Welp I've been sucked into Oblivion Remastered and it's taking over my consciousness. I'm only 12hrs in and level 6 but not 1 single oblivion gate has been opened yet 🤣

I will probably play some MH Wilds with the boys later today. Between MH Oblivion and eventually platinuming HZD Remastered I should be good till my planned double feature of Ghost Yotei/Digimon Story Time Stranger in October.

We're in danger of becoming too complacent and just expecting there to be FREE GOW Valhalla-level post content nowadays. We really have to appreciate these more cause it's not a given.

When he said "Trilogy" was he including Festival of Blood? Cause that would be absolute FIRE 🔥 at 60fps on PS5.

This is just plain mismanagement by the higher-ups. This also makes more performance patches unlikely if the Devs are either laid off or protesting.

I just bought this 3 days ago, having a great time but the performance and hitches is deplorable. I HOPE this patch came improve it somewhat, but judging by DF and the previous comments I will likely be disappointed.

I'll take GOW:Anubis for $200 Alex.

@kyleforrester87 Welp, I caved. I'll probably spend the day in the character creator and tomorrow actually start playing. This, HZD Remastered and the occasional MH wilds quest will take me till Ghost of Yotei and Digimon Story Time Stranger release in October 🫡

I understand that the GAAS titles need all the players they can get and this is the only successful one Sony has. For it to even have a chance at Apex Legends levels of success it needs to be multiplat. But Xbox is basically dead so I'm not sire it will gain thst much. Plus it rubs the PS fan base the wrong way.

I can understand the reasoning behind it but it's still weird. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I always make a point of cleaning my PS5 before a major release. It can get pretty dusty in there.

Having finally Platinumed Unicorn Overlord I'm going back to HZD Remastered this weekend. TU 2 for Monster Hunter Wilds is on Monday so I'll go back to that as well.

@Questionable_Duck Yeah same here, I would have loved 60fps but its not a deal breaker. I'm still gonna get the game and enjoy it.

@Questionable_Duck Yeah they Cleary were targeting PS4 given when development started and I guess they didn't bother with trying for 60fps. But the game looks great!

I'm just a few hours of gameplay away from the Platinum trophy for Unicorn Overlord! Will our hero actually GET those few hours to play this weekend?

The argument of " exclusivity hurt it cause the hype died down" doesn't seem to apply to FF7 Remake on Switch 2 as people wont stop talking about it even thought its not out yet. Also somehow all the complaints about Remake have evaporated and people love it now. They use this logic selectively.

This weekend I'm hoping to wrap up (who am I kidding?) Unicorn Overlord. I'm now officially 100hrs in. Will likey also dip back into the Frozen Wilds DLC of HZD Remastered cause I forgot how good that dlc was.

@Ravix Have you tries the Demos for Octopath Traveler 2 or Unicorn Overlord? They might be different enough to entice you and there are fairly long (3hrs and 8hrs respectively) so you can get a good feel for the games.

I'm off work for a couple days so I'll be catching up on my Sleep Backlog 😴. But also continuing HZD Remastered as I'm starting to get back into the story. I put Ghost of Tsushima on pause for the time being.

@Anya-chan I would do the same but reality and history has shown me I can only really focus on one game at a time 😔 and with FF Tactics remaster just days before both of these there is no hope.

MAN that release date SUX! I'll be getting Yotei but I want to play this eventually. I'm not happy about how many games shown today are all within a month of eachother 😕

This was very good. Sad part is so many games launching in September I'm sure there will be cannibalizing eachother.

Boring week for me as I'm fighting that weird mental state of wanting to play awhile at work then not wanting to play my games when I finally get the chance.

That said I have bounced between MH Wilds, Ghost of Tsushima (finshed Iki island story) and HZD Remastered

I did my part! After seeing the Series finale of Andor I had to join the rebellion.

I jumped back into MH Wilds to get
that cool Dragoncloth Scarf and I'm intrigued by this Akuma armor that's part of the SF collab next week so I might play a bit more. I did finish the Iki Island story and need to continue on in Ghost of Tsushima PS5 to get the the plat again.

I'm finally getting in a groove with the Iki island expansion in Ghost of Tsushima Directors Cut and beginning to enjoy it. Once I eventually finish the game (plan to platinum it again) I'll head back to finish off and platinum Unicorn Overlord Maybe by then the Oblivion Remaster will be patched and playable and I'll buy it.

@KundaliniRising333 100% agreed! UE5 is not as great as we were leas to believe and needs serious optimization to run well on consoles its was supposedly designed around. Add on top of that Bethesda work ethic for optimizations and you have the current state of Oblivion Remastered

Been playing Ghost of Tsushima Directors Cut on PS5 still. Might hop back into HZD Remastered as well. Kind of on a PS4 replay tour atm.

Welp, I decided to buy the PS5 upgrade for Ghost of Tsushima Directors Cut and replay it from the beginning since I haven't played it in years and never finished the Ikl Island expansion. I also teamed up withe buddy to fight Arch Tempered Rey Dau in MH Wilds. GREAT fight!

@B0udoir Yeah this is likely a PC-player only situation but as was mentioned by @WiiWareWave that game is cross play so PS5 and Xbox players have no chance at getting near the top of the leader boards.

Diving into MH Wilds Title Update 1 this weekend. I don't expect I'll play anything else.
