The world of Horizon Forbidden West while incredibly dangerous is one of my all time favs. I keep going back to it and just exploring, and swimming around!

Getting a bad feeling about the TV series overall. But Bautista might pull it off.

And people want to move to PC where this sort of thing is just another Tuesday?

I'm trying not to get suckered in by Tales of Berseria Remastered being on sale. In a bit of a gaming rut atm.

The fact that they can't confirm it and are still discussing the sku lineup well before Jan 2028 says all you need to know. It's obviously going to be a GKC on Switch 2 but they clearly want to move away from discs ASAP. I guess the "backlash" hasn't reached Square Enix yet.

@LordOfTurnips @twitchtvpat i genuinely thought is was full priced at $70. That actually makes a difference for me.

$70 for a game that can be finished nin 7hrs with no multiplayer is a hard ask in 2026.

They'll organize everything EXCEPT to buy an actual disc.

I was worried about ther performance being an UE5 game but once it's OK I'm back on board.

Belive it or not I've spent alot time playing Digimon Up on mobile (sacrilegious but I'm a Digimon fan) it's entertaining for what it is.
Back on PS5 I went and re-downloaded Foamstars and looked for a match and I found a few! But only on the Japan server 😅 Game is still fun. I've also picked up the FF6 Pixel Remaster and playing thst here and there.
Aside from the big game on Sunday thats it.

@KillerIsD34D Genuine question here not trying to start a war: Why sell your collection that you already own and can play on hardware you already have? I get not wanting to support going forward but this policy change doesn't affect what you already have.

I'm kinda on a Horizon kick as I played around in Forbidden West and now went back to HZD Remastered and liked it. But the Square Enix sale got me to purchase Final Fantasy 6 Pixel Remaster so I may try that out later today. I've fallen off of The Adventures of Elliot even though I'm close to the end (28hrs so far)

Glad this finally got added. I'm going to hop back in and finsh some side quest that popped up right before the final boss.

Hopefully they will have some good announcements that won't be afraid of GTA6 stealing the headlines.

I'll never go to PC. It's more expensive, full of hackers and every other game has serious performance/optimization issues and stutter. The only way PC ends up being cheaper is if you Pirate all your games.

Which will come first? The Elder Scrolls 6 or the Oblivion Remastered patch. It's anybody's race atp

I voted for Elliot as I'm 28 hrs in. Its good, but I'm growing tired of it. But I am about to begin the final quest so my opinion may change.

I hopped back in Horizon Forbidden West on a whim and MAN is that game incredible still! I platinumed it years ago but still found a relic in an area I had never been to before. The forced hate for that game was off the charts!
I'm still going to finish the Adventures of Elliot but it is waning a bit.

I'll say this again: If you want to boycott PS6 for no discs then I hope you boycott GTA6 for no discs. If you're not then ask yourself why.

@twitchtvpat I know, that's kinda my point. No one will ACTUALLY do what would make Sony think about changing this. Thats how we ended up here in the 1st place.
I'm not complaining because I understand how we got here and I'm not going to glaze Physical media like it didn't have its own issues. But it is still sad.

Well let's see how many boycott the Digital-only GTA 6. That will surely show we prefer physical discs right?

I've been playing The Adventures of Elliot and so far I'm enjoying it with roughly 16 hrs counting the demo progress. The dungeon bosses are highlights. Enjoy the weekend all!

@Member_the_game Sadly Nintendo and the industry at large won't see it that way. They will just see that "we got away with it" and try it again when they think things have cooled down enough. Like the Outer Worlds 2.

@Oldstalk That honestly sucks. I have been using a US PSN account and paying no more than $70USD for new PS5 titles but I see what you mean.

I'm at the final boss but paused for the onslaught of side quests that popped up. I'm glad they finally are adding 60 fps and photomode. Late but welcomed!

EDIT: I guess its a Sony mandate to stop PS4 ports Cause if Time Stranger is getting a Switch 1 release why not PS4?

@get2sammyb I enjoyed the demo for Elliot but want to wait for reviews to be sure about length and combat depth ect. When does the review embargo lift?

Having nearly burned out on JRPGs after 154hrs and 1 trophy to go before platinuming Octopath Traveler 0 I downloaded Rise of the Tomb Raider from PS Plus to give it go. I still need to fire up Crimson Desert tho.

@Flaming_Kaiser The thing is I bought the Oblivion Remaster months after it dropped when it was on sale for $35 and STILL the memory leak issue wasn't patched out. To this day it's still a problem well after a full year.

@LastNorth_16 Agreed. I'd like to think most actual devs want to respond quickly to issues. I'm assuming it's some management/publisher politics that prevents faster patches of some titles. But I really hope PA was the industry (and gamers) wake up call that it doesn't take 6-18 months to fix bugs.

I just downloaded Crimson Desert's Weekly Patch ( are you taking notes Bethesda?) with new content. It's pathetic that a studio with Bethesda's resources took this long to address this but hey, it's still better than the Oblivion Remaster.
