@Playstationdemodisc things are slighly a lot more money to run games , also the ps3 network was hacked and the ps3 online system was actually horrible.

@Justinbeebs the price hike is only for new subscribers not people that already have a subscription , kind of silly to cancel somthing you would have to pay for if you had canceled and then got a new subscription. also 12 month subs didn't go up from my understanding.

@Waluigi451 its because those games have microtransactions that make way more money then what sever would cost them.

@LifeGirl look at most of the comments they are trolls with fake out rage comments. they don't even play playstation yet they are here on a playstation site talking about how great pc gaming is.

@PuppetMaster lost soul aside was a game they helped fund but is not their ip? not 100% on what they own from it , but i heard they did a bunch of updates to fix the game up , so its not as much of a mess then when it first came out , at some point im going to try it out.

@S1ayeR74 yes but even after she said that mulitple stories came out saying xbox has no plans on stopping ps5 game development , however its more possible you won't see day of releases instead of having the ps5 copy on delay. i'll double the post since i didn't want to respond twice , but the mess Hurman had to deal with when he was promoted i think he did a decent job. every one wants him to bring back this game or that game , but the reality is games cost tons of money , with some games costing over 9 figures. its just not realistic to make certain games ( as much as we want them including me) when not enough people are going to support and buy that game at launch and full price.

@S1ayeR74 im pretty sure ms will still put games on ps5 , if anything i could see a delay like they are doing with forza , and release it later on for ps5, but they aren't going to leave money on the table.

asobi would be perfect for ape escape , wasn't people may fly working on a sony ip? i'm guessing that could be a shooting game , killzone or resistance would be interesting , infamous 1+2 remake with sucker punch / nixxes doing it would be cool, we've already seen uncharted rumors as well, and rachet and clank , we are getting the god of war remakes , so the infamous remakes would make sense.

this only really means they are going full on with their next game, yet people complain there isn't enough first party games , but they want the studios to keep supporting a game instead of make new ones? make it make sense.

unless they are going to help out with the rummored infamous remakes , i could imagine them teaming up with nixxies for the remakes ( assuming its true).

@CutchuSlow maybe they'll have that but this is the number of people playing during a week , so it makes sense maybe during a 2-3 week window of a single players game release that game would be up there in that list, but after that it will prob in number of people playing till it hits a sale.

kind of crazy , and yes i know every rumor ever should be taken with a grain of salt but we've heard rumors of uncharted , and now recently the infamous rumors have made their way around again. hopefully we see trailers of silent hill 1 remake , re:code veronica remake as well soon.

the most i can see is maybe they'll delay ps5 games after the xbox / pc release , but i can't see them scrapping ps5 games and leaving all that money on the table.

@D6rkLordS6t6n i thought pragmata was worth checking out if you area looking for a new ip from capcom though. and onimusha isn't exactly a new ip , but i'm sure it will feel like a new one since its been so long since the last one.

@BrokenByTheScream wrong, dead rising 3 was only on pc and xbox , dead rising 3 remake/remaster on the ps5 would be great, it was a very good game imo.

@D6rkLordS6t6n would you rather they leave ip's and not make games ? remakes bring new ppl to the series that didn't play those games , improve older games , increases the chances of new games in those series as well.

you actually think a 1k pc build beats a ps5 pro? cmon lol, thats just non sense when there are tons of youtube videos that easily disprove this. with ram prices , ect , even gpu prices are still pretty high you are looking around at least 2,000 dollars. you are littearlly talking to some one that also has a gaming pc along with a ps5 pro.

@BAMozzy yes and no. its still a luxury hobby , cheaper then getting a high end gaming rig though. as some one that has a gaming rig , i'd rather play on my ps5 pro , which you'd have to invest twice money to get something like that in a gaming rig.

@get2sammyb it was mostly because the ps3 was so difficult to make games for it , a lot of the 3rd party games ran so poorly vs the xbox 360 , which is why the 360 had gotten such a high head start over the ps3. but the first party studios were able to create these games that took advantage of the hardware.

this fall is going to be so loaded , im gonna have to find time to play any of them lol.

@Snackfood as long as i'm locked into the price i'm paying now , i'll keep my ps+ sub forever lol. ( knock on wood).

@SilentS it still counts as a sale , if they are shipped to the retailers , they buy the console off of sony , and the consumer buys it from that store , not from sony. even if it sits at the store unsold , the store still purchased it to sell at the store.

@For-Kier as some one who has a base ps5 in my bedroom and pro down stairs i can 100% tell the difference between the versions.

i'm surprised they didn't do a re-release of the ps2 with hdmi , bluetooth wireless controller support , built in hard drive for a ps2 store for ps2 and ps1 games. just so they can up the count again.

@The_Wailing_Doom that sounds more like pragmata then returnal , that sounds more enjoyable to me. you go back to the base and upgrade if you die.

@RadioHedgeFund i didn't even realize i sent you two different replies lol , my b, but my point was that there are plenty of games to play on the ps5. i would say having a ps5 pro , the games play and look better using that , so i have preferred to play most games on that console more then pc or xbox. i mean you can say that about most playstation eras , alot of consoles sold , but you look at sale numbers on software and they don't really match up with how many consoles are sold.

the way i hope it will be is a spiritual successor to heavenly sword but in the god of war universe

@RadioHedgeFund i mean people said the same about releasing a console during covid era , and the ps5 while game development has been delayed quite a bit , still sold very high.

@Balaam_ why do you ask for things you know isn’t and can’t happen ?

It can’t be me but every time new tech comes there is always some back lash to it , like people aren’t able to accept new things. If you hate ai or not you’ll have to accept some form of it as it’s clearly not going away. If it helps games get developed faster and used as a tool to aid devs I’m all for it.

@VarroxTergon73 it sounds like they invested a lot of money into bluepoint and they were dragging their feet , and couldn't actually handle being a full studio. it sounds like they were working on a game for years , and didn't really have much to show for it.

@W1ck3d_p i hear that , i was considering saros myself , but i didn't want to buy it while i'm in the middle of several games including pragmata. but i do think saros looks amazing.

@Stickleman i didn't think i would enjoy pragmata as much as i am enjoying it , i was kind of iffy buying it at first but i went for it , and i don't regret buying it at all , one of my favorite games this year.

@UltimateOtaku91 i'm pretty sure they invested in phantom blade zero and it looks amazing.

i bet these games will be crazy in vr , i'll have to consider it now.

@RobN honestly to me it looks like monster hunter combined with the world of horizon , sounds like a pretty good combo to me.

@ChikaBambus who said we weren't getting a 3rd game? i'm pretty positive they can do more then one game. which is why they hired extra staff to work on this project.

@Alpine not even the same studio that made days gone, so it wasn't between days gone 2 and this. i think you have your studios mixed up.

100% rockstar and sony are going to push this to the moon and its going to be a huge selling point for the ps5 pro.
