Sucker Punch has pushed out a ~1.2GB patch for last week’s Ghost of Yotei: Complete Edition, cleaning up some bugs and unexpected black screen errors. Ironically, the expanded re-release is now even closer to being, well, complete.

Writing on social media, the Seattle-based studio said:

“Patch 2.07 for Ghost of Yotei is now live. This patch further corrects bugs causing lost or blocked progress in Most Wanted, as well as fixing a bug where players could get stuck on a black screen after certain missions in Echoes of Sekigahara. Issues resulting in certain content not being marked as complete have also been resolved, as well as various other bug and crash fixes.”

Most Wanted is the historical action game’s new roguelike-inspired mode, which my colleague Rob strongly recommended in his review.

Echoes of Sekigahara, meanwhile, is the title’s new story-based expansion, which digs into heroine Atsu’s history a little deeper.

While these are pretty minor bugs in the grand scheme of things, you’ll want to have v2.0.7 installed so you don’t hit any of the abovementioned black screens or progress blockers.

Have you been playing Ghost of Yotei’s new update at all? What are your thoughts on it overall? Let me know below.
