World of Final Fantasy Maxima, the expanded edition of 2016’s twee role-playing release, has received a brand new trailer as part of TGS 2018 this week. The clip showcases some of the new features that you’ll find in the re-release, including the Avatar Change system which will allow you to play as classic Final Fantasy characters like Noctis and Lightning.

Do we know if I can add Maxima as DLC to the main game with a smaller price? I really like the game it but not to the point to pay full price again for it.

Why can't they just throw a patch into the original release game? Are FF fans that much of a bunch of suckers?

I'm sure I read that it would have dlc for ps4 and pc. I own the Vita version so not sure if that will get it or not
I think their bodies are slightly too big compared to their heads

@KidBoruto Thanks for the headsup the price is resonable, I may upgrade. Too bad I cannot upgrade my Vita port, it is understandable though.
@Flaming_Kaiser Why do you always pass on everything digital only, do you have slow internet speeds or is it sumthin else?
XB1 and Switch versions will have physical/retail releases so you do have that option.
@belmont They may eventually allow an upgrade option for Vita owners too, who knows?

I am 5 hours into the game and I'm loving it so much that I'm eager to play it forward but then I don't want to play it again just to experience the extras brought in by the maxima upgrade.
Should I wait for the upgrade which is due in 2 months? Worth the wait? Will the save file of WOFF work with Maxima?
