Insomniac turned the blood up to mortal kombat level to quell all the doubters.
DW3 hits me in feels as a big Musou fan and just a game my friends and I spent hours playing split screen back in the day.

Colin M is not happy right now.

Great game. Nostalgia is strong with this one. I played as the tank Guan Yu and my friend played as the speedy Pang Tong or Wei Yan.
This is a fun game for sure...and will probably never drop in price just like all/most Musou games.

SUB over DUB any day of the week.

Stage reveals are cool. Definitely will hint to which characters may be revealed (at some point).
I hope they reveal another 4 characters (Cyke, Wolverine, Colossus, Iceman or maybe Beast)

Instantly the most anticipated game for 2025. Raidou and Marvel Cosmic Invasion and Ghost of Yotei are my top 3 for 2025.

I was always interested in Radiou back in the PS2 days but the SMT name made me think it's a grueling turn based game that would kick my as$ so I decided not to buy it...I eventually went with Persona 3 FES or maybe I went with P4Golden vanilla on PS2. I dont remember.

I enjoyed DQXI. It'd be interesting to see if DQXII will have a different art style altogether or will it be a new take on its Toriyama roots. Heck, the combat might even be slightly different. I'd be down for a Metaphor/Persona 5 Strikers combat.

PS reference this year...hopefully a JoJo reference next year.

I'm not against Dark Shadows Borne Elden Souls Blood Ring Die Twice games. I just don't care about 'em. (but there are alot of em coming out nowadays that's for sure)

Haven't played any of the more recent arena fighters that have a story mode...I just wanted to throw it out there that Bandai Namco published One Piece Burning Blood with the developer Spike Chunsoft. I'd be more than happy to have a Bleach game in a similar fashion. Last fun Bleach fighting game I was really into was on the PSP (Bleach Heat the Soul series).
Lastly, I enjoyed One Piece PW4...maybe a proper Bleach Musou from Omega Force/BamCo would be a welcome change to the arena fighter genre.

Ys X from Falcom and whatever the new Tales of game from BamCo is what I'm looking forward to the most.
I'm on media blackout for Metaphor Re Fantazio (Atlus has been showing it way too much - after the gameplay deep dive they had recently, I decided I don't want to see anymore til the game releases).

most dads and moms ain't got time for brutally difficult games when your playing time happens after family time and adult responsibilities are finished and it's 10 or 11pm and you got work and parental duties the next morning. kudos to those that play dark blood souls die twice borne games.

folks forgetting about Persona 5 Strikers...which is being able to smack weak enemies aside via hack and slash and then more powerful ones had to be dealt with via turn based commands. don't sleep on that game.

if this is the Tales of Arise-ing of the Mana series, then I'm all for it.
looks different enough but still retains that whimsical nature of the Mana series.
The most recent Trials of Mana remake is a fun romp. I'm all for this. 2024 is gonna just continue the good/great trend of JRPGs!

I'm ok taking a Persona break. I'm excited and hopeful for Metaphor. We need more details on that.

The ESA needs to find a niche in the gaming community and target that. I'm sure they have data that they can use to their advantage.

I know it'll be a blow to Sony's / PS' operations but in a personal sense, it doesn't affect my gaming habits or decisions as I don't gravitate towards Activision Blizzard games.
I'm looking forward to the eventual sourness that long time Activion Blizzard games fans will go through once MS/Xbox gets their hands on their IP.

I am lucky enough to be able to afford to pay for my games and I'd be happy to show support to developers/publishers that release games of high quality and enjoyment by paying for their games...that way, they can go ahead and produce a game that I may enjoy in the future.

Also, we know a majority of the Persona fans will play it on PS. Sega already got the money from MS when MS made a deal with them to put P3R on Gamepass.

Looking forward to any news that comes out from Anime Expo! Whether it's news on upcoming seasons or news regarding games. What a time for JRPG/Anime fans!

Heck, I haven't played Scarlet Nexus yet so I don't know if there's space for a sequel, if so...then maybe a teaser for Scarlet Nexus 2?
More anime centric wise, perhaps a Jujutsu Kaisen game (that isn't an arena brawler)?

MS seems so desperate for even just a bit of mind share that they're willing to pay Sega/Atlus x amount of $$$ to make em look good for a few days under the guise that a game is exclusive to XBox.
Of course Sega/Atlus would do that deal...and then make more $$$ by selling their game on other consoles where it'll actually sell.

Not worried.
We all know a majority of Xbox players rarely buy games because they just rely on Gamepass.
While Atlus will certainly be paid by MS to release an exclusive on their system...I doubt it'll match the sales it'll actually garner for Atlus by selling Metaphor on Playstation.
We shall see.

Sega/Atlus has to know that no one is gonna buy their game on that platform. but ok, we can just keep pretending that Xbox-ers play JRPGs on Xbox..unless it's on gamepass (gosh forbid they buy games).
Marketing rights be dammed, we all know Persona is gonna be playable on PS too.

Square Enix wants to follow along with what Capcom has done recently with their successes. I'm all in for that. When those 2 JPN publishers/developers are firing on all cylinders, that's gonna be great for us (and for them too).
