@Andy22385 and honestly since the ps6 will be able to play ps4 and ps5 games it will be the best console to play those games , i ended up finishing up some ps4 games on the ps5.

@MasterChiefWiggum i mean you say its too soon , ( its still 2 years if these rumors are even true), but if you look at the average time span between consoles its 6-7 years and 2027 is year number 7.

@PuppetMaster while that would be amazing and i'd be all for it there is 0% chance it has ps1/ps2 or ps3 disc support.

@BusyOlf its still a pretty valid reason why the generation got off to a slow start , the fact that gaming companies were able to manage around that situation and still were able to launch a console successfully, only leaves us with what if's of if games came out sooner would they be working on something new or would it be the same ? i guess we'll never know.

@Questionable_Duck i said this in the past honestly i want that , having a detachable disc drive is the best move they could make, why? the majority of console issues is always the disc drive , instead of sending the full console in for repair they can send you a replacement drive and then you are good to go.

the funny thing is looking back sony waited 7 years to release a new console ps3 to ps4 was 7 years , ps4 to ps5 was also 7 years , and a 2027 release year would be , 7 years after the ps5 came out.

seeing the infamous photo got me hyped for a second then realized it was just a what are you playing this weekend post , infamous maybe you'll return some day.

i can't see this coming out till 2028 at the earliest , maybe 2029 at the latest.

having less time to actually sit and play games i haven't bought games as much as i used to however i did buy a few more games recently like silent hill f and ghosts , but i still have a lot of games i need to go back and complete , and i skipped a few games along the way that either i'll forget about or hopefully eventually play them. but i mean the numbers don't lie , so many consoles out there , and you have a lot of games that fail to sell a decent amount? i'm always curious what games do people even play if they had a ps3 or ps4 or ps5.

@BennyTheCat aw1 is great and you should play it anyways , but i don't think you really need to play aw1 before aw2 to really enjoy it other then hes a writer its pretty much a brand new story.

i bought it last year when they had a pretty good sale on the full game and deluxe version , so getting this game on ps+ is 1000% worth getting the upgrade for 6$. perfect game for the spoopies season.

@LogicStrikesAgain same , i enjoy this site a lot but is this article really needed? i don't really see the point of it.

i mean the game is 8 years old , the fact that people are even still playing it at all shows how long the game has lasted. most games would kill to last 6-8 years

kind of crazy people are complaining about free dlc for a game that wasn't even expected to get dlc in the first place. i enjoyed this game so i'll try out the dlc. not to mention it sounds like it gets gameplay upgrades and some vissual upgrades as well being a part of it.

@Hapless its not an update its a native ps5 version, so it would need more then just an update for that.

@Enigk i doubt there being a xbox or not will do anything with the ps6 price.

i mean i love my xbox i bought a series x at launch , but honestly has playstation really been contested other then the ps3 vs 360?

halo 1 was great back then and to be able to play it again remade on ps5 is something i never thought it would happen. i said the same about gears of war , and next up fable as well. great for gamers though.

@StitchJones honestly after play ds2 , also has me pretty pumped up for a pure ps5 horizon game and i think we'll be surprised with a horizon single player game in the next 2-3 years before ps6.

i love the story games so keep em coming i want more.

i feel like the more games this team makes the games keep getting better they keep learning and making improvements so i can't wait to see how this one is going to turn out , i still want silent hill 3 remade as well.

the crazy part is that the ps5 is one of sony's most successful consoles, we have ghosts coming out this week wolverine 2026 , and other games to still be announced. sounds like they are doing just fine.

i like the fact they are wireless so i could use them on my ps5 or ps5 pro

@Dodoo i love flight sim i wasn't 100% sure if i'd dive in with the ps5 version , but the fact that it supports psvr2 makes it really tempting.

i'm hyped i loved tekken 3 and soul caliber so seeing those classics return , not to mention i had no idea about the wireless 3d speakers i'm down for that too. also Wolverine , lets go , and we finally have a time frame down.

@OmegaStriver i used to read rumors like every one else , your life will be better if you take all those rumors with a grain of salt and wait for things to be officially announced.

i'm glad alan wake 2 is getting a lot of love in the comments , if this is true its a great game for people to give it a try and October is the perfect month.

pretty much from what i've heard in a few videos is that its not game breaking , or ruins the game , its just a few bumps like in metal gear. i mean it is digital foundrys job to nit pick the performance , but i think the average player is going to be playing the game more then trying to notice these small details.

this is the game my ps5 pro has been waiting for , can't wait.

give me leon in re9 , saros game play reveal , and a re-reveal of wolverine , anything else is a bonus.

@Dodoo I feel like any one who likes jak and daxter should keep an eye out on intergalactic , in that i think they took ideas from the rumored jak 4 game they toyed around with and put them in this game.

after playing ds2 , let the man cook , i can't wait to see these games develop.

Remake mgs1 fully and remaster mgs4 4k 60fps and id be happy

@KundaliniRising333 my first real gaming pc , my other pc's could play pretty basic games but wasn't like a real gaming pc , i went with a mid range pc for gaming and i regretted it , honestly spending the extra money on a pc was more then worth it for what i have now , but i still game more on consoles , but at least gives me the option to play on pc.

i'm glad i got the series x at launch tbh , but i wouldn't have spent 100 dollars more to get one now. thats just crazy how consoles are going up in price years after launch.

@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare I'm pretty sure its been confirmed a few times that Cory's game is not God of war related.

@Exerion76 exactly , don't get me wrong i love those games too , but sometimes a strait forward 13-14 hrs of telling a story is the type of game i look for. somtimes hours and hours of game play is just walking around or cut scenes while the actual core of the game is closer to 13-15 hours with 5-6 hours of walking back and forth not progressing the story.

@PuppetMaster honestly i wasn't sold on the idea myself at first , but the more i see , im pretty excited and even ended up preordering it

@Hi569 seems perfect for this type of game and thats an average time , so it could prob take more like 14-15 hours , on a first time play with out guides. which is better then it being a 20-25 hr game stuffed with meaningless filler content to make it a longer game. go from point a to point b back to point a.

@lazarus11 i'm pretty sure there really wasn't other editions outside the one that came with a statue , but there wasn't like a " gold" edition since they delayed it they made this dlc part of the free thing instead on season pass.

i'm guessing the low power mode would be good for remote play for the portal , i don't have one so i don't really know how that works. also wasn't it for the possible rumored handheld that could play ps5 games.

@Jaz007 i can't tell if you were serious with this comment but i highly doubt doing this feature impacted game development lol. im pretty sure the team that works on these features have nothing to do with game development.

the irony is i haven't really played bl3 so im playing that atm lol. i'll eventually jump into bl4 at some point but with silent hill f and ghosts coming out i'll be busy playing those.
