It's ridiculous charging to change your character's appearance in a full priced game.

@heavyartillery56 Yes, but usually not games from developers that traditionally make single player games, are part of a single player series but release as a co-op multiplayer shooter with battle passes and microtransactions.

It's funny how everyone except WB and parts of Rocksteady knew Suicide Squad was going to bomb.

This is the most asinine story I've seen lately. People were completely ignoring that Microsoft spent over 75 billion on two huge publishers to have the honor of "publishing" the most games on PlayStation.

Unless they're introducing a complete single player campaign on par with at least the Vegas series, I have zero interest.

I had a lot of fun with 1886 in the short amount of time it lasted and my goodness was it the easiest platinum I've ever gotten. I definitely would've played a sequel, as the ending clearly set one up, but I don't think multiplayer would've been a good idea. A potential sequel would've needed to be longer with more compelling gameplay.

@Shepherd_Tallon That's good to hear. I really like the art style - the Ori series was amazing - but I'm not really into soulslikes.

Regarding the disc drive not pairing, Mystic posted a video during the outage and in it, said he was indeed able to pair one. So I'm not sure if it was just this person and maybe not that widespread. Still annoying though.

This is a bit of a non-story.

I did not like Barbarian at all, but I'm hoping he can do a good job. Welcome to Raccoon City had it's heart in the right place, but it made the mistake of trying to cram the first two games into one 107 minute film, when the obvious choice should've been to focus solely on the first game and the Spencer Mansion. The first Paul WS Anderson film kind of did this, but it was just so off the walls and featured none of the characters from the game for some reason. Here's hoping this new adaptation finally gets it right.

I'm still surprised Starfield wasn't among the first Xbox games to make the transition, given that it was originally planned for PS5 anyway, and Bethesda obviously has a long history of releasing on PlayStation.

I can't remember the last time I finished a Nintendo game. In fact, I haven't touched my Switch in over a year.

It will be it's own thing, pretty much like the Switch was. Personally I haven't touched my OLED since getting the Portal, and I've got no desire to play any Nintendo games.

@nomither6 My point was that Starfield is a Bethesda game that was originally planned for PS5, whereas Halo, Gears, and Flight Simulator have never been on PS. So it would make sense for Starfield to come over first, regardless of whether or not it sucks.

These super credits remind me of the early Xbox 360 days, when you had to buy points to buy anything from the store. That system was rightfully left in the dust, so it's unfortunate to see it's return here, albeit on a much smaller scale

I still don't like how Xbox and Ninja Theory only released a Series X/S version of the first game and not a PS5 version. Hellblade sold over a million copies on PS4, and they could've shown some appreciation to those players by at least offering an upgrade of the first game, even if the sequel was going to be an Xbox exclusive.

If that's the case, why has Starfield not released on PlayStation yet? A PS5 version was already in development, and we know that Bethesda has worked with the console before. Same goes for Indiana Jones.

Feng Ji certainly comes across as quite arrogant. He wrote a victory speech two years ago? The game was a critical and commercial success, as was Astro Bot. Just take the L gracefully and move on. It's not like this is the only GOTY award out there.

Third person mode would be amazing though I'm not expecting it. Third person conversations would be a nice compromise though, similar to Deus Ex Human Revolution and Mankind Divided

Dark Descent was pretty good, but I just wish we could get a great Aliens single player FPS - like what Colonial Marines should've been.

Longtime Xbox exclusives like Forza and Halo appear to be imminently coming to PlayStation, but Starfield, a game that was originally going to come to PS5 is nowhere to be found. Very strange

@DarthCvrle66 Microsoft is worth 3 trillion dollars, Sony is worth over 1 billion. Sony is the lesser evil in my book.

I would imagine that more people are probably playing it on PS5 and Switch than PC.

I've been looking to play this - never played Silent Hill 2 before - but I'm definitely waiting until this is properly sorted out.

SDS really needs to overhaul RTTS. The ability to play as a female character was great, but everything feels stale. Voice acting would really help - it's always annoying to have every interaction be text-based, especially when your character is doing a post game interview.

Seems like this acquisition would make a ton of sense for both parties.
