I bought this for the nostalgia factor but got frustrated with the slidey feel it has, getting some simple jumps even with the modern controls are a right pain

Unashamedly love 3D platform games ever since my first go on Mario 64 in 1997

The last 2 SpongeBob games were fun 3D platform games. I was too old for the show when it came out but I'm never too old for a 3D platform games 🤣🙈🤣

I went in relatively blind and I'm loving it. Taking it slow but can't get enough of it. It's a 9 for sure

I want Hellblade 2 but not until it's £25 max

I liked Tsushima, I feel this is better so far. Combat feels better, the structure does too. Very impressed so far.

Maybe as I have not been playing lots of open world games it's been refreshing playing this and discovering new areas and activities etc. Love being a bounty hunter on it

I loved playing this game. Headphones on lights out, pure immersion and genuinely creep atmosphere.

It's a rare game I intentionally played at 30fps. Never had a single issue with it

I've tried a few 2D Kirby games and they are not a patch on forgotten lands.

Love 3D platform games, been obsessed with since 97 when I first played mario 64.

@Dalamar my wife plays this if the kids allow the TV free for me to play ghost of Yotei.

I've been playing it too but I beat the main game on switch one so only dipping in and out. It's a superb game. Hope they make a proper sequel as they nailed Kirby in 3D first time

@Vermines my 7 year old has somehow played the demo for over 3 hours so not sure if I'll be allowed on it 🙈🤣

Ghost of Yotei. Loving it so far but very very early days. looks amazing even on PS5 (base) performance mode.

I bought it and regret it. It's just very samey. A relic of it's time

Got Pac-man Re-pac 2 on its way and it's due at some point today. Looking forward to having a blast on that.

In meantime I'm on Cocoon. Bought it ages ago but never actually played it. It's unique and very unusual but enjoying it so far

@Oram77 yep agree with that. The 2013 reboot was superb and Rise was even better. Feel shadow was a dip in form but still very good

Had a small break from Hell Is Us after getting stuck so planning to go back in that and maybe some crow country too

Finished 'Mafia the old country' mid week. Decent game. Bit repetitive.

Started 'Hell is us' yesterday. Liking what I've played so far. Very atmospheric

Of games I've played Carlisto protocol was and still is stunning, that Resi 4 and Silent hill 2 dead space remakes look damn fine too.

Mafia the old country looked stunning at times.

Astros playroom, astrobot and Ratchet rift apart are 3 of the most stunning looking platform games I've seen.

The recent Sword of the sea was beautiful too

Some forgotten (or less mentioned) games that look amazing are Greak, Kena, Tails of Iron 1 & 2, Nobody wants to die, lost records, Dave the diver, thank goodness you're here and cat quest 3

In double exposure it just seemed everyone was bi so they could make anyone be with anyone but it did not feel organic or realistic. It just felt forced

Played the first. Can see why it's loved but it's not my thing

I really don't like the phantom pain, I really couldn't get into it but I can't deny it's obviously a good game that just isn't for me

Looks like missed Yook-Laylee remake too

I wanted to like the first but it was awkward to play with odd controls and lots of wandering around doing nothing. Think this remake will fix it all.

The impossible lair was superb though. Hope to get a sequel to that someday

Started sword of the sea on Thursday after having finishing DK.

I can see why it's got such good reviews, I think it's their best game and I loved Journey and the Pathless but for me this is the best.

Going to also get Mafia the old country as been wanting it and in the mood for a linear story heavy game

Psychonauts 2 is superb. It's one of the best 3D platform games I've played.

Highly recommended, I played the PS4 version on PS5 when it released and loved it, runs brilliantly

Still on the awesome DK Bananza, can't beat a good 3D platform game in my opinion.

Nearly finished the PS5 version of Hellblade 1, very cinematic and engaging game but can see why people call the series a walking sim, still like it.

Also having quick blasts on Rogue Prince of Persia which I'm enjoying and was a great stealth Plus addition.

DF tech review has put me off. I'll wait for a big discount now
