so it pretty much is a monster hunter stylized game in the horizon universe , could be interesting , would have to see more , hopefully theres an open beta to try out at some point.

@Mr_Singh i'm guessing you don't remember all the backlash it had gotten in 2020 when it was first announced to the point they moved the whole project from the team that started it to the team in Montreal, we actually seen what the game looks like it didn't look good. as for black flag remake well the only stuff we know is either just assuming or news you should always take with a grain of salt. at the same time its also facts , you can't delay something not announced. at the end of the day if a game is good or not is always subjective.

@Mr_Singh honestly from what was shown from pop remake , it didn't look good , it would have been awful , and it wasn't going to sell , and the rumor was the devs asked for even more time and im pretty sure ubisoft wanted to launch it. sounds like it was a huge mess , as for the ac4 remake , it hasn't even been announced , so something can't really be delayed if it was never a public thing ( we all know its coming though) , it sounds like they are putting more resources into the remake and other projects assuming its ac: hexe , to make those games better?

honestly i don't care it will still play the best on the ps5 pro ( assuming its coming out on this gen ? ) or ps6 assuming ps6 is out by then? wow we have more questions then we have answerrs.

@Ristar24 honestly if you still have a working ps3 , you are much better off using that and playing a native ps3 game vs emulation

@IntrepidWombat thanks i'll have to check it out , i still boot up my ps3 time to time , i actually got around to beating a few games i never finished up , but its harder to play them with the smaller ps3 controller since i'm so used to the newer ones.

@Czar_Khastik i think what you are looking for is the not so secret portable device they are working on to play games like you are looking for , the portal doesn't have a cpu or gpu which is why its so cheap.

@NavalHistorian i mean assassins creed has been live service for some time , Valhalla being their biggest live service game.

@Member_the_game honestly i'd rather see games i wouldn't other wise play if it was on ps+ , i mean honestly if it was something i'd personally like or would play , 90% of the time i'd just buy it.

@Naughtyottsel92 in all fairness ps3 bc was never a thing , never something sony promised , and they've always been pretty open about it. not sure why this is still a thing many years later , as some one that plays ps3 games once and a while , the ps3 games didn't age well in terms of graphics , fps , camera , ect. i feel like people have better memories then how the ps3 era actually was because a lot of the ps3 games had a very low / poor attachment rate , with a lot of sales under 1 million games sold , resistance 3 , and killzone 3 barely sold 2.8 million copies.

when people go back to " well naughty dog " released these games , thats when they were also forcing people to work 80-100 hours a week to get those games out faster.

@Martsmall completely different and not all 360 games are supported with bc. But the ps3 had a custom chip set which makes it difficult.

assuming this is true its also the first chris being in the remakes. i could also see part 5 getting a remake as well , but the rumor is 2027 could be cv , 2028 zero , 2029 resident evil 10? or re5 Remake.

@Questionable_Duck i feel like people are gonna use that as the current buzz word of something they hate for no reason , it was live service , now its generative ai.

@somnambulance it sounds like they delayed it to put more behind it resources ect. honestly i really like black flag alot , so to me imagine an upgraded version of that , with it running better and on a upgraded engine , i think it will be great.

@Thelegend159 i don't see what they exactly fumbled , this isn't even really an announced title , with no release date. skull and bones was more of a spin off idea from black flag , but it was never the remake. other then that the only news we get are rumors you should be taking with a gain of salt obviously

@somnambulance at the end of the day its still a ps3/xbox 360 game. so yeah there can be a lot of upgrades graphically and game play wise that can make it better.

@themightyant i'm not worried about that they see assassins creed as something that makes them money , if anything they are putting more resources in it for a reason , while prince of persia is something they see the game if it doesn't look like something that can be successful they'll can it which they did. if anything them holding it back a year to make it better in this case would be a good thing.

i'm guessing the addtional resources are going to the splinter cell remake , assassins creed 4 resynced and assassins creed hexe. at least they are seeing the feed back they are getting into making these games better.

@WolfyTn sounds to me like they are getting it together , and games that weren't up to par got cancelled , when they first showed off the prince of persia remake it looked awful , im guessing they saw what would be the final version and still weren't happy with it , better to can it vs letting a bad game out.

@Nyne11Tyme i just upgraded my sony tv to another sony tv which is the a90k the picture looks amazing and has all the stuff that the ps5 pro does well. people seem worried but i doubt they'll get rid of the high end sony tv's , i'm sure you'll see more in between stuff , but im not too worried about the better tv's , maybe they'll be cheaper , im sure they'll make more lower end tv's which im fine with as long as they make the better ones as well.

@1970sGamer because power saving mode is getting the games ready for the PlayStation portable handheld they are releasing , it’s for that not for your console at home

@Dan12836666 i would say gt7 is their most successful live service game tbh , hell divers 2 after it imo.

i need to finish up alan wake 2 and control but i thought they were great games , so im pretty excited for the sequel.

sony needs to bring back in sanzaru and ready and dawn and rebrand them as new studios , they could use more support studios.

not sure who holds the rights to enslaved , a return to that game would be nice if possible , if its not possible a spiritual successor would be good too.

as some one who randomly plays their ps3 once and while the games didn't really hold up graphics and fps wise vs current games. honestly i would rather see remasters if possible , but lets be honest most of the people saying they would buy or play ps3 games on the ps5 don't really remember how those games actually played and prob won't actually play too many of them.

a few predictions myself would be starting this year most if not all Microsoft games will be day of releases on xbox and playstation, i feel like we'll get at least one major surprise from sony this year in terms of a first party release that gets announced with a 2026 release date. on a side note idk why Hermen is being blamed for games taking longer to develop people complained about being over worked , but with out time crunching and over working , games take much longer to develop , not to mention covid era set game development back quite a bit. theres still plenty of games that were announced before that still haven't been released yet , gta 6 is a great example of this as well. people expect games to be bigger and better then the last but that takes time. maybe ai ( i know every one hates ai ) can actually help speed this whole process up.

remaster it in 4k 60 fps , and i'll bite. i think i still have part 3 i got really cheap that i didn't play much , i'd give it another go though.
