IF I was into Gundam...I'd be all over this. I just don't have any connection to the IP. I mean Gundams in general look cool ayy eff but I'd feel like I wouldn't understand this game on a deeper level without knowledge of the source material. I dont even know where the best place to start with with the anime...

so excited for this game! Stray, TMNT Shredder's Revenge, Soul Hackers 2 and One Piece Odyssey are my most anticipated games. 2 out of 4 so far. halfway there...what a good year for the games that have my interest!

hope they can do this right. hope there's an easy way to track progress or get updates via the PS app. hope they remain consistent and don't drop it all of a sudden. at least it's free to join.

sometimes...people just suck. hope all will end up ok over there at BamCo. i enjoy many of the games they publish/develop.

i dont mind the art style actually (i did when it was first revealed) but unfortunately, the gameplay doesn't seem like it'll be my thing. i suppose i'll try out the demo.
but that box art is kinda dope.

it's not too long of a game but I'm enjoying the side quests and exploring the map and just seeing how far I can go. the combat is quite fun as well.
> might dabble with Bloodstained ROTN.

MAIN - Ni No Kuni II (it's such a nice, chill and straightforward JRPG. leveling up and "grinding" doesn't feel like a chore)

• but I suppose either way, I'll play it. Adol in his younger years def makes it sound like it could take place between the previous Ys games...the timeline is cray cray.

I'm ok with it. Sony has been doing their own thing and it seems like they will continue that trend by not doing Gamescom.

• also super cool! I'd love to replay Persona 3. I didn't beat it back on the PS2 and would like to be able to finish it all the way through. P3FES was tough compared to P4G or P5.
• while Atlus is at it, they need to show love to Persona 1 and 2. IF they can remake those games to at least look like Persona 3?!?! that'd be awesome.

I mean that is unfortunate in terms of the game's development cycle and seemingly the stop/start process of reveal, then trailers, info dump and the continued anticipation of the game releasing and then delay upon delay.
-However, on a personal level, I have alot of games to play that have release dates or at least coming in 2022 that I'm fine just continuing to wait for this game to finally come out at some point in 2023. AND it'll give me more time to get back into the anime.

So excited for this game! will definitely NOT play with English dubs though. anyway, yay JRPGs!

I'd rather have a showcase/presentation or whatever PR term you'd like to use that'll show games that are a year away instead of having an overproduced extravagant showcase and promise games that are 4+ years away, nowhere near done or simply just concept art thatll just be canceled a year later.

• keep it simple, keep it humble and don't expect anything crazy or anything super hype. just enjoy it for what it may be and if not all of the games revealed are for you, then that's ok - maybe next time.

at this point, I feel like many folks are just anticipating the Extra and Premium tiers of PS Plus.
I'm down to try the Nick Smash Clone but other than that, I'm good. I did already play God of War like alot of us have and I'm not interested in Naruto. I do appreciate the anime representation but just not Naruto and that game in particular.

it's almost like PS management listens to Colin on Sacred Symbols because he mentioned how a lexicon of gaming terms would be a good idea (since there's so many nowadays and the list of terms only continues to grow).

• how is Fist of the North Star? that and Yakuza 6 were on the backlog and decided to just finish Yakuza 6 so I can close on Kiryu's journey. Is FotNS super wacky and fun? lol
  Tales of Arise is great. Combat is super smooth and story is pretty good. Ran a bit long in my opinion but fun overall.

this is my most anticipated game this year!
Glad that I don't have to play the first one to know this story. Atlus knew that they needed a new starting point. Kinda wish they could've just called it Soul Hackers.
Anyway, yay Atlus and yay SMT spin offs. They sure know how to make turn based combat look and feel exciting.

@arra1213 I mean...PS3 was many many many years ago. I'm sure alot of the folks over at Platinum weren't there when they had whatever petty thing there was with Playstation. shrugs

Time for Platinum games to join the Playstation suite of studios and be given a chance to (re)focus on a single player only, high octane and energetic action game - similar to how they did with Vanquish.
