I really enjoyed Frontiers.

I played superstars for a bit but just found it off.

Got my son Generations for Christmas so I'll play that at some point and see what I think.

Superstars felt like a stop gap game to me and it's timing hitting around same time as Mario Wonder can't have helped

I haven't played Silent Hill 2 which I think may have gotten top 2 or 3, or Lego Horizon, and I missed Horizon remastered on the list so my top 5 was....

1) Astro Bot
2) Stellar Blade
3) The Last of Us Part 2 remastered
4) Still Wakes the Deep
5) The Plucky Squire

Horizon remastered would have been 4th if remembered it, is it bad that 2 of my games are remastered? It's either testament to how good they are or sign that they're we're too many soulsbourne games for my tastes

The first game was superb.

Zelda style adventure with amazing graphics and innovative gameplay

Had to pause Soul Reaver as can't change gamma settings and finding some sections too dark to make out where to go.

@LifeGirl forspoken got slagged off by people who didn't play it. As someone who played it not long after it came out i can honestly say I genuinely liked it.

It wasn't perfect but it was fun and I finished it enjoying it for the most part

@KingPev 100% I genuinely liked it. Found it fun. Some good bits to the story towards the end

So glad Astro Bot won 4 including the big one as it's the most fun I've had in a video game in years.

It's just a game that makes you happy playing it and actually helped me during a difficult year

Hope a few give forspoken a go as I think it was given way too much bad press. I genuinely liked it

Wish that mode was available from the start as it definitely dampened the experience for me

@M-KesaiynCG I tried blood omen 1 again recently but the controls and combat weren't great in my opinion and I gave up on it.

May try blood omen 2 at some point as did enjoy it on PS2 and GameCube

@ParboldCoder I have very fond memories of both (and the whole series) but think a few people will get put off by some of the dated aspects and that will be a shame.

A remake or a new claim would be amazing and hopefully introduce a new generation to an amazing series

@ParboldCoder thought I'd tried that. Definitely did L3 and R3 as that's photo mode. I'll try it later.

I had a big graphical bug after beating the 1st boss

@slips666 no. You would get more story background playing blood omen 1 first but it won't harm playing Soul Reaver 1 and 2 first

Rewind feature will come in handy in that annoying fishing bit on Jak. Won't have to go though restart process until get the right amount of fish

It's a remaster of a 2 games from 1999 and 2001. The combat was never going to be anything other than a tad dated so was prepared for that.

For me it's a pure blast of nostalgia. Loved the games back in the day. They nailed the atmosphere and the voice acting still holds up.

Can't wait to play it tomorrow

@Majin_Deicide I pre-ordered Soul Reaver yesterday. Should start downloading tomorrow ready for me to start it on my lunch break on Tuesday.

Can't wait. The original blew me away on PS1 and Dreamcast.

At the time it was head and shoulders above any game I'd come across for voice acting. The story was brilliant too.

Sounds like the right decision. Much better to have a delay than a mess of a game released.

I'll get it in 2025 28 years after having 1st seen the original. Makes me feel old 🤣

@tameshiyaku I bought Outlaws on launch day and it left me cold. No hearsay here. May be better now it's patched but I just couldn't get into it

My brother got a PS1 in late 95 I think. I knew very little about it but was blown away by games like Battle arena Toshinden and ridge racer.

We had a PS1 from pretty much the start and it sealed my love for playstation to this day

I didn't play re-loaded but loaded was an early PS1 fave, with toshinden, Pandemonium!, ridge Racer, wipeout, Tekken and lone commando and the awful but at the time good looking FIFA 96

Luck of the draw is I own it takes 2. Id recommend that game for anyone into co-op and platform games

Smurf's dreams and downloaded like a dragon ishin as heard it's a good entry point and looks more fun than rise of the Ronin

I loved Astro Bot from start to finish. It's a reminder that games are meant to be fun and few games are as fun as Astro Bot is. Superb. 100% my game of the year

So many good games. Some early games like Pandemonium! Blew my mind in the 90s. Tekken 1-3, Resi 1-3. Spyro, crash, croc, ISS pro, FIFA 98, ridge Racer 1 and type 4. MGS. Soul reaver. Loaded. Ape escape.

There was even a good bugs bunny game that I forget the name of.

Definitely a big middle finger up to the premium subscribers. Costs more to get a new customer than to maintain a current one
