was actually gonna be Streets of Rage 4. I remember when only good games were remade/remastered. I blame Devil May Cry 2.

These guys are better than BioWare & Bethesda (dev not publisher) these days.

One of my fav PS4 games. Not for everyone, but there's absolutely nothing like it.

Familiar but fun game. Great story and several "oh SHHH" moments. 8/10 for me as well.

In hindsight, the PS4 did many things right

I'll give it a 9.5/10 right now. If the game didn't crash (no pun 👀) so much, i'd give it a perfect 10.

So much untapped potential with Dreams.

Great game, incredible roster...but the beatemup enthusiast in me find a few things annoying & hard to unlearn:

GRAB/THROWS: I'm used to walking up and grabbing the enemy with ANY character instead of locking it to one button with SOME characters.

RECOVERY: Maybe im just unaware but i havent figured out a way to land on my feet just yet. Its usually with the jump button right before you land..

These aren't negatives and I appreciate MCI trying to seperate from other beatemups, but I honestly feel these are genre standards at this point.

I prefer something new & original.

Why are fans are always asking for remakes & remasters? Make inspired sequels & new IP. Fans dont know what they want & these remasters are killing the entire industry.

Im checking for this based on the Guard Crush's work on Streets of Rage 4 (the GOAT beatemup) alone.

With development time and costs...its safe to say this tone deaf decision by Jim Ryan and the other suits killed the PS5. They arent gamers and they are out of touch with what gamers want.

Baldur's Gate has always been top notch. I expected nothing less tbh.

Between the PS4 & Switch versions, this is more reasonable as a Switch purchase. Very unfortunate. Wishful thinking, but here's hoping for a full-functional & native PS5 version.

No lie, this might be my favorite Final Fantasy game ever. To be brutally honest, turned-based gameplay kept this series stagnant for a long time.

I got some free $$$ without even trying.

Only games i leave installed are fighting games, which take alot of space these days. Those are a pain to reinstall. Usually when i have people over, they want to play Tekken or MK.

I find it strange how this is made by the same people who made Lords of the Fallen (2014), which also has a sequel releasing this year (different dev).

I plan on getting this when its less than 50% off. Looks like arcadey fun.

@Cashews SOR4 is the king of beatemups.

This happened to me after a long session in FRAME-RATE mode. I recommend the 30FPS graphics mode anyway. Its more consistent, especially with transitions from cutscenes to game play.
