I couldn't put it down and genuinely never had an issue with it. I was put off my digital foundry review but not sure if it was patched as it ran amazingly when I played it

I really enjoyed Lego horizons, it's worth a play through

@Haruki_NLI if the 5 year console with no discount isn't appealing enough to get into 4 figure sales it speaks volumes.

I imagine before the sale prices PS5 sales were more than 700. I'm too lazy to research this however lol

@Gunbeld that's bad. I was trying to be conservative with my guestimates. Being outsold 3 to 1 in your best market sums it up.

That's 2 generations in a row now that Xbox has massively been outsold by it's most like for like competitor.

The gap is massive. Must be close to PS5 selling 3 to every Xbox series console 1 at least by now?

@Deljo I did. And I had a big library of games on it across physical, digital and on plus ready to play on PS5.

It also meant I could put my PS4 in my kids room for them to play with and if I wanted to get a PS4 game I didn't have to mess about swapping over the console (we don't have much space).

Added to this the PS4 backwards compatibility in most cases ran better on PS5 with lots of 60fps patches so the PS4 compatibility was a huge boon

Due to the PS4 backwards compatibility alone PS5 is awesome.

When it's on some sort of sale I'll buy this as do like the look and can get past lack of interaction for a good story, just don't want to pay full price.

Bit surprised seeing someone saying it's not got great gameplay but then adding it's behind expedition 33 for their GOTY 🤣

@Balaam_ I seriously think you should consider talking to someone about your trophy obsession. It's not healthy.

You only post about trophies and moan about them being broken or difficult or if a trial pops a trophy and you lose it.

It's almost like a comedy account to me as you seem way OTT about it all

@TheArt been FIFA sober since PS3 days and no footy games since Pro Evo 2017 (I think) on PS4.

Play alot more games now. From PS1 to mid PS3 days I missed so many big games due to Pro Evo obsession

@Gaia093 I really enjoyed Frontiers. Lost it's appeal towards the end a tad but for the most part it had me hooked

@Oram77 to be the fair the article doesn't specify if the upgrade is for digital only or physical. Yooka Replaylee was only a discounted upgrade for digital version so I think it's a fair question

But it's multiplayer so it's not for me.

Very short and if you just want trophies it would be an easy platinum.

I haven't got the platinum yet as I played it for fun 1st time (still got the majority of them though)

It's really crappy for those who like the series.

I personally hate it and haven't bothered with the series for around 10 years and was genuinely surprised they're on black ops 7 already.

They all played exactly the same in my experience and didn't find the story in any apart from modern warfare 1 and black ops 1 engaging

I personally think Yotei improves in every way.

But Yooka Replaylee is also very good and if Yotei wasn't out I would have wasted my vote on that 🤣

Ghost of Yotei is superb. An instant classic and brilliant from start to finish

If stray hadn't been on plus extra at launch this selection would be better and I'd likely be itching to play it. But I finished it when it 1st came out.

Recommended for anyone who's not played it though

Finished the awesome Ghost of Yotei last week. GOY is my GOTY so far.

Just started Silent Hill f and early days I'm not sure it's for me but I'll give it a fair chance. I do find after playing an amazing game the next one always fails to fully grab me

I'm not getting full value for my buck with plus as I don't play online. I just pay for the games

@StitchJones I was torn between cronos and silent hill but went for silent hill as cronos doesn't have difficulty options and I know id struggle on it as I'm terrible at conserving ammo 🤣

I'm hoping some new difficulty options may get added on a patch before Christmas then I'd get it in a heartbeat

I tried several times to get into the PS2 original and not enjoyed it any time I have (bit like it is for me with Gears of war).

I really liked 2 and 3, especially 3. It was quite short but it looked and played great back in the day

This was the first PS1 game I played when my brother got one in 1995 as an early adopter. At the time it looked stunning especially after being used to 2D games only

The more I play the more I like it and it's up there with the best playstation games for me.

It's challenging Doom the dark ages for my game of the year so far

Do you only buy games with an average score above 90?

You will be missing some great experiences if that's the case.

I'm currently 32hours into Yotei and not even 50% done and loving it. It's not got a score of 90 or more but to me it's a 95

I don't understand these boycott attempts. Too much time on their hands.... time that could be spent on the excellent Ghost of Yotei 🤣

Curiosity brought me to see how gamers found it.

Like COD I just have no interest in this series but glad people are liking it

Ghost of yotei and Yooka Re-playlee.

Yotei is superb 25hrs and 33% in taking my time. So immersive.

Re-playlee has improved on the original so much it's unbelievable

I may have another blast of this on plus. Such a brilliant game

@nomither6 I have no room for our interest in getting a gaming PC. Doesn't appeal to me at all. I have a switch 1 and 2 though

The main thing I miss about not having an Xbox is this series so I hope the rumour is true.

That being said I've never got into Halo 2 despite attempts to play it on the original Xbox at launch and the MasterChief collection on Xbox one.

I hope they also port over infinite as want to play this badly but not bad enough to buy a series console
