I'm going to be catching up on some much needed Sleep after work today. But should the moment present it self ill be continuing Unicorn Overlord. I bought the game and I'm about 25hrs in and it's great!

@colonelkilgore Nice choices. TFU2 is great but I cant pass up an opportunity to recommend FF 13. It's one of my favs and it really good once you give it a chance.

Welp after getting pretty far into Bloodborne (I beat Micolash) I gave it up for lack of interest. Just wasn't very compelling to play for me 🙈 So I tried the Unicorn Overlord Demo and after 8hrs I bought the full game so I'll be playing that this weekend and until Sparking Zero releases.

@PeakUnagi they did make some improvements to gameplay and added a new mode but the que for anything other than the main game mode is so empty that you can't properly try out the new modes. Hoping for more players in October.

IF I get to play anything at all, I'm close to finishing Bloodborne and I started a Rena playthrough of Star Ocean 2 Remake. I did want to try our Lego Star Wars so I downloaded and installed it but haven't started it yet.

FFXIII is one of my favorite FF! Wish they would remaster is for PS5.

Welp I jumped back into Star Ocean 2 Remake and it's just as good as I remember. Gonna wrap up a Claude playthrough and probably start Rena run right after. But I have to play more Bloodborne too so there is that. Plus it's a long weekend for me so I'll try out the PS Plus games for the month.
All after the Olympic closing ceremony can't belive it done already! 🥺

Like everyone else I was hoping for a sequel to The Order 1886. This is really sad but not unexpected. I hope the devs can join some SIE teams cause they are talented for sure.

Welp I'm debating whether to continue in Bloodborne or finish other games like Star Ocean 2 Remake or try the Visions of Mana demo. It's probably just me but I'm finding the Reward part of the Risk/Reward loop is a bit lacking.

I'll also be watching the Olympics.

Ender Lilies looks really cool but Lego Star wars is pretty nice too.

I feel this was a mistake on Sony's part to have a massive Lego game on PS Plus mere months before Lego Horizon releases. For me I was gonna by Lego Horizon to play coop with my wife but now I can do that at no extra cost, and will probably be burnt out on Lego games by the time Aloy arrives

A Friend screenshared this with me when it came out but I literally forgot all about it till I saw this article 🤣 Yeah It wasn't the best.

This is my most anticipated game of the year. It looks phenomenal. They almost have me contemplating the deluxe version for the 3 days early acces.... ALMOST.

Welp I have Finshed Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and it was awesome! Definitely my GOTY so far. On a whim I started Bloodborne and just beat Daddy Gastro Coin last night. I have thoughts and feelings on the game but overall I'm enjoying it. Star Ocean 2 Remake is still on the back burner (mostly cause I forgot where I was and what I was doing) but I intend to beat it before my next game purchase which is Sparking Zero

Having recently started Bloodborne (got tired of waiting for a Remaster) and having played and enjoyed both Salt and Sanctuary and Salt and Sacrifice I can confidently say yes they need to slow it down. Too many Souls-likes are killing they genre. But on occasion they csn be a nice change of pace so they shouldn't disappear completely.

Let's be honest if not for Souls-like we would have to rely on FromSofr completely and they just don't want to modernize in some aspects. Souls-like do a great job of showing us what FromSoft refuse to, for better or worse.

I'm in the Temple of the Ancients in Rebirth I may actually finish this game this weekend! If I do I'll have to find another game to play, probably Star Ocean 2 Remake

@MickOnYourFace You'll spend alot of time in the game for sure but it eases you in quite nicely, like a warm bath that slowly rises in temperature.

Honestly this is one of the best games of last gen given the improvements and feedback they took into account. But because it once overheated 2 different PS4s I owned I don't want to play it on PS5 😅

My faith in this community has proved true! This is pretty much my person list.

Definitely trying to make some progress in Rebirth this weekend. Looking at Dragonquest 3 Remake footage has me slightly disappointed with it but also wanting to play it so I might jump back into Star Ocean 2 Remake instead 😅

Hoping to play some Rebirth this weekend. Didn't play anything last weekend due to the Hurricane.

For me it Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Despite its frustrating overabundance of minigames when it shines it REALLY shines and is a brilliant retelling of FF7 and is pretty much what we all dreamed a Remake could be. But sometimes you gotta he careful what you wish for.
