@nomither6 seeing how people thought the ps5 pro was too expensive most if not all of those people could never afford a gaming pc. if you want any type of pc to hold up like a console you'd need to invest 2-2.5k a min maybe more.

@graymamba since it’s already on pc porting it to xbox would actually be pretty easy

I can easily see the marvel fighting game going to Xbox , which would benefit from having more players

@arsmolinarc but its a valid one , its one of the biggest what if's in gaming imo, if we weren't 2-3 years behind where would we be right now? i'd still say sony handled a difficult situation the best they could. we still have ghosts coming this fall which looks amazing imo, they invested in gaming around the world including stellar blade , phantom blade zero , and lost soul aside. i know their new approach involves not revealing games too early but it would be nice to have some kind of updates on games currently being worked on.

@johnedwin please name me these games that would be on this list that would have been made instead? people keep saying this, but i don't see any one naming games that would actually sell to be on this list.

i feel confused people want new games , new ip's but they don't want to pay full price for them , which is why we are getting less games in the first place

between this and lost soul aside both games look amazing imo.

i don't think its a surprise , hopefully the full series is gonna makes its way to ps5.

is it a bad game , or a good game with bugs? if they can fix all of that stuff would that change things?

sonys best live service game just keeps getting better , i need to jump back into this game

@Bramble i'm pretty sure its a license issue and you can't stream netflix to another device , so either the portal would have to run netflix natively or it wouldn't be able to run it.

@RawnDawn memory has come a long ways since the psp and vita, its cheaper , faster , even the nvme ssd's are coming down in price.

when a lot of comments these days are , " looks great can't wait for it to go on sale / ps+", and they are still curious why sony doesn't really want to take risks these days.

@nomither6 if the ps3 went with amd instead of the custom chip set , the ps3 would have been b/c with the ps4/ps5.

@AdamNovice the issue is what developers complained the most about is they would have to rebuild them from the ground up , you just can't really take a ps3 game and port it over. vs upgrading the ps4 version to a ps5 version to run better and look better.

@Nalim pretty much this they bring in extra staff to finish projects off and they get laid off after , on the bonus side I’m pretty sure they can get unemployment between jobs if they want it because they were laid off.

i'm like 99% sure his game has anything to do with god of war though , not sure why thats going around now with nothing behind it.

btw star wars might be leaving , but if you are still interested in it , its on a heavy discount right now at 14$. and they are offering the combo pack of both games at 19$. i think you can even upgrade to the deluxe for an extra 10$ which isn't bad since if you bought the deluxe at launch it was like 99$.

idk why people are trying so hard to figure it out , let them announce it when they are ready. its like people need to be spoiled instead of actual announcements .

wasn't there a rumor that the game was having issues and it might not even be made? hopefully him talking about it means it actually has a future.

when they did announce it , they did say it was really far off , hopefully this game actually sees a release unlike perfect dark , along with the studio even still being open by then.

if they throw in the dlc , i'd gladly jump back in , it already looked pretty good for a ps3 game , but if they added stuff like improved game play , lighting effects , fps , resolution ,ect , there isn't really much they need to do.

@NathanKang you do you , and let people want things , i don't see why you worry about this, having a ps5 i would more then welcome having an upgraded version of a great game.

@lazymike because they didn't buy nixxes for that reason , they bought them for pc ports , and at the same time they've also helped with the ps5 upgrades as well.

@truerbluer i'm gonna be honest reading your comments , maybe its time for you to find a new hobby because it feels like no matter sony does , i don't really think you'll be happy with the outcome

the good thing about all of this is there is a lot of opportunity these days either new studios being created , or other studios looking to expand their teams. hopefully sony looks snags some people up.

@tdolla2000 i think there was more to that story then what was released to the public because a lot of the key team members ended up signing on with sony to create a new studio based out of la.

@truerbluer literally not true they hired more people for live service created new studios for pc ports and remasters , nixxies does all of that , there were no resources removed for any of that stuff you listed

its 2025 , people need to move on with the times or be left behind. a game like hell divers 2 is much better with more players , isn't the point of video games is to play them and enjoy them? it doesn't need to be deeper then that

@Lup the good thing is the ps6 is years away and the better version of games will always be on the new console like on ps5 vs ps4

@Oram77 I still want the disc drive to be attachable , it’s nice to just swap out the disc drive if it breaks vs sending it out

@nomither6 its not a remaster though , its a remake. if it was just a remaster i would have agreed with you. did it age bad? no i can agree with that , i mean look at re4 , that game didn't age poorly , but the remake of re4 was great. i guess we'll have to see what they improve and change , but i'm guessing a brand new engine , and there are a lot of game play elements they can change , and even expand on what you can do in the game.

the college bball games were some of my favorite games back then , esp march maddness can't wait for this.
