so 2026 looks pretty good , the only thing im worried is if they aren't showing certain projects right now , we won't see those games till 2027 or even 2028.

there was some cool stuff , pragmata getting a release date kind of was cool , suda51 new game looks great, a marvel fighting game exclusive was very not expected, also wasn't expecting nioh 3 either. so it was both great and a let down? can it be both? still no wolverine , no rumored god of war side game , still no corey's new ip , and still no firepsrite horror game.

edit: hot shots does look fun , mk collection has promise with some secret unannounced games in the collection , and the sword of the sea looks interesting too

guessing , prince of persia remake reddebut state of place, splinter cell remake full reveal will be at the xbox show case , and something assasins creed would be summerfest , either code hex or black flag remake , or even both.

@somnambulance i hope so , i'm a pretty big bioshock fan , so i have super high hopes on this , i'm sure they are feeling the pressure to produce a game to that type of quality. also there are rumors a new bioshock is going to be announced so it could end up being the same situation dead space remake and callisto project

Hopefully maybe Corey’s game finally gets revealed either that or firesprites horror game

I’m guessing it’s a few updates on announced games with maybe some game play a 3rd party debut ( maybe re9 ) and maybe a first party reveal.

@itsfoz I think you mean reveal as it was announced a few years ago but it sounds like it’s coming out well from people that have seen it

@Shad361 i'm guessing the sequel will come to pc sooner , but i would think it would still be timed on ps5 first and then pc.

i wanted to try the alone in the dark reboot , and with the playoffs going on right now , i've been wanting to play a basketball game , so both make it a great month for me. i just have that feeling no matter what games they include people are going to vote the same way every time and clearly the polls show that.

it looks fun , i'll check it out , i want games like this , i might have not checked it out before , but when its on ps+ you aren't really losing anything by trying it.

@PuppetMaster the leak isn't legit , maybe semi legit at the most , but it seems like a lot on the " leak " were more concepts of games then actual games. if people had access to developers logs , you'll see a lot of games don't make it out of the concept stage , or get scrapped early on before its even made public.

it had potential , but compared to other games , its too short , a good concept , looked amazing , i feel like if they improved on it and made it longer it could have been something great. it felt more a ps4 tech demo then a full game.

@wildcat_kickz i never played the sequel but myst is amazing and was way ahead of its time, i'd love to see a myst type game in 2025

@SuntannedDuck2 i mean there is console exclusive games like death stranding 2 , lost soul aside , and phantom blade zero to name a couple

@John_Deacon the problem with that is a lot of those games never sold , people say bring back killzone , resistance or infamous , but none of those games sold , i'm pretty sure the last resistance game sold 1.5 million copies.

@arsmolinarc thats were games like Stellar Blade , Lost Soul Aside and Phantom Blade Zero fill in those gaps.

i feel like the need to have certain events at certain times of the year is kind of done since there is no more e3, so sony can really have these things any time of the year.

@Godot25 well its been in development since 2020 , i never claimed it was 100% coming out next year , i just think it is , maybe i'm wrong , but honestly i don't really care what that jason guy claims since its not really a fact either its just his opinion.

@PuppetMaster they do have a pretty good amount of games lined up this year , don't forget phantom blade zero which i think can be pretty great ( assuming its coming out this year )

@PuppetMaster i agree it always doesn't have to be the same month , but there are a few games they can announce like san monica's new game corey has been working on , we can see more of wolverine and maybe a release date , and the rummored until dawn successor from firesprite

@LiamCroft in all fairness they were just events , it really wasn't " this is may's annual sony event". it just so happened to take place in may in the past , doesn't mean that it will happen every may.

@Jacko11 i'll say the biggest issue is there are a lot of facebook , twitter, and youtube channels that create "video game news" but 99.99% of what they say and do is pure speculation but people take it as something that will or won't happen.

why do people need stuff to be leaked before anything official gets announced?

@themightyant i don't think it is part of the program , but i think sony did help fund it , increasing it after the success of wukong its nice to see sony investing into studios like them and the studio above so they can create the games they always wanted to.

@Godot25 i think intergalatic will be out next year its been development since 2020, also this other project has been worked on for a while too, i think these games are going to come much sooner then you expect.

@1UP-HUSKY i think there will a 3rd last of us game at some point , but this isn't it. i think they'll do last of us 3 after intergalatic

@ElkinFencer10 my point is sony never led any one on to thinking this was ever going to be a thing. or that it was ever going to be a thing. it could have been something they were working on , but they weren't happy with so it didn't happen. im honestly curious how many people playing xbox 360 games in 2025 , i know i very rarely do myself.

not sure if sony owns the rights to Heavenly Sword, and Enslaved but since ms is also publishing these games on ps5 now , sony should give the rights to those games to ninja theory to make new games , both were pretty over looked series.

maybe this means the ps5 upgrade is finally coming.

@R_L_Stine i don't even know why this is still being talked about but sony has always been upfront in the ps4 and ps5 not playing ps3 games. you can want it to happen all you want its still not happening.

@Nyne11Tyme the two games were in production along side last of us online. thats why a lot of people that were brought in for last of us online were let go when the game was cancelled.

@nomither6 but it’s silly to dislike or hate it when we only seen a reveal trailer , people can hate on it all they want if it’s warranted and they’ve seen game play ect.
