Very interesting results. Shocked at DQ3 and Sparking Zero being as low as they are. But as @EfYI said there is something (or 2) for everyone this year.

I'll be interested to see if the internet darlings translate to actual sales.

I completed all World Intel for Cosmo Canyon in Rebirth and I'm thinking about bumming around Junon next. Might be battling a Hurricane on Monday though so gaming will be cut short.

Most excited for Lego Horizon and Sparking Zero followed by DQ3 HD2D. I honestly don't think I'll have the time to play any other games.

August is PACKED this year. I might not be able to play this till 2025 😖

I would think that most gamers where getting ready for the dlc by playing the game and therefore should be used to the level of difficulty. Is it really THAT MUCH more difficult or are people just not used to it yet?

New Seqson of Foamstars just started but I'm not sure I like the changes or the new character. I need to get back to Rebirth as I paused to play Monster Hunter World again. And I'm watching the US Olympic Trials.

Absolutely fantastic game! The story was gripping and more "a fantasy based on reality" than XV was. The characters felt very human to me. The music was top notch and the gameplay was epic. I was happy with the lack of minigames as I'm drowning in the in Rebirth, Side content could have been better tho. In my top 3 FF games of all time.

@Ralizah Yeah I realize people are buying consoles. The evergreen nature of these few after 6+ years is just astonishing.

I jumped back into MH World and it's still fantastic! I Prefer it to Rise. Still dabbling in Foamstars from time to time and I'll get back to Rebirth soon. It's almost Olympic Trials time!

If they're worried about artistic integrity then just do a PS5/PC remaster then annouce Fromsoft is developing Bloodbourne 2.

@PsBoxSwitchOwner @BacklogBrad @K1llegal I guess that might explain MS closing the studio somewhat. Hellblade 2 is very likely next. Sadly this just reinforces the live service argument when unique single player games cant hold on the a fraction of their audience but we all put hundreds of hours into repetitive gameplay loops.

Live Services (when they're good) are really the perfect game but time is limited for many of us.

@ShogunRok True, that's how I got into Monster Hunter. Of all the games that got PS5 ports I didnt expect Sea of Thieves to be the break hit but cleary Skull and Bones did not fill the gap it was intended to fill.

Interesting that while Sea of Thieves topped the charts HiFi Rush didnt appear at all.

I'm hoping they can patch in a better split screen implementation down the road but I'll take what I can get. Game looks fantastic.

Jumped into MH Rise a bit after the MH Wilds trailer and I gotta say: World is still better 😛
I did play around in Horizon Forbidden West too just cause the Lego Horizon announcement has me hyped.

@Bez87 😅 Fair point! I didnt mention it cause I thought it was Steam only. I just now read on IGN that is multiplatform so now I'm stoked! I have 3 friends who immediately said this is a day 1 for them so I'm building up my ranger team!

Not very exciting. Neva and Lego Horizon were highlights for me personally but the MH Wilds trailer was a big letdown and there were alot of Steam only games. Glad Sparking Zero has What If scenarios at least.

Gonna get this yo play with my wife as she isnt a gamer (yet) Switch was a surprise to be sure but makes alot of sense given the target audience of this game. I'm excited to play it on PS5 😀

I'm definitely interested in this game. Alittle surprised it's not on PS4 as well but no big deal.

@GamingFan4Lyf Yes exactly. Apparently they made the characters interact more and there stories connect more in OT2 in response to criticism from the 1st game.

New stories would nice to experience and this is the gsme that started it all.

Yes, and I have not gone back to play FF1-6 as I'm jot sure I'd enjoy them 😶

@GamingFan4Lyf honestly I'm happy PS is finally getting OT1 but I feel it might be too little too late. I played and loved OT2 so I'm finding it hard to want to play the game that has all the "problems" that the sequel fixed. I feel like it would be taking a step back in a way if you understand what I mean. I still want to experience it but this late on from original release I feel no urgency. 🤷🏾‍♂️

As for gaming this weekend iv already played a few matches in Foamstars new season. Hoping to get back to Rebirth as I'm about to enter Mt Nibel. And still holding out hope of playing a little coop Salt and Sacrifice with the lads.

No one worries that using a VPN to watch streaming services "violates ToS" they just do it and the companies dont really care cause they get money.

Consider this: any person who play CoD on GP at no extra cost would have paid $70 for it in any other year plus MXT. So unless that person spent $70 in GP subscriptions that month MS is still getting less money that they would otherwise.

Consider too that even is MS SAYS they "only need 2.5 mill subs in a month" (for how many months?) we all know GP isnt sustainable. Tango got closed down for making a hit with a budget that's a fraction of a CoD game. How long before GP bleeds CoD dry? Those remaining Activision exec's are not gonna sit still and watch their baby shrivel up and die.

Anyone remember MoviePass? They did this same thing GP is doing but with movie tickets and look where that got em.

Ms is really gonna tank the biggest franchise in gaming just to try to prove a point.

Putting it on GP will de-value it in the eyes of gamers and the profits will dip. Then when they eventually stop putting it on GP day and date they will have already trained a subset of the audience that it's not worth full price and the sales number will still be lower than before.

Same ole soup, just warmed up for me: playing Rebirth and maybe a dash of Foamstars if I have time. There really are too many mini games in Rebirth.

Was hoping to maybe do alittle Coop in Salt and Sacrifice with a friend but that seems unlikely.
