78hrs into Octopath Traveler 0 and no signs of stopping, save a brief jaunt into Cyradill. Will I ever finish this game?

At work now so I can't watch till lunch but I'm very interested in this game and hope it lives up to the hype. Will have to wait for reviews just in case.

Launching on the same day (March 19) as the increasingly promising Crimson Desert wasn't really great so this is probably a smart move.

Yup, it's more Octopath Traveler 0 as I'm now about 70hrs in. But I also dabbled in a like Oblivion Remastered after a long break. Happy gaming everyone!

Nothing new for me I'm afraid. Was sick for a week so I haven't played anything 😔 I'll probably go back to Octopath Traveler 0 and HZD Remastered though.

Octopath Traveler 0 has been fantastic these past 57hrs. I actually had played alot of the mobile game a few years ago but the amount of new content they've added makes it feel like a new experience.

For me, I want to buy better games this year. By that I mean not getting swept up by hype only to be disappointed with a purchase ( Triangle Strategy )

I feel bad that I've set Digimon Story Time Stranger aside but I'm really engrossed in Octopath Traveler 0 it's really really good!

Ah yes, the Expedition 33 of yester-year! I haven't played this but it would be perfect on Vita. I'll put it on my wishlist.

I'm wading through Octopath Traveler 0 right now and enjoying it after 26hrs. I also hopped on MH Wilds to fight Gogmazios with a friend so I'll probably do that some more this weekend.

Hey I actually have this platinum! Earned on April 27th 2016. It's the only 'Borderlands game' I've played but I enjoyed the story.

This will be an Octopath Traveler 0 weekend, just started Ch. 1 of the Master of Wealth.

I haven't played this game much at all but I remember when it was annouced at the PS4 event right after I think Infamous Second Son. Once again, love the article Stephen. Bring on Plat #3!

My Anniversary was this week so gaming was put on hold but I did buy Octopath Traveler 0 so I'll eventually start that while continuing on in the increasingly enjoyable Digimon Story Time Stranger! After just under 90hours of olay I have PLATINUMED Ghost of Yotei! Definitely my GOTY.
I'm going back to Digimon Story Time Stranger as I'm 41hrs in but only at the Forrest area. But as I'm getting an extra day off before my Anniversary I'm going to get Octopath Traveler 0 on launch day.

The "real-time with pause" hybrid gameplay mentioned isn't new, it's just new to JRPGs. Transistor had this back in 2014 and Strategy games before that. I have to say I'm quite pleased with current JRPGs though. It's been a great time for the genre over the past 5 yrs or so.

I'm 80% and 80hours into the fantastic Ghost of Yotei which is currently my personal GOTY. After I finish it I'll go back fully to Digimon Story Time Stranger.

I have the demo for Octopath Traveler 0 installed as I suspect I'll buy that eventually, but perhaps after launch.

@Oram77 Here Here! Regardless of what TGA panel thinks Yotei is one of the best game of 2025. I'm 76 hrs in and just got to the Oshima Coast.

@Dalamar TBF the Horizon Remake was an actual Remake. You can't mistake HZD PS4 with the PS5 release. This barely qualifies as a Remaster.

So basically this is a PS4 Pro patch cause didn't the game already run at 60? Nothing about that trailer screams "PS5 title" to me.

EDIT: it indeed ran at 50-60 fps on base PS4 buy there was already a PS4 Pro patch. Still underwhelming from a technical standpoint when the PS4 Pro version will run on PS5 Back-Compat.

@AdamNovice the amount of Snubbs this year is horrendous. DS2 didn't even get any performance nominations, Troy Baker got a nomination for Indiana Jones but not Higgs 🤦🏾‍♂️ Not to mention Yotei

Hoping to play ALOT of Ghost of Yotei this weekend and get close to finishing it I'm 64hrs in and only 2 of the Six are I the ground. I tried out the Octopath Traveler 0 demo for a little bit but I'll go back to it later. The Voice acting sounded very compressed to me.

@Ralizah Apparently there are lot of those people, or people still on PS4. People who would play Monster Hunter Wilds for example but PS5 was too expensive for them.
All in all this is good as Sony is clearly trying to compete with Nintendo in Japan and not just giving up.

@Ralizah I disagree. The performance improvements alone make any cross-platform game compelling compared to SW2 versions. Elden Ring Night Reign isn't on Switch 2 so there is that.

@Ralizah This was basically a commercial aimed squarely at the Japanese market to encourage them to buy a PS5. They showed off what games they think Japanes gamers would be interested in and they annouced a Cheaper PS5. This wasn't for us.

Super excited for the Octopath Traveler 0 demo, and for the Japanese market getting a PS5 that's almost the exact same price as Switch 2 in Japan. Hopefully more people will get it.

Not surprised as Jin and the Samurai code would resonate with many more than a revenge tale would. But Yotei overall is such an incredible experience.

Glad we get to play both of these amazing games!

I played some more Digimon Story Time Stranger but this weekend is for me to (hopefully) complete Ghost of Yotei and start working on the platinum.

@Krlozgod LOL not yet. I don't get why its only 30fps but I can say that it honestly does make that big of difference in this game. I still wish it was there though.

Thankfully I haven't encountered any of these bugs but glad they got fixed. I really hope this game sold well cause I'm thoroughly enjoying it! 😃

I'm knee deep in Digimon Story Time Stranger and still loving it. I'm running what I call my Devils Rejects team: LadyDevimon, IceDeviemon and Lucemon.

I still enjoying Ghost of Yotei and will probably finish it in the next 2 weeks. My personal GOTY
