I got the platinum on the excellent Tails of Iron 2.

Now on DK Bananza (I can see why it got 9s and 10s, it's superb) and the PS5 version of Hellblade

@Bentleyma I like the look of that. Got a few games on the go at the moment but will get this when it's on a good sale

I will hold on a bit for this as got a bit of a backlog but I think it's something I'm going to enjoy. Like linear games, like story heavy games. Love Uncharted and this seems like it plays a bit like Uncharted in parts

Having played it in 1997 I can confirm it's an abomination in every way.

An assault to your eyes and ears and sense of touch with it's awful gameplay. Pretty sure it's tasteless humour takes care of taste and I bet it friggin stinks too

@Simulated-Soul playstation classics seem to get a pass on having trophies. Especially at launch. Some get them added but some don't. Must depend on publisher

Would it be fair to suggest these recommended articles rely heavily on copy and paste function of the word processor?

Mines downloaded ok. I'll give this another play through. Not getting 2 until it's cheap though

Managed to persuade my wife we needed a Switch 2 (didn't take much persuasion to be fair especially as our switch 1 doesn't work with most carts anymore) so I'm playing DK Bananza and it's as good as I hoped.

Also still on the brilliant Tails of Iron 2 on PS5 and tried a bit of Lies of P which I quite enjoyed but will come back to that

@windxtravelerx yeah I'm sick of reviews on sites and YouTube being on pro when it's the niche console with the low install base.

Reviews should be for base system with a section about pro enhancements

I've been wanting to play this for ages but I'm not prepared to pay more than £25 for it.

I imagine I'll get this in the Christmas or new year sale for about £18

Any news on the enhanced version of the first game that's meant to be a free upgrade if you own PS4 version?

With the new difficulty options I'm going to give Lies of P a try. Good job I like the look of it as somehow playstation ignored my auto renewal off selection and charged me £119.99 for premium while I've been abroad

I'm currently in sunny Spain so reading books in the sun instead of gaming indoors. Loving it but do miss my PS5.

Don't want my holiday to end but when I get home I'll be back on the excellent Tails of Iron 2 and I'll see if can persuade my wife to get a switch 2 with Donkey Kong Bananza if we don't over spend here 🙈😂

Wow a lot of hate for Starfield.

I have never got into an Bethesda RPG's not oblivion, not Skyrim not fallout 3 or 4 so it was never on my radar but it's good to have it on PS5 for those that do want it. I imagine it'll sell loads.

I prefer Bethesda as a publisher of Doom, dishonered etc

I'll get this on sale as enjoyed the 1st one but not enough to get straight away

@Dodoo well it was for while until Sony thought they can make more money going multi platform on a live service game.

I don't see them making any single player games for Xbox anytime soon despite the recent job listing

At launch I didn't like the auto fail stealth, the gun play was sub par and I couldn't get used to the flight controls but if I can get it under £20 I'd give it another chance

@johncalmc I loved fable 1 and 2 and remake of 1 but hated 3. 3 was awful

@DETfaninATL there are suggestions that insomniac have a secret 3rd game being in development alongside wolverine and Spiderman 3 and I think it's possible it's a remaster or sunset overdrive for series X PS5 and PC. Probably wrong mind lol

I loved 1, 3, reach and 4 though

@Flora2122 that's cause most people are idiots unfortunately. In a scoring system out of 10 a 5 is average and 6 is above average. If you are into the IP or like the dev or just die hard into a specific genre ignoring games that get 6/7 etc is just idiotic

I've just finished The Pathless. Cracking game.

Now deciding what to play next from games I've bought in recent sales, Nobody wants to die, a short hike, tails of iron 2, cocoon & just crow things

Also jealous of anyone getting to play Donkey Kong Bananza. Looks amazing that game

There not going to port single player games over. Just live service ones.

I know they did Lego horizon on switch but just can't see any other single player games being ported and Def not to xbox

Black ops 7? Genuinely have such a blind spot when it comes to COD I didn't know there had been a black ops 5 or 6

@Mostik a lot less platforming in Dark Ages. It's the best of the 3 in my opinion.

@DaveTheRave plus if they want it to feel different that mode with the close up combat looks like it could make it feel very different.
