Professor Layton Debuts on PS5 This December, New World of Steam Gets Release Date

How on earth is this going to play like without a touch screen?

I am kind of still adjusting to this “everything releases everywhere” era. This feels very weird but, hey, Layton games are cool.

I want Tintin in 8k @ 1000 fps. When is that going to happen. I am getting old. Can anyone help me? Now where did I put my fibre drink?

I never expected to see this series on a Sony platform. I see it all of the time on the Nintendo Store.

Still no mention of whether they'll be an English voice over, and having no one speaking in the English trailer doesn't bode well.

The English voices were quite charming in the old games, would be sad not to see them back.

Prof Layton games work well on handhelds. Be interesting to see how well the formula and mechanics translate to different platforms.

Yeah, I'll get it on Switch 2. Layton without touch controls would feel weird.

@BeastfromtheEast If the PS5 Handheld comes out next year maybe it will be a better fit.

Own all of the main series games. That one is a must have. These games are really good break from all this open world third person action games. But I’ll wait for PC release.

@ShadowRJ Like any point and click game does, or Ace Attorney, or Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, or Pillars of Eternity. There are lots of games on PS5 that have a cursor you move with the analogue stick.
