great Comic Strip in the newspapers back in the day, they probably still have em now, not sure. but anyway, beautiful art style and glad to have more refined looking beat 'em ups. those are always fun to play.

Been hyped on this game since it was announced like 5 years ago. I know it's a small team making the game so it took a while. I'm excited to play this game. I may actually pre-order it (not something i typically do). But yeah, i hope BioMutant does well. it's like an even more over the top Mad Max with animals set in a world that looks like it's supposed to be a JRPG (what is this, Trials of Mana?). Can't wait.

yeah! SW is the best Musou! (then One Piece).

Excited for Scarlet Nexus - I got a little bit of YS style combat, fast paced and seemingly just fun to play all around. (also, catchy song!)

meh, i play single player games on Playstation. as long as i can get to play those and experience great stories, characters etc. as well as JRPGs - - - Microsoft/XBox can do whatever they want with Discord

YS IX Monstrum Nox (basically all Ys games) have fantastic music!

The game came out in February a week before P5S.

there's so many games to play. i think it's okay if they're currently silent. esp with Covid still going on, i think it's a good idea to just take their time and continue to work on what they're working on in secret. we don't need Sony to overpromise and then underdeliver, or show something too early and then delay delay delay because that just makes the optics/perceptions worse.
i don't think Sony needs to be reactionary towards what MS is doing. playstation fans need to stop looking over to the other side, the grass isn't always "greener" (no pun intended...pun intended). why do people always have to compare...there's plenty of good things going on on the Playstation side of things.

i just enjoy that you guys continue to push......stories out about anything Musou. As a fan of the genre, I appreciate that.

I just want to have a fun time in the 30 min or so time span. Hopefully some JRPGs in there as well.

Kena and Stray is all I need. single player adventure and cats. i'm happy.

I agree that the Prison City setting as pretty much the only setting likely brought down the score - esp in comparison to Ys VIII. Gameplay is still king and that's most important. Bought the game and can't wait to jump in...(after I finish the second half of Ys Seven on VITA)

I'd love for them to remake Persona 1 from the ground up.
Or just flash a logo / visual for Persona 6 so we can see the color scheme (maybe green?)

single player games/experiences are wonderful. new experiences, new stories, new characters to get to know and new worlds to explore. multiplayer focused games have its place but nothing is as immersive as a single player focused action - adventure/RPG/JRPG/story driven/open world game.

all the extra stuff makes me want to play it again , but with what time?! DQXI (base game) took me months to play through and finish - all the way to the true ending - highly recommended game if you're a JRPG fan.

Holy carp! NEW Onimusha! Power Stone! and (the superior beat em up) Final Fight! ??? - WHAAAATTT??!! I'm down with that.

Cool! I just platinumed Spider Man PS4 (going through the DLC now) - should I just go ahead and buy Miles Morales PS4 and keep going? I'm afraid of burning out on Spider-Man...OR wait til I buy a PS5 (probably in a year or two) and play it then?

i just beat Spider-Man PS4 like 2 days ago and going through the DLC now. i'm kinda interested to see where the story takes Miles etc. i'm afraid if i wait til the PS5 version that i'm gonna be like, wait what happened?
anyway, Insomniac/Sony/Marvel is knocking it out of the park with this franchise.

this actually looks pretty fun! a little Burnout, mixed in with some Twisted Metal. i appreciate that you're not just a lame duck when you are on foot and that you have some power to try and steal back a vehicle.
i hope there's some single player aspect - if it does, then this will be a great "side" game to play / or that game you play to take a break from your "main" game.

Good. I'm glad. With the state of the world, it's best if we not entice people to just rush to the stores for the hottest new thing. Besides, we buy everything online now anyway.

Marvel should've given a company like Koei Tecmo/Omega Force the license for this game and make a Marvel Comics version of a Musou game - continue to support it with new content like new characters and story events plus other cosmetic dlc.

i liked all of it. i don't play multiplayer games much so those features won't get alot of use from me. however, the rest of the UI looks awesome! i like the progress/hints as well as the estimated time. as a dad that can only really play late at night, i can better budget my time knowing ahead of time of how much i need to spend doing something in a game (particularly in JRPGs and in 3rd person action/story driven games).
calling it "cards" is appropriate too. i thought it was a good naming convention.
also for the partners/family members who don't play video games but will use the PS5 for watching tv/movies, having a separate media page is a good idea.

Cool. Now put it on sale for $30 or maybe even $20 and I'll be happy to cop it and play it : )

I stopped watching after he took off the faceplates. I get all nervous when folks dismantle stuff that are valuable in my eyes (like a video game console in this instance). I'm like ahhh don't break it! Cool video nonetheless.

Sony's got me covered with JRPGs and third person action adventure with RPG elements. I'm good.

@djlard - I agree. I don't want any multiplayer anything in HZD. just something I noticed and I'm surprised wasn't brought up. But hey, it's just a mock up so it can mean something or totally nothing at all.
