Didn't they already port these to PS3?

I really want to get into the series (own most of them!) But just don't have the time to invest in a new set of RPGs!

This works super well for me. My only reason to purchase Xbox was if Alan Wake 2 ever came to fruition!

I hope this means they will look at a rerelease to gauge interest

So what about the Kickstarter backers? Do we get the season pass?

I wonder if they're thinking about it differently. There's been a while saga of ff7 content so it could be they plan to include more. Maybe I'm being hopeful here but it could be a good way to flesh it out!

It would be great to have modern reimaginings of all the games. 3 was never a favourite of mine but I'd still like to see it happen. Code Veronica however...

For those who played the Dreamcast know this can have some interesting applications.

I rarely comment on stuff like this but I feel like I need to give some feedback on the review.

It's really poor.

I don't feel like I get any understanding of what this game is about. What the new additions are and whether it's worth getting if I've already played the game.

As a Vita owner it's pretty important to me to understand what is new and if it's worth it!

Persona at Hogwarts. Sounds like money to me

High on my list for a while but have too many other jrpgs so have put this series on the back burner.

I'd prefer switch releases though as I think they lend themselves to portable and no way they'll do 3 or 4 on Vita now

I'm sure I read that it would have dlc for ps4 and pc. I own the Vita version so not sure if that will get it or not

This seems like a bit of a bizarre list. Where's Disney? Nike? Surely Marvel is quite high at the moment? Surely higher than Android!

I'd like them to slowly re-release all the tales of games. The old ones are so inaccessible now (except symphonia).

I've been trying to play all of them I can so just zestiria and berseria to go of the ps3-ps4 gen ones.

Although I love graces and xillia I probably wouldn't buy a remaster yet.

Also platform of choice is switch - makes older games less hard work if it's portable for some reason!

I'd prefer some rereleases of the first two titles first. Make the series more Accessible

Currently playing this on ps3 so a little annoying i didn't wait a bit. That said I'm not loving. It's a solid 7/10, but for some reason jrpg sequels always seem to add in some bizarre maguffin or plot point completely unrelated to the first, rather than tell an interesting story about the world or characters

I'm eager to get into this series. I have zero, as well as a couple of the ps3 games but not started any as it's a bit daunting to start another series of 7 titles!

That said obviously everyone wants a remake of the first (or a port of twin snakes)

I would love to see squenix work through the FF back catalogue and re-release them all slowly. How great would it be to see all the FF games on one console! Ps4 and Switch would be my dream.
Start with mainline but slowly work through spin offs too would be so good.

That said. Not sure I'd buy them all again but we'll see. Take the resident evil approach I say.

I'd then like to see them do this for other franchises. It seems to be slowly happening for dragon quest on DS (bring over rocket slime!) And star ocean on ps4.

My view is entertainment is too expensive. How many people do you know that are happy to pay the price for a cinema ticket?

Now this is obviously a return on investment situation, so how can games be made cheaper? Indie games are one way. Smaller teams. Smaller budgets maybe. I'm by far no expert

This is very sad. The first dead space was amazing and the 2nd wasn't bad either. I'm sure I read the third was interfered with a lot by EA too.

I thought there was so much promise in a star wars game from them, could have been amazing

I love my vita. It's such a great little console, but I don't have room in my life for this and the switch. I'd like the switch to become what the vita was for RPGs (persona 5 on switch please!) And Sony to focus on the bigger, beefier cinematic games on ps4.

I know some people are against constant rereleases, but I do like Capcom's policy of making these games available on the most recent gen of consoles.

Looking forward to to life is strange. Glad I didn't cave and buy this. Killing floor looks like nothing I'm interested in. And please stop with the twin stick shooters. One is ok, but I feel like it's every month now

Should I get this? I played 4 and enjoyed it mostly. Always considered getting into the series but not had time. Been trying to play through the tales of series, final fantasy games and trails series leaves me with little time for any other jrpgs... Should I go for this or kingdom hearts?

@joeblogs I'm not really. It's supposed to be about the same as the vita and apparently the suspend function is nearly as good as the vita so it'll be fine

Ooo tempted by this. After playing the 4th game always wanted to delve deeper into the series. Lets hope squenix finds some way of legally playing the first two.

This approach is why I buy games later. Why should I pay full price for a game, when in a year's time I can play the finished "complete" version? At a cheaper price usually. It's why I haven't bought ffxv.

That said I think it's good publishers are thinking more long term for sales strategies, rather than "this didn't sell 5m in a month so it's a failure. Cancel the sequel plans". Think longer term for sales, and use trophy info to see how many people actually finish your game instead!

I'd love a remake. was hoping they'd do 5 as well after the excellent remakes of 3 and 4 on DS.

Bit of a PSA. If you top up £25 through PayPal they'll give you an extra £5. Makes all those deals even more appealing

I think if they release Kiwami in the west a lot of people would try them. Make it digital only if necessary. I'm really wanting to play but put off by the fact I can't play the first two easily

This would be great except I keep getting error messages when I try to buy anything or top up my wallet! Sort it out Sony!
