Playdead, as we know, is working on some kind of moody sci-fi game with Epic. While End of Abyss, again published by the Unreal Engine maker, appears to hit the same beats, it’s actually being developed by new Swedish studio Section 9.
So, what would happen if you gave the kids in Little Nightmares a gun? There’s a hint of Dead Nation to this dark and moody isometric shooter, which has bleak lighting and ostentatious enemy designs.
“Keep your wits about you in End of Abyss, as what lurks in the dark could very much cut your exploration short,” the description reads.

This looked interesting, although I got it mixed up with that new Bloober team game, Cronos to begin with lol.
I love Dead Nation and have a soft spot for games of this ilk. I shall keep an eye on this.
Why do artists have obsession to make so dark games? there are more black shadows than any other colors.
@Frmknst Think you might be confusing it with something else... or was it known under a different name? I ask because the oldest news about this game is 11hrs old (at the time of typing this)
Yo, this looks really good, can't wait, I like this kind of horror games 😃
Clever headline

Looks awesome. That's what I want from indies.
I too thought this was Playdead's next game. Actually, I was hoping it was a sequel to Inside.
