Dark Descent was pretty good, but I just wish we could get a great Aliens single player FPS - like what Colonial Marines should've been.

Longtime Xbox exclusives like Forza and Halo appear to be imminently coming to PlayStation, but Starfield, a game that was originally going to come to PS5 is nowhere to be found. Very strange

@DarthCvrle66 Microsoft is worth 3 trillion dollars, Sony is worth over 1 billion. Sony is the lesser evil in my book.

This is the best news I'll hear all day, been waiting to play Dino Crisis again.

I would imagine that more people are probably playing it on PS5 and Switch than PC.

I've been looking to play this - never played Silent Hill 2 before - but I'm definitely waiting until this is properly sorted out.

SDS really needs to overhaul RTTS. The ability to play as a female character was great, but everything feels stale. Voice acting would really help - it's always annoying to have every interaction be text-based, especially when your character is doing a post game interview.

Seems like this acquisition would make a ton of sense for both parties.

Just trying to get a read on the situation - is the shimmering only on the performance mode?

I had the original on Vita, never finished it. Got Elite on the Switch, never finished it. Maybe, if it does come to PS5, the third time will be the charm.

Everytime I go into the app and try to agree to the new ToS, it says "something went wrong"...

At the very least we should see remasters of 2 and 3 (and a remake in the case of the first game). I think most people would welcome the return of Killzone in some form

I still think the web spinners/spiders in the original Resident Evil are the creepiest. That unholy combination of red, yellow, and black still sends chills down my spine.

Great lineup - I've had The Devil in me and firefighter simulator on my wishlist for awhile. And nice to finally see Dino Crisis, hopefully RE3 gets added next

I remember playing the original when it came out and using the PS camera feature where it records your reaction during jumpscares. When I went back to watch the footage, pretty much everything is drowned out by the jet engine-esque sound of the PS4

Very exciting news, but hopefully the xeno is not indestructible this time.

I put in my PS4 disc of Resident Evil 2 and, while trying to download the PS5 version, was met with an ad for some sort of bundle of the animated CG films. Problem was, it was right next to the download button for the PS5 version of the game, so for a brief moment, I thought the game had removed the upgrade and replaced it with the CG films. Very annoying indeed.

Haven't been following DS2 too closely. Is it still Decima or is this Unreal 5?

I remember buying a Dreamcast a few years back just to play Shenmue (before the PS4 versions came out), and getting completely discombobulated due to the Dreamcast controller using XAYB but with different colors than the Xbox pad. My brain hurt trying to do the QTEs and minigames

@jrt87 Yeah, it's extremely irritating that Sony would choose to bundle the most expensive console, raising the price even more. Would've been more reasonable to just put the digital edition into a bundle instead.

Hopefully they also add the option to mute the nauseating Imperial dispatcher who blares commands every two minutes while you're wanted. And the ability to carry another weapon with you would be nice, or at least let you hold onto it while climbing.

Gave it an 8. I've played around 20 hours so far and, aside from the questionable stealth gameplay, am enjoying it more than the Jedi games

@Godot25 Well the difference is that the PlayStation PC ports are all of games that were never going to ship on Xbox. But the Activision/Blizzard/Bethesda games have released on both PlayStation and Xbox since basically the PS3/360 generation, and now because Xbox decided to purchase these two large publishers outright, there is an air of uncertainty around games that before, would've been assumed to be multiplatform.

Hopefully the lip synching is on point. I played Ghost of Tsushima in Japanese on PS5 and never went back to English
