Having been delayed out of its previously planned October release on PS5, No Rest for the Wicked has now nailed down March 2027 as its release month.

Remember, this is the arrival of version 1.0, which stands to be a significant update on the early access build that's currently available on other platforms.

1.0 brings a class system to the game, alongside faction-based questlines, and loads of other additions, reworks, and tweaks.

As the press release reads, "Wicked’s 1.0 update will roughly double the size of the game."

You can see a lot of this stuff in action via the developer showcase below.

Just to recap, Moon Studios delayed 1.0 because it simply didn't want to rush things — and it probably didn't fancy going up against a stupidly busy release schedule (although January through March 2027 isn't looking particularly quiet right now).

So the suggestion here is that by the time March rolls around, everything should be good to go. Here's hoping that the team delivers on a vision that's been in the works for over a decade at this point.
