Looking to continue playing Onimusha. Not sure how far I am in the game but I'm having a ton of fun with it.

I will be playing one of the greatest video games ever made in the excellent ghost of tsushima director cut.and I will be playing one of the best fps games ever made in the incredible fallout 4 game of the year edition. I will be watching my pittsburgh steelers 💛 🖤 play.nfl season is back. Oh yeah.i will be watching legendary sitcoms TV 📺 comedy shows in family matters.good times.the Jeffersons.sanford and son.different strokes.martin.the wayans brothers.married with children.and saved by the bell.word up son

I’m near the end syberia 3, it’s enjoyable but kinda bad, after that’s wrapped up i’ll start syberia the world before, i hear it’s allegedly good.

I keep having moments of 'is this the same game?', it's got a little of everything and I've never seen anything like it before. It's been weeks and I'm still in the starter area doing quests and frequently finding new mechanics.

• Battling mighty Mice and putting the beatdown on tough Tomcats in Mewgenics

I don't really know how to explain the game in a way that isn't a little inappropriate, but I'll try.

It's a role-playing roguelike that uses tactics and smarts to defeat cats, rats, mice and other nefarious types. The idea is to breed an army of geared up and capable feline fighters, how do you breed such cats? Well that's a little tricky to explain, other than they get down to funky town. And speaking of Funky Town the game has a really unique score that sounds like a mix of lounge music and jazz, I keep finding myself singing along to tracks like 'Cat fight, cat fight tonight, nunchucks, switchblades, alright, baseball bats and sharp spikes, step off, or there's gonna be a cat fight, got cat? let's fight' and 'Bones littered at my feet, all I've got is rats to eat, I'm not the cat you wanna meet, what's your business on my street?', it's a brilliant score.

The game also has a very simple and straight forward house management system. When not out in the world your cats (come the moonlight) will either get funky with each other and a kitten will be born (a rough looking one that would give Quasimodo a run for his money) or they'll fight and it will be cat Thunderdome. Strays also arrive, and they are equally rough looking. Under all that grime and jazz is a really clever genetics system. Each kitten can inherit it's Parents traits, meaning a really fun and random set of skills and stats (mutations) collars can also be unlocked to form a squad of cat clerics/ mangey mages/ dank damage dealers/ and tubby tanks, trinkets can also be gathered on each adventure.

There are also random events such as 'will you eat this unknown fleshy substance on the ground?', bosses offer unique challenges and because your cats eventually get retired (recycled, down the pipe) each run is different, strays and offspring really keep the game fresh. Returning from the overworld map with your paws full of loot is a lot of fun, the tactical elements are just enough of a challenge to allow for some out of the cardboard box thinking.

Combat is done through a ten by ten tactical grid, there are ten unlockable classes (I know from my time on Steam) all kinds of fun abilities and elements to play around with. It's rather simplistic but that's the beauty of the game, it doesn't have the adrenaline of a Vampyre Survivors, it's more laidback and definitely respects pace. Permadeath also keeps things interesting, but it's really hard to run out of cats. And for anyone wondering I tested it on the Portal too, it plays like it was built for a handheld, responsive, and gorgeous. It also features a well designed and humorous tutorial. I might also be testing Valheim, I've played both games on PC and Valheim was a lot of fun and fully viable solo. So that's about it happy gaming weekend Folks 🍵

Mostly Onimusha and Dawnwalker, but I’ve been working my way through FFIV too, so I might throw some of that in if I have some down time.

ZERO COMPANY: unlocked second specialisations. So Hawks is now a Heavy/Assault operator. Run into combat using Bull Rush, taunt and retaliate. Easy peasy. Game is great but I'm getting a little tired of enemies constantly getting reinforcements in a mission. It's okay for some side content to be quick. Not every fight needs to be padded by adding half a dozen B1 Droids.

It Takes Two: near the end I think. Trying to turn the relation-***** into a relation-Ship (little Hakim jiggles as I say it). It deserves all the awards it got. Freaking love these coop games. Will try to get Orbitals soon.

Today or tomorrow i will buy Wolverine. I am in the mood for something more blockbuster-y after these puzzle based games.

Finishing Onimusha and then may finally start Dawnwalker.

• I was ready this time, I had fun trying to summarize Mewgenics it gave me a project to work on, then it was the wait of 'will it pop tonight again?'. Are you injecting any Metal into your weekend or is it too early to tell? The Cure is keeping me company tonight while I wander through Crimson Desert, not too heavy.

On PS5 I've recently started Code Vein 2 and Full Metal Schoolgirl, so I will be continuing with those and working my way through ZZZ to try and get Claret.

On Switch 2 I will be hoping to finish with Splatoon Raiders and Star Fox Remake, then onto finishing Shuten Order.

Toxic Commando! It's beat my low expectations by quite a bit. It a lot of fun!

Just finished Plague Tale Requiem really enjoyed it. I've now started Trails in the sky first chapter only played about an hour so far looking forward to getting stuck in in the morning. I'm near the end of Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined on Switch hopefully finish that this weekend.

I was going to play Wolverine, but I hear there’s no need as it plays itself … ba dum tss.

Jesting aside, some multiplayer fun in a handful of games, the classic go to fare that many here detest more than a cheese grater to the nipple.

Then diving into The Witcher series because, well, I clearly have more of a free weekend than I planned. I have no idea if I’ll mesh with it, but a fair few claim it’s rather good.

Then going out on the motorbike, where me and the missus shall be doing some archery and rock claiming apparently. Which I’ll be crossing my fingers that it has nothing to do with life insurance.

I got the weekend off. So I’m gonna try to get in as much as I can. It will be WWE 2K26, Pragmata, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider for my Sony fix. Fatal Fury COTW on Series X.

Wooo, Another Friday Night WAYP! I'm STILL playing the delightful Star Wars Zero Company 41hrs in. It's the beat SW game I've played in almost 10 years. Also watching CPL T20 Cricket. After that it will the FF Resonance Demo

Warframe got me by the dangles! So much to grind through!

I just finished the platinum for Mortal Shell 2, which stands in my top three GOTY right now. So next up is Onimusha WOTS and when I need a break from that I purchased Midnight Fight Express in a sale recently. I may also return to some smaller indie games as well. Just balancing it all until Control Resonant later this month!

@Onearmbandit I have a stomach bug/infection, I prefer your heavy Devy bug, Avatar is a good choice. Northern_Munkey helped me get into Zed Zeppelin this week so I'll be over the hills and far away with a whole lotta love on that stairway to Heaven, with a black dog by side rambling on. I might also try The Grateful Dead, I haven't tried them before and I'm curious.

Some people recommended some great music here recently. I knew of Jimmy Page, but I'd never really sat down and listened to Zeppelin until he mentioned some tracks, I ended up listening to every album they ever released. I'll be fitting in some Nick Cave, Tom Waits and the man in black himself Johnny Cash. Have a great weekend, nice to hear from you again.
