i'm pumped hopefully Corey's ps5 game isn't too far off from a reveal as well.

@Bamila steam had already tried with pc consoles and no one bought them , what makes you think it would work again? i mean you could just buy a pc at that point and hook it up to a tv.

i hope there is still a way to save this game

@Leinad7 they did one for boarderlands 4 , it means they have the marketing rights for these games , it doesn't mean anything more to it then that.

@Bez87 not sure where you saw that from what i remember halo was also being developed for the ps2 before Microsoft purchased them , and rockstar was going to publish the game.

i think the earliest would be 2028 , latest would be 2030 , and when it will prob come out is 2029, i could see the rumored handheld coming first maybe 2028 then full console 2029.

@Scottyy don't forget they are also working on gears eday , which is rumored to be day of release for ps5, so i'm sure they'll be going fully into that now that reloaded is out , hopefully the remaster of 2+3 would be after .

@reddevilcat naughty dog was pretty open saying that the gears of war cover system inspired them to add it to the first uncharted game.

@Shrek_Realista not from me the first gears was one of my favorite games back then , and it would have totally blew my mind if i knew i'd be playing it on a sony console many years later.

@DTfearTheBEARD btw when you unlock trophies if your accounts are connected for cross play and cross save , it also unlocks the achievements as well on xbox.

its so weird to me to pop in gears of war and seeing the xbox game studios logo pop up on the ps5, i loved this game on the 360 , so i'm excited to give this a go on ps5. the fact it has cross save i can play it on xbox as well.

@Muttt to me its one of those things that if there weren't slight frame drops it would have been a 10/10 which it was when it came out on the ps2, but its still 9/10. it depends how picky you are with stuff like it not being a locked 60 fps.

@Rich33 i mean it does make sense with the main part of the game taking place in Baghdad. so its not completely random

i didn't expect dlc for this game at all , i still have to finish it up , but i'm so behind in so many games , but i've enjoyed it a good amount , also the prince of persia sands of time weapons are still some of my favorite looking weapons in ac games.

no surprise the game was amazing when it came out for the ps2 years ago , so an updated version that looks as amazing as it does , is a no brainier in my eyes , i'm so excited for this.

@Questionable_Duck one thing i can think of is maybe they are rebuilding the brand back up and possibly seeing how much interest there even is for new games , i mean silent hill f is a new game , hopefully that does well enough. myself i'm excited for mgs delta , and the new silent hill 1 remake, i still hope for a mgs4 remaster , silent hill 3 remake , and mgs1 remake.

@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare hes not picking games , game developers pay to get those spots on the show. he's not hosting the show for free.

@Dodoo cost , its why sony skips a lot of events , because its way cheaper to do their own events vs spending tons of money on trailers.

@Jammer i feel like since retro is in , they can take games that were very limited back then and bring them into a modern era , and honestly i am all for that. i mean who wouldn't want to see metal gear solid 1 remake with all this stuff.

@pyrrhic_victory honestly the 3rd game was always the red headed step child because code veronica is actually the sequel to re2 , while re3 was just more of re2 except with jill. at least they kept in the story in getting to see all the stuff that took place in re2 remake happening during the events of re3 remake.

@nessisonett i love horizon 4 , and own it on xbox , but they delisted it , i can't see them paying to renew the licences for another release.

i liked it , im pretty sure if you think the show was poor or very poor , idk what to tell you , i don't think you are going to be happy no matter what was shown off. maybe you just are getting too old.

hopefully this means bioshock isn't dead and is actually will see the light of day. but the other issue is how long will it be till we even see anything ? its been years with nothing , at first point it will be a ps6/next gen xbox game. and judas isn't in good shape either , who knows when we will see that game as well.

sounds like we are getting a halo / hell divers cross over and its coming to ps5 as well because of this , idk why any one is getting upset that more people get to enjoy this game.

@belmont its not a demo behind a pay wall though ,its the full game , and you get 5 hours to play it , if you like it , you can buy it and keep playing.

@Randinator123 its not a demo its the full game , that locks after the time limit is up , but you actually like the game you can buy it and it just removes the lock , a demo isn't the full game.

@Oram77 i also feel like somtimes they want to beat websites before they can leak things , so they've been pretty tight lipped about certain projects , so it wouldn't shock me if their next big game gets announced with a very small time frame with a release date, which i wouldn't hate either.

@Oram77 they didn't really announce much other then it was a project in the works with a code name.

@11001100110zero i mean at this point i just see it like as pc , you'll see more cross gen stuff because both games are playable on either console , but clearly if you compare say the ps5 version of horizon running on the pro vs a base ps4 its going to be clear which is better. the new console will always look and play better then the older one. just like on pc older gpu's can run a lot of games , but you need the newest stuff to really make it run to its full potential.

@Shad361 i love my ps3 i have my ps3 always plugged in and i still randomly play it time to time. but lets face it ps3 also almost killed the playstation , luckily the 2nd half of the ps3 era is what we remember the most , and the first party pretty much saved it, but 3rd party developers hated making games for it. even though we remember the games being fun to play but series like resistance , killzone all sold very poorly.

@itsfoz hit or miss yes hell divers 2 is successful I’d say gt7 is pretty successful as well plus there is a lot hype behind the marvel fighting game.

@dodgykebaab well in reality they are sold , the stores buys them from sony , then sells them to the consumer , sony doesn't send the consoles to the stores for free.

honestly the ps3 has always been kind of broken compared to the ps4 and ps5 stores. it was clunky , broken , slow , ect.

i actually liked the game , so if the rumors are true they are going to improve all the aspects of the game , it could be a no mans sky / cyber punk situation were they actually take feedback from people to improve the game after release.

@lazymike you do know those “ports” are done by dedicated teams hired for ps5 upgrades and pc ports right ? They aren’t using dev teams to work on them instead of new games

All this love for fighting games is making me want the ps5 fighting stick
